CHAPTER 41: Kneeling to the King

　　Peter saw the despair in Lisa's eyes. But he couldn't stand to see Lisa kneel for another man, so he wanted to come to defend her. Before that happened, Phoebe did the same.

　　Phoebe, the elder of the vampire kingdom, suddenly appeared from the crowd and stood up after listening to Lisa's explanation about someone wearing a silver mask.

　　"Not all vampires can conquer silver. Only the Xandfields can," said Phoebe, looking at Bosy's face.

　　"Are you accusing me?" said Bosy with burning eyes.

　　Phoebe laughed, "No one is accusing you. Why do you feel offended?"

　　"Your eyes said so."

　　"No, I did not."

　　"Don't fight. There is no empirical evidence that the silver mask exists," said the King.

　　Then, the man with the crown on his head approached Peter.

　　"Peter, can't you read other people's minds? Try reading what the girl is thinking. Is what she said true?" asked the King.

　　Peter bowed to the King and walked over to where Lisa was standing.
