And we're back baby.

(General P.O.V)

The underground section of Angel's mansion was set up with multiple sectors. 3 sublevels to be exact.

Sublevel 1 was the Testing Facility, where Angel conducted demonstrations to advertise new products for special guests. This Sublevel was also the sparring/training area for his people. Though another one existed in the mansion for general use.

Sublevel 2 was the Control Center/ KingsGuard HQ and was protected by layers of security, mainly Biometric signatures. In addition, there was a variant of the BlackNite power scanning Matrix that could scan someone's Aura and match them to the system. Making this section only accessible to a select few.

Sublevel 3 was the Dungeons.

These 3 sublevels made up Angel's evil Lair. Every villain had one.

-Control Room-

The Chamber was big. Almost the same size as the Testing Facility.

The front of the room was set up with large screens from which the entire Compound was visible through Camera feeds. This included the cells in the dungeons.

The couple of seats below the screens were occupied by Angel and Ravager.

The rest of the KingsGuard including Psimon, stood behind them.

Lastly, on the lounging couch set below the steps leading up to the screens, sat Laura, munching on a packet of chips.

The terrified screams coming off the screens they were watching, was something noone would expect from grown men.

With the exception of Cheshire who was laughing at the whole thing, the others looked mildly horrified at what Candie was doing to the prisoners.

The fact that said little girl was cackling in glee as she and her Teddy bear floated above the writhing forms of the 4 members of the Suicide Squad, made the whole thing fascinating if uncomfortable to watch.

"She's like a demon. A cute little demon from the deepest pits of hell."

Goku muttered, trying to reconcile the image of the girl who would bug him for sparring with what he was witnessing.

"What is she even doing to them?"

Jinx wondered, her face reflecting the same horror and fear felt by most of the others.

"Amazing!"

Psimon panted, fingers on the sides of his head as he reached out to the cell with his powers,

"She's making them experience death in various ways, drowning in lava, getting devoured by billions of ants, ground to a meat paste, trampled by elephants and more I can't describe for fear of giving you Trauma. Incredible! simply incredible! The young Mistress has truly surpassed my skill level in mind manipulation."

He added in agitated awe, eyes popping out of their sockets from how hard he was staring at the screens.

"Have you always been this unhinged?"

Jinx asked, throwing a weird look at the Telepath.

Psimon turned to her, licking his lips with a crazed look,

"My mother dropped me on my head when I was but a mere babe. I sustained multiple skull fractures. Luckily, my grandfather was a genius scientist and fixed me right up. Made me More. I like to think of it as a blessing in disguise, Jinx."

"Oh. So that's how you became a psychopath."

Jinx said with strained smile,

"Good for you then."

'It's still hard to believe that that's Scandal. Then again...'

Ravager thought to herself, glancing at the boss, whose eyes had not left the screen once. Throughout the entire time, he had remained silent, hands interlocked under his chin, elbows on the desk.

'...given she's his sister and who their Father is, I guess it makes sense to be a little broken inside.'

Ravager concluded.

"Something's happening."

Cheshire abruptly stated, leaning over Ravager's shoulder.

Bang! A gunshot sounded through the cell.

In the air, Candie floated down.

"I'm bored now."

She sighed, feet touching down on a pool of blood quickly spreading through the floor.

The blood belonged to Peacemaker, who had shot himself with his own gun, blowing his brains with a bullet through his chin.

Off to the side, slumped against the wall was Flag, also dead. He had smashed his skull open by repeatedly banging his forehead on the hard surface of the wall.

Deadshot was curled up on the ground next to Peacemaker's body, whimpering and muttering incoherently.

As for the last member, the Pilot, he sat on the ground- back against the door, his eyes unfocused and a trail of Saliva dripping from the corner of his lips.

He was brain dead, having gone insane from experiencing agonizing rinse and repeat deaths. His mind broke only after the 3rd instance of dying.

The other 2 held on longer but they eventually committed suicide, all without Candie's intervention. Deadshot was all that remained.

"Wow."

Candie knelt before him, her mouth forming an O.

"I didn't think anyone would survive that. Did you Teddy?"

She held out her Teddy Bear for Deadshot to see. When it shook its head, Deadshot's whimpered in even more fear, trying to crawl away.

"That's not very nice."

Candie frowned,

"What to do with you? Oh What to do?...ah! I got it! You have a daughter right? And I saw in your memories that you love her a lot."

