Annoying interruption

After honing several of his abilities, Orion promptly moved to the living room, where he spent some time relaxing and watching TV.

He devoured barbecue-flavored potato chips with great gusto, shoveling piece after piece into his mouth without pause.

Understandably so, it had been ten long years since he had last experienced such unadulterated pleasure.

"Master, here is your orange juice," Serafina said, placing a large glass of chilled orange juice on the coffee table where Orion was lounging.

In response, Orion smiled gently at Serafina and beckoned her to sit beside him. Without hesitation, he then rested his head on her soft and fragrant lap.

Orion smiled contentedly as he enjoyed the movie on the television. Half an hour later, he fell asleep in Serafina's lap.

'The young master looks so adorable when he sleeps,' thought Serafina as she gently stroked Orion's face.

A beautiful smile spread across Serafina's lips; she had long awaited this moment.

Though they had only met a few times, Serafina felt a deep connection with her master. For years, the Matriarch had prepared her to become accustomed to Orion's traits and habits.

"Serafina!! Come out!!"

Suddenly, the loud shout of a young man echoed through the living room, waking Orion from his slumber.

"Ahh, who dares to disturb my sleep!?"

Orion shouted in frustration, clutching his head. Without further ado, he stormed out to find the source of the commotion.

Serafina, not wanting to be left behind, followed closely behind him. When they reached the gate, they found a blond-haired young man waiting outside the mansion's gate.

He was about to speak to Serafina but stopped short when he saw Orion wrapping his arm around her waist.

"Who-Who are you!? How dare you touch the woman I like!!"

The young man shouted angrily, glaring at Orion.

"Hey kid, what are you doing here? Why are you disturbing other people's peace?"

Orion asked with a neutral expression, though there was a hint of displeasure in his voice.

Feeling insulted, the young man immediately attacked Orion with a large wind spear.

The spear shot forward at high speed, aiming directly at Orion's head. "A wind spear, huh? Not too shabby. But a weak attack like that won't even scratch me. Foolish hothead!"

Orion raised his sword and deflected the wind spear, causing it to embed itself in the ground.

Utilizing the Aura of Transposition, Orion teleported to the young man's side. Not wanting to damage the gate or other property, Orion intended to take the fight outside the mansion grounds.

"W-What!?"

The young man was utterly shocked when Orion suddenly appeared beside him.

Without a second thought, Orion cleanly severed the young man's left hand. Fresh blood began to gush from the wound.

"Arrrghhhhh....it-it hurts!!!"

The young man screamed in agony, clutching his severed hand. He immediately knelt on the ground, sobbing uncontrollably.

"Pathetic... I seem to have overestimated you. Get lost, you wretched brat! I don't want to see your face here again!!"

Orion spoke with a grim expression and a voice that carried an icy chill.

Suddenly, several black SUVs sped towards them. A dozen burly men quickly exited their vehicles, rushing to check on the young man's condition.

"Young master, please hold on!! We'll get you to a hospital right away!"

One of the burly men spoke with concern, then carried the young man into one of the SUVs, while ordering some of his men to stay behind and confront Orion.

"What do you intend to do now?"

Orion asked coolly, folding his arms. He wanted to resolve this matter quickly.

"How dare you injure the main heir of the Riverstone family!!"

"Even though you are from the Solaria family, this issue will not go unpunished!!"

"We won't let you leave here unscathed. At least one of your hands will be severed!!"

Three of the burly men yelled angrily, threatening Orion.

"Hahahaha, how amusing!!!"

Orion laughed loudly, hearing such empty threats.

Without further ado, he drew his sword and raised it vertically.

As he slowly swung his sword downward, the burly men were forced to the ground by an intense gravitational field.

Soon, they were pushed into the earth, creating small, deep holes.

All the bones in their bodies shattered instantly, and their internal organs suffered the same fate.

In an instant, they were all dead, unable to do anything.

"Overconfidence is not a virtue; strength is everything in this world!!"

Serafina opened the gate and ran to Orion's side. "Master, are you alright?"

Even though she knew Orion was uninjured, Serafina was still worried about his condition.

Typically, novice magic users tend to experience some side effects due to their bodies not being accustomed to handling newfound powers.

However, this did not apply to Orion. He had frequently faced extreme situations and, thanks to his aura abilities, could easily master his new magical powers.

"Serafina, why do these people dare to cause trouble in front of the Solaria family's main residence?"

Orion turned to Serafina, his curiosity piqued.

Serafina bowed her head briefly before looking at Orion with a serious expression, "Actually, the Matriarch is away on a trip with the Deputy Matriarch. The three princesses are vacationing abroad, and none of them can be reached at the moment."

"But don't worry, Master, they are surely fine. They usually turn off their phones when they are busy."

Serafina explained in detail, trying to reassure Orion.

"So that's how it is. Still, they were incredibly bold and reckless. I won't let this go unpunished!!"

Orion spoke with frustration, his face darkening.

"In that case, let's pay a visit to the Riverstone family's main residence!! There are certain things they must comply with if they don't want to be destroyed!!"

One hour later, a convoy of several black SUVs and a truck arrived at the main gate of the Riverstone family residence.

"What is your purpose here!?"

The gatekeeper asked in a harsh tone.

Orion stepped out of the SUV driven by Serafina and used his Aura of Subjugator to exert absolute control over the gatekeeper's behavior through Mind Control.

