A visit to the lower realm

Siverra stood at the entrance of his home. He gazed at his two children, Bubbles and Rainbow, who looked up at him with their big, innocent eyes, filled with curiosity and worry. He knew he had to leave them for a short while to check on Jeran, and ensure that he was safe.

He took a deep breath and cleared his throat, "I'll be back soon you two. Remember, if anyone comes by, hide. I know you are both strong, but we don't know the strengths of these gods that are wandering." Siverra explained cautiously, his voice laced with concern.

"Okay.." Bubbles responded, pouting as she realized that her dad was going to leave them again. Rainbow, on the other hand, had tears in her eyes, and her voice quavered as she asked, "Are you going to be gone for long, dad?"

Siverra knelt down and wrapped his arms around both his children, "I'll be back very soon, just be safe, okay?" He looked at them with a reassuring smile, but deep down, his heart was heavy with worry.
