11. Swords master

As the exams started everyone took off Bryn sighed and used his shadow magic to completely freeze everyone in place as he took off most of the weaker magic users were stuck in place people like Maho and Gwen were unaffected and people like Hugo, and Eric broke out of it after a few seconds and it took Kotta around a minute.

Around 100 entries were able to get free, the rest were stuck and therefore didn't pass due to Bryn.

Bryn took off and blasted his way through this test he was able to slip through the cracks and within the shadows of the maze, he was able to get through the maze within six minutes, as everyone was long behind him. As time went on all of the Folosire six fished rather quickly with them being the first five all but Kotta she ended being number 49.

As the Exams started there was a young boy with black hair that was cut short he was from the rune Kingdom he just wanted a chance to prove himself but as the exams started he was frozen in place the boy could not move one muscle as he watched others push forward he sighs as he is unable to move after a few minutes he watches as 99 people were all gone and he was left in the dust, however he had pulled his black blade out he was just waiting for it to fall.

And so it freed the boy.

The boy rushed onward as he was able to pass some of the others but this was not going to be easy as group of three ran at the boy attacking him trying to stop him from passing them the three of them sliced at the boy but he slammed down his blade and kicked forward flipping himself onward

"Go on you two the great Ron has this" one of the attackers.

"Eh you full of yourself" the boy said as the other two attackers pushed passed him as Ron pulled out a gold blade

"This is the gold Blade six over Nine. It can cut anything and it costs me 90000000000000000000000000000000000 coins now!" Ron said.

"Oh man that thing is so fake" the boy said

"Like hell it's the real thing, now give me your name!" Ron shouted.

"Well, let's bring that to a test, and you can call me Mark" the boy said as he pushed himself forward and headbutts Ron as he slams his fist into Ron. as Ron kicks and rolls out to avoid the attack, Ron would then grab his gold blade as he would slam it into Mark cutting right into him.

Ron would pull it out as he goes for a head chop however Mark used his wind magic to push him away from Ron.

Mark would sigh as he at this point saw it best to run, he started using his wind magic, however Ron would be able to keep up as he was just a very fast man.

Ron went in for another slash as Mark blocked it with his black blade this caused the gold blade to shatter.

Mark then used his wind magic to slam Ron into a wall as he did so he felt someone jump on his back, this was Kotta she smiled as she held onto the boy tightly.

"Hey get off of me and stop feeling up my body" Mark yelled.

"No what im not feeling you up, i have an idea you have wind magic just use it to push us forward and i can use my magic to get us there, we are both in dead last so its all or nothing" Kotta said as she nods

Mark would smirk as he went along with this idea as he did Kotta uses her light ice to help with the winds as they are sent into the air they are then thrown to the finish line.

"Number 49 Kotta, and number 50 Mark" this is the end of round one." the instructor said.

Chum was excited

"Woah, that was a great round. The Folosire six all passed." Chum said.

"I am happy to see that," Henry said.

"Tyson and Jack still aren't back?" David asked.

"Must be a long line," Chum said.

"Oh would you look at that we are down to just 50, ok now at this stage any of the 50 that are left can get selected, but there will be a slight intermission, as we work on who will battle who, now enjoy" Ryon said.

As Tyson and Jack went to get snacks a man was behind them waiting he had a Katana at his hip a not as common sword for the these kingdoms as in this world these swords come from far away islands.

"Can we get a caramel apple, 2 turkey legs, some popcorn, nachos." Tyson said as Jack nodded, the two of them waited as the man behind them went to place his order.

"Yes, just let me get a turkey leg." the man said, this man with the Katana happened to be Kenji.

"I'm sorry sir i just sold the last turkey legs for the day" the vendor worker said.

"What how could you be out of turkey legs, ah fine let me get a caramel apple then" Kenji said

"I'm so sorry sir, I also sold the last one as well" the vendor said.

"What how, this can't be possible, ah man my Luck is really Shit today" Kenji said as he pushed his hands in his pockets and turned away about to leave as he then Saw Tyson and Jack he had an interesting idea maybe he could test these kids.

"Hey you two, do you happen to be Tyson Lupo, and Jack Ringo?" Kenji asked as Tyson turned around surprised.

"Woah your a squad leader" Tyson said

"That's your first reaction, hmm well it's true we are but you already knew that" jack said.

"I sure did, well i'm going to help you, i heard your potential is unlimited" Kenji said

"Oh woah a squad leader wanting to help us, that's super cool" Tyson said.

"Hmm well it could help us" Jack said.

"Wait first we have to let your grandfather know, if I didn't master you would probably be mad at me." Kenji said. As he noticed, he had turkey legs and apple they had.

"Wait a minute do you Two have turkey legs, hand them over!!!" Kenji said as he was starved.

"What no way, these are ours!" Tyson said as he and Jack watched as Kenji tried to grab at the turkey legs, Jack and Tyson rushed off heading back to Chum as Kenji tried to take the turkey legs from them.

As Kenji got close to Chum, the old man would trip him up.

"Now Kenji what have i told you about chasing people for food, now Kenji, i know what your thinking, and yes i think you should help these two out, even more since you have those two blades i gave you long ago, and Tyson the caramel apple is for Kenji so just give it to him" Chum said as he smiles.

"Oh it is. Well if you say so gramps" Tyson said as he handed the apple over to Kenji. David would sigh as he looked away in the distance.

"Be Careful you three" Henry said.

"Wait can we get swords to train with" Jack said As Kenji took a large bite out of the apple, and had a dark glare as he tossed a real sword to Jack unlike the swords Jack and Tyson used before that were custom these felt heavy and Jack dropped it right away.

"What the hell that sword its too heavy" Jack said

"Duh that's the point your not ready for blades like that, and blades like that suck, you dont want real swords like that you want custom blades or even or a katana blade like mine" Kenji said as he tossed it over to Jack the blade felt light and was easier to hold, it was still a bit heavy for even Jack as he handed it back to Kenji.

"Well it would probably be best for you guys to head to a more hidden area" Chum said as there was a crowd around them. At this point Ryon had walked over as he saw Kenji.

"Kenji what are you doing I need you back" Ryon said as Kenji sighed.

"No, I have to help these two," Kenji said.

"Ah i see this is the reason you must have shown up for, well i cant stop you just make it quick" Ryon said as he smiled and waved at Chum as he went back over to sit with the squad leaders.

Chum then sighs as he looks at Henry

"I shall teleport you to somewhere hidden" Chum said as he clapped his hands together and Jack, Kenji and Tyson teleported to hidden woodlands.