Deadshot tensed, unaware, Candie continued with a heavy sigh.

"My Dad was never nice to me. He never hugged or read me bedtime stories, or bought me gifts. Sometimes I think...he never even loved me..."

She finished sadly.

The sadness disappeared the next second with a shrug.

"Oh well, he's dead so it don't matter. I have Big Brother. And he's been like a Dad to me anyway."

Raising a hand, Candie touched Deadshot's head. There was a flash of blue light in the little girl's eyes and slowly, reasoning returned to Deadshot as his mind was fully restored.

Candie stood up, holding Teddy to her chest while gazing down at Deadshot with serious eyes,

"If your mission had succeeded Big Bro would have been sad, which is why I had to punish you. But if you don't come home, your daughter will be sad too. So, I'm letting you go."

With that, she turned around and started skipping away, humming a tune only she knew.

"I shut off the bomb in your head too, Mr.Lawton, say hi to your daughter for mee!!"

Her voice sounded out as she disappeared around the corner.

Deadshot, body trembling after everything he'd been through, sat upright. He looked around the room, seeing the state of his colleagues.

"Fuck."

A soft cuss escaped him.

His fingers went to his neck where a locket hang, and opening it revealed a smiling photo of his daughter.

"Thanks Baby. You saved Daddy's life today."

In the Control Room, everyone was silent after what they had witnessed.

Angel lowered his hands, placing the palms straight on the table. He leaned back on his chair and surprised them all, by suddenly letting out loud bells of laughter.

"Hahahahaha! Yes! That's my sister for you. She showed them who's boss! Mmh! That's how you do it!"

He said, slapping the table and making the whole room tremble. An imprint of his palm was left on the metal surface.

"You look happy Boss."

Cheshire draped her hands around his muscular shoulders, her chest pushing up against the back of his head.

"Of course I'm happy."

Angel spoke, wiping a lone tear that fell from the corner of his eye.

"They grow up so fast...sniff...My little baby sister is so awesome now."

While strange looks were exchanged at how he was acting, no one said anything. They all knew what Candie meant to him.

Angel took a deep breath, slapping his face a few times. His expression evened out.

"Time for the main Show."

He declared in a normal voice, getting up from his chair.

"Boss what about Harley and Clayface? You wanted them separated from the rest. What do you want me to do with them?"

Psimon hurriedly asked before he could leave.

Angel thought about it for a second,

"Clayface's ability makes him interesting and Dr. Harleen Quinzel is a special brand of Crazy that I want to study, on top of being a psychology expert herself...mmh...give them a choice, 'work off the insult of trying to kidnap my sister or death in the most gruesome way possible'. You can show them their teammate's fates. Also, put them through Process 2. That should ensure loyalty, though I'm unsure if it will work on Harley."

Psimon bowed his head, a sinister smile painting his face,

"Rest assured young Master, I shall put them through the ringer. In two days, they'll be licking your boots in blind servitude."

Angel really didn't want that, but he still smiled at the Telepath's eagerness. So he said,

"I can always count on you, Psimon."

Angel then tapped his ear.

"Shade?"

At the mention of the name, Angel was swallowed by his shadow.

Cheshire rubbed her hands after he was gone, occupying the empty seat,

"This next part, I wouldn't miss for the world."

She said, excitement pouring off her.

At that time, the elevator dinged and Candie entered, joining the others in the Control Room. A shadow detached from the floor of the lift, creeping up her leg unnoticed and entering her Teddy Bear.

Teddy's eyes flashed red.

-Testing Facility-

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Natasha emptied the entire clip on the drone target, hitting all the bullseyes.

She went to reload, only for her earpiece to buzz.

"Roger that, Boss."

She replied, taking a deep breath. It was time to face the ghosts of her past.

She reloaded her handgun and cocked it. Just a second later, her body was swallowed into it's shadow.

Moving through shadows was something she would never get used to, prefering a Boom tube instead. However, she had to admit, while the sensation felt like passing through oil, it was a fast transition.

She opened her eyes and found herself in a cell, standing next to a taciturn Angel.

And before them, sitting on an interrogation desk was Waller.

"Finally come to kill me?"

The heavy set woman asked in a steady voice, lacking the fear someone in her position would normally carry.

"First, some simple questions,"

Angel said while walking forward, hands in his pockets,

"Then afterwards, sure. Natasha will put a bullet through your head and we can call it a day. So without further ado, Waller, I want to know...who gave you the order to come after me and mine?"
