youthful days

I woke up on my 16th birthday training day to be a soldier in my family i grabbed my training sword A Redwood Sword. It was created for combat. The blade is flexible, currently has a smooth edge, and has no marks or engravings. It has a simple guard, a rough grip, and a plain pommel. It is lightweight, well balanced, and is to be used in the right hand. The scabbard is plain and is made of wood with no trimmings. i went into the kitchen where my father was preparing dinner with my friend Melissa. despite being much younger than me she somehow looks no different than she does now god i love her. "hi Jacob" Melissa giggled. i did not want her to see me in my morning state as it was awful my demonic red eyes looked scarier than i would like to admit, my spiked hair fluffed up like a dead rat Melissa mostly looked past that so i gave her a nod. the food she prepared was lovely. A small fish-based meal suitable for a carnivore, often eaten at dinner.

It is a spicy steamed fish salad.

The fish is naturally sweet and sour in flavor. It is overly seasoned with rare herbs and spices and eaten with strips of sweet and bitter combined insect meat.

It's often eaten as comfort food but for me , this was just breakfast i sat down and Melissa sat next to me with her arm around me i chuckled and patted her back "so how was your morning liss?" i asked awkwardly "Well I did a few drills mostly the hand-to-hand combat stuff," Melissa said disinterestedly "who was your instructor this time?" i had said already knowing whom it might be"Delmar Fowler."

"ugh gross," i said i grabbed my Redwood Sword "here let me show you a real training session" Melissa's tail wiggled excitedly.