"Open the gate!!" Orion commanded, his tone domineering.

The gatekeeper obediently nodded and went to his post, pressing a specific button.

The gate before Orion began to open slowly. Once fully open, he immediately entered the front yard of the medieval European-style manor.

Disliking unnecessary chatter, Orion drew his sword and channeled concentrated gravitational energy along its blade.

Just as Orion was about to attack, a middle-aged man emerged from the manor's main door.

"What are you doing here!? If you wish for a swift death, you've come to the right place!!"

The middle-aged man spoke with a commanding tone and a look of disgust, but when he saw Serafina, his eyes turned lecherous.

"Everyone here can die, except for that woman!!"

The man said, licking his lips lasciviously.

Orion couldn't stand it and activated his Aura of Subjugator, using Fear Induction to instill a strong sense of oppression in the man.

He staggered back and fell to the ground, drenched in cold sweat, his face displaying utter terror.

"W-What is this!!!?" He screamed, his voice trembling from extreme fear.

"Is a scumbag like you the patriarch of the Riverstone family!?"

Using his imagination, Orion increased the gravitational field's intensity around the middle-aged man, causing him to sink into the stone-paved ground.

Suddenly, a massive black Cerberus emerged from a magic circle beside the middle-aged man. The mythical beast immediately lunged at Orion with its sharp claws and stabbed at him with its pointed tail.

Orion easily dodged, having sensed the imminent danger through his Aura of Foresight.

"All of you, fall back and find a safe place to take cover."

Orion commanded firmly.

"""As you command, Master!"""

Alice and the others bowed respectfully and retreated to a safe distance.

The Cerberus did not remain idle. Its central head spewed a concentrated red flame, akin to a laser, shooting in a straight line toward Orion.

"Gravitational Repulsion!!"

Orion shouted his technique loudly.

Instantly, a gravitational barrier with repulsive properties formed before him.

When the laser-like flame hit the gravitational barrier, the strong repulsive force deflected the flame back toward its user.

"Arrrghh....damn!!!. This hurts so much"

"Damn brat, how dare he deflect my attack!!"

"That's why you need to identify the enemy's abilities first!!"

The three Cerberus heads bickered among themselves, while their wounds began to heal relatively quickly.

It seemed the Cerberus possessed excellent regenerative abilities.

"Lord Randy, are you conscious?"

One of the Cerberus heads on the right asked politely.

"Ahh... damn, that was painful. Thank you for answering my call."

Randy replied with a smile, brushing the dust off his clothes.

Meanwhile, Orion began channeling a large amount of gravitational energy into his sword. As the energy concentrated, a high-intensity gravitational field formed around him.

"Never let your guard down on the battlefield," Orion said seriously.

The rocks and soil around him crumbled instantly under the immense pressure of the gravitational field.

A dark purple gravitational wave began to glow brightly along the length of Orion's sword.

"Gravity Wave Cut!"

Orion shouted his attack technique, performing a high-speed horizontal slash toward the Cerberus.

The gravitational wave extended from Orion's sword, traveling at the speed of light.

Einstein's field equations show that gravitational waves propagate through spacetime at the same speed as light. This is because they are disturbances in the field that don't require a medium and are guided by the geometry of spacetime itself.

Unlike in a vacuum, Earth's atmosphere provides little resistance to gravitational waves, but this does not significantly affect their speed.

Various solid structures in the wave's path were neatly sliced. Every surface of the ground along the wave's path was deformed and shattered into small fragments.

In mere milliseconds, the sound of flesh being cleanly cut echoed from the front.

In the next moment, the three Cerberus heads fell to the ground with a resounding thud.

The Riverstone family's manor was also sliced in the process.

As the gravitational wave passed through various building structures, a high-pressure gravitational field formed, destroying everything within the manor.

There were no casualties in the attack; Orion used his Aura of Detection to locate all living beings in the area and then used his Aura of Transposition to move them to safety.

"W-What!!?"

Randy's body shuddered violently as he witnessed the scene, once again collapsing to the ground in utter terror.

"Pathetic coward!!"

Orion spat, his voice dripping with disdain.

Without further ado, Orion created an anti-gravity field around Randy.

Using his sword as a medium, he lifted his sword upward, causing Randy to float high into the air.

"Ahhh....what are you doing!? Please spare me, sir!!"

Randy Riverstone, the head of one of the prominent ancient wizard families, cried like a sniveling child.

Reaching an altitude of 10,000 feet, Orion created a high-intensity gravitational field around Randy's body.

With tremendous speed, Randy plummeted to the ground without any form of protection.

"H-help me!!" Randy screamed in utter desperation.

He couldn't control his body due to the powerful gravitational pull.

The momentum and kinetic energy generated were so immense that Randy's body could barely withstand the force.

"Goodbye, your services will be remembered!"

Orion said with a playful smile. In a few seconds, Randy would crash into the ground, and his fate would be sealed.

However, an interruption from another party halted Orion's plan.

Suddenly, a long chain wrapped around Randy, pulling him to the right.

Simultaneously, Orion turned to the source of the chain. A female knight had extended the chain from both her palms.

Gradually, the chain shortened and retracted into her hands. At the same time, several other knights reached Randy, placing him on the rooftop.

At this moment, dozens of flamboyantly dressed knights stood firmly on the intact rooftop.
