CHAPTER 42: Against The Feeling

　　Lisa didn't know why Gerald suddenly turned violent again, but from the start, Gerald had shown an arrogant and possessive attitude towards her. However, there was something that made Lisa herself worried. It was Gerald's question, why she even kneeled to the King only to save him. She, herself, did not understand it.

　　Even though her heart knew that she had a strange feeling for Gerald, her lips kept denying that she was starting to fall in love with Gerald.

　　The shrill sound of birds rang out from the end of the iron-barred room's ventilator. Lisa just sat with her legs bent in front of her chest. Her gaze was blank. Her mind was full of all the question marks in her head.

　　She wondered how silver mask found out about her family background, how it made this neat scenario and how it could prepare an alibi for the old vampires where the vampires thought it was impossible for a vampire from this kingdom to kill humans so brutally.
