my fate

My name is Satara I am 17 and my fate and future is that I will and have to serve the royals of my country.  Today I am going to be a servant because of my brother's deeds. I have been forced to do something against my will.

When you are chosen as a servant. You cannot get married or get pregnant or even get intimate with someone else. You may never know when a royal family gets bored, and he may need you.

" Do you have to go sister?" My little sister Lilly hugs me her tears making my dress wet.

"I have to lily or else you guys will be forced to go instead of me. I love you guys please be a good person."

I hug my little sister and my little brother who is silent the whole time cause he doesn't want to cry.

"Why do you have to be punished for something that was done by brother Cris? this is not fair" sam finally spoke with a teary voice.He was holding his voice so that I don't hear his sobbing sound.

"Well maybe this is my fate we cannot change fate can we?" "But promise me that you guys won't do something that will hurt you or others will you" I hugged them once more. I bit my lips so that tears won't fall from my eyes.

"Is this family drama finally done? Came out now you have to leave" the king's bodyguard came inside the room and picks up my bags. And he catches my arm forcing me to stand up and then he drags me outside. And pushes me inside the servant's carriage.

"Sister!" I hear the screams of my little brother and sister. Soon their voices disappear as the carriage starts walking. My heart thumps louder with the each jump of the carriage in the roads bumps.

Soon I feel asleep and in my dreams. I see the little me under a tree crying out loud in pain of my foot. An a angel helps me he carries me to my home and says that "You have a beautiful soul"

"Hey, you wake up! "

The dream of mine was broken. By a dark aged woman she was wearing a black long dress. Full sleeve with some white and brown patterns. Judging by her attire and the aura around her .

I guess she is the head of the servants.

"Your sleeping resting days are over. Stand up and follow me you have to get the tests " I was right she indeed is.

I followed her to a castle it was beautiful but it was screaming for me to stay away from there.

Should I run away. But where will I go I will be found out and then will be killed without any mercy.

Life sometimes sure can be unfair. Why am I even here what is my crime? Should I beg mercy to the king and tell him the truth but will anyone even believe it? I cannot do that I will have to follow what I am told.

I didn't dare to ask her what kind of tests, I was going to be through. I guess my voices have also got the hint that they do not deserve to be get out of my mouth.

We went inside the castle it was silvery white. The paintings were placed all over the hall. The head maid started to give me the introduction of the royals.

"This is prince Cerek our future king. From now on you will be serving him. His needs, even his desire you should do anything that he commands you. Even if it takes your own life or others"

I take a look at the painting of the man I was going to serve.  He was portrayed beautifully in the art. He had blue eyes a mole in his upper lip he was beautiful yet shown cold.

After that, I was taken to a room. Where old women wearing the traditional medical uniform were waiting. There were other girls beside me too.

Some of them were crying and getting dragged away by guards.

"If you are not fully pure then you are not able to live. You will be taken to the dungeon where you will be locked for the rest of your life"

The head maid whispered in my ear.

I was asked to undress. My hands automatically moved on their own. I was without clothes. Then I was asked to lie down where they perform many tests on my body.

My shame my pride my dreams are all gone away. Just like that. Then an old woman came closer to me she touch my lips.

"Have you ever kissed someone? or have you ever been intimate with someone?

I shared my head in no.

"Well if that's the case then eat this if you are not lying then there will be no harm"  she gave me a pill.

"If you are lying then you know what will happen to you will be much more than these other girls"

I ate the pill. It was bitter but I didn't make a disgusted face cause my face was paralysed by the fear.

After 5min I was officially chosen as the prince's servant.

I was given the maid's outfit. After being known with my room and the works and rules. I was told to help the prince get ready. I was given a big bowl where there were many flowers. Milk with saffron used for the prince princess

I knock on the door of the prince. "Come in " I gathered my breath.

don't disappoint him. I take a step inside the room it was huge and it was decorated with gold.

"Your my new servant aren't you?" I flinched after I heard that voice from my right side. I only nod my head.

"I guess you are taught about your work. Help me get ready." then her went to the bathroom. I followed him inside I was fully taught much likely warned what to do and what not to perform.

1st I have to underss him

2ndRub his body gently

3rd wash his hair.

I was replaying every thing I was told of as I got closer towards him.

"No need to undress me I can do that by myself"he told.

I only nod. In yes did I perhaps did something wrong.

He got undressed I kept my head down. After I heard a water splash I went closer towards the big bath tub.  I picked up the flower which will be used to rub his back.

"Start from my chest" he ordered. I again nodded in yes. I rubbed his chest with the flower. I made extra sure not to look at his highness face.  While rubbing his neck by some means my eyes met his eyes. It was blue like the deep ocean reflecting the sky. It stared me in my eyes like it was searching for it's own reflection.

I quickly looked away and went towards his back I cleaned it. It was neat white and there was a deep red scar. It looked unpleasantly painful.

"If you're wondering about the scar, I got it when I was at the war," he said with a soft tone. Oh no did I stared for too long, He actually spoke to me nicely.I haven't heard someone talk to me normally let along nicely once I entered this palace.

After the bath. I helped his highnes  get ready. Other we're also there to help him. I put the coat on him. And it was time for the star. The blue diamond shaped like a star.

He was tall so I had to raise my feet to match his height so that I can put the star on his neckband bone. His breath was warm I could feel his deep eyes piecring my ace. I could feel his stare on my face. I dare not to look at his face. And I wished he will stop staring at me.

I don't want to be noticed by him or even slightly get his curiosityn in me. After putting on his arm accessory. It was the time for his breakfast. I along with the other maids followed him to the palace dining hall.

I was walking behind the prince. Behind me there were soilders and at the side of his highness there were other soldiers. We reached the dining hall.

The hall was quite The Queen and the king were also going to be at the table. Prince Cerek also took his seat after him his brother Prince Derek and Sebastian sat next to his seat. The princess Lily also sat next to prince Sebastian.

"Good morning brother " prince Derek greeted Prince Cerek.

"Good morning derek"

"I heard you have a new servant brother. Heard that she is a beauty and a criminal"

My heart stopped beating after the words of prince Sebastian.

"Where is she?" Princess lily was asking for me.

I want to die I am here for something I didn't even did. Only if I could shout this sentence out loud.

"Quiet. The King and the queen are arriving"

Everyone stood up. Still I can feel the staring of prince Derek and Prince Cerek.

After the king and the queen took a sit the king commands everyone to sit.

The King touches the fork and then every maid starts to serve there respectives.

I begin to serve prince Cerek.

"So it was you. Well you are much more prettier than the rumors. But are you more cruel than the rumors or your just a scape goat" prince Sebastian wishpers it could be clearly heard by prince Cerek and prince Derek.

I dare not to uttered a word or to even look at him.

"Sebastian why don't you eat and just mind your own work and stop harrasing a poor maid" prince Derek says.

I can feel the eyes of prince Cerek on me. Again the same way as in the bathroom.
