Like A Brother

Esther walks up to her after the guards escorted Alex back into the Labour-house.

"Who's he Angela?" Esther asked and Angela wipes the tears of joy that had formed in her eyes.

She was so happy to see him and couldn't find word to explain her overjoyed heart , so she only nodded making Esther and the rest of her colleague who approached her where she stood, believed the handsome masculine man was her elder brother who might have been captured by the beasts men for years, since they went rogue, so they smiled at her warily.

Lady Annabelle returns to their own assigned location and asked them, "What are you girls standing there doing?." She questioned them as she saw some of the them gathered around Angela and the sun had already fallen, with the nights quickly approaching.

She approached them and was surprised to see Angela's face redden and she wondered what caused it as she saw the young woman sob.

"What happened?" she questions them as she approached Angela and turns to face the rest of the girls.

"Can't you girls speak?" she asked them again and one of the girls manage to respond, "She saw her elder brother Ma'am."

"Oh!" Lady Annabelle muttered as she stares back.at the mighty two storey building Labour-house built for the men.

"That's not why you should be crying Angela, I had thought maybe any of the guards didn't something to you. Come with me" She told Angela and started walking away.

"Now you girls should burn up all those dirt quick.and return back to the woman quarters, except you want the men to invite you for the night" Lady Annabelle told them as she walks away with Angela following rightly behind her and the girls quickly burnt the weeds they had dragged out, waiting for the fire to burn off as they continue to stare around the palace, being their first time, visiting the palace.

Lady Annabelle took Angela back to the women quarters and into the hall, she walked passed some of the ladies in the hall and took her to the new room given to Angela and her sets.

Lady Annabelle stepped in first while Angela closed the door behind her, seeing they already stepped back into the same room she shares with her colleagues.

She sniffed and finally wipe of her eyes with the back of her palms.

"Angela, I know you are happy seeing your brother here in the palace, but you're not allowed to go to the Labour-house to disturb him as the guards there wouldn't like that" Lady Annabelle informed her.

"Okay Ma'am" Angela softly replied.

"Good, I can understand how you feel, but know there are all lot of men there, going them to reunite with him as your family might warrant them to torture him, You have to keep your distance from him okay." Lady Annabelle advised her and she nods.

"Good, I asked the girls to deliver some set of clothes last night to you, did you see them?" Lady Annabelle asked her and she nodded again still sniffing and wipe of her nostrils with her arms.

She walks back to the bed to get a piece of cloth to use in cleaning up her nose and drying the corners of her eyes.

"Well that's all, I just want to be sure you received the clothes and underwear"

"I did, thank you" Angela replied and she nods and exit the room, leaving Angela inside.

Angela sat back on her bed, she was so happy to finally see Alex. She had thought he was dead, but he looked more masculine and more handsome than the last time she saw him.

It was already six years ago and that time he wasn't even huge. No he looked so tough like the beast men, she smiles as she outlined his looks. She had completely forgotten she was surrounded when she ran into his arms.

She wanted to kiss him and she remembers the first time he kissed her in one of her father's farms, when she went out to pluck out the fresh herbs and fruits her mother sent her to the farm to collect.

Alex had been promising her heaven on earth, promising to marry her and she was ready to have sex with him on their farm that particular day six years ago as he didn't have a house of his own still living in his father's house.

She had stripped and wanted to, when one her father's friend caught them as she was also surprised seeing the man coming out from their farm.

He went straight to report her father's house and reported her to her father and her father warned Alec to stay away from her, expect he's ready to marry her.

Alex was still learning how to carve then and their was no way he would marry her, not having a good means of livelihood. Then the beast-men and them were still living in harmony not until they protested again and things went south.

She sighs as she thought about him. She cannot wait to give herself to him. Probably if she gets pregnant for him, they will allow them leave the palace and she wouldn't be killed as they don't kill pregnant women.

But she wasn't sure about Alex, what will they do to him, if they found out he impregnated one of their slaves?. She remembers Lady Annabelle had told her that after a years she was free to marry any of the beast-men she likes. Well she's now ready to marry Alex, but would they even accept since he's not a beast-man like them, she sighs.

Soon all the rest of her colleague returns back to the large room they all shared and Esther walks up to meet seeing her sit on the bed.

Some of the girls had kept their distance, noticing Lady Annabelle actually gave her more underwear and clothes than them, who was only given two underwear each and five clothes. Whereas she was given five underwear and seven clothes as she had two new clothes and they don't know why.

Was that part of her own punishment for refusing to strip or she was being more favoured than them?.

Soon they all went back to the second floor upstairs to have their dinner as it was already late and they normally have their dinner on time, as it took time in sharing the large pot of food among many young women in the hall.

Angela left cheek had reduced and no longer swollen, she remembered the painful look on Alex face, when he saw her cheek. But he didn't have any scratch or mark on his body either.

She sighs and took her respective seat.

Tana has been quite ever since she returned from bathing his majesty during the day. She refused to talk to any of her colleague and Lady Annabelle saw the frightening look on her face when she arrived.

She wondered what took Tana so long after most of her mate had returned and she was the only one left in the Royal castle.

She wondered if the prince had also taken a liken for Tana as she was also a pretty human, just that she was slim figured and cute, unlike Angela that has a humongous sexy shape that is magnetizing even her fellow ladies eyes.

"Lora!, Stand up and pick Ten ladies to dish out the meals" Lady Annabelle Instructs as the rest of the ladies already arrived and took their respective seats, including Lady Mandy who sat on the deputy seat closer to hers.

Lora stood up and selected ten ladies as instructed. She and Tana were from the third to the last set captured and brought to the palace, but Lady Annabelle likes picking on the two of them and she didn't know why.

She stepped out and started dishing out all the food, while the rest of the ten ladies served it to the dinning tables, as usual.

Later the dinning hall fell in silence with only the sound of plates and spoon heard ad they eat their night meal in peace.

After their dinner in the dinning hall, Angela returned back to the chamber she shares with her colleagues. She had noticed slaves from the second set where the ones who washed the dishes while the third set washed the royal family clothes and did the serving if their meal in the women quarters dinning hall.

They were much, so the palace works were divided among themselves. She got into the chamber and Esther walks in to sit beside her on the bed, and she knew Esther loves gossips as she was the first to ask her about the labour house where she saw Alex and also ask her if he was her brother. She decided to lay her emotions low, remembering Lady Annabelle's warning, so she wouldn't cause any much trouble to Alex and having them think he was her brother, until she finally gets pregnant for him.
