Chapter 3

Taylor's POV...

I woke up to see that it's 10:30AM. Wow, thankfully it's Saturday, so I don't have to panic about being late for school or whatever. I crawl out of bed, seeing that Eleanor's bed is all tidy, which meant that she had woke up earlier before me. Well, she's always been the early bird after all. Me? I'm sleeping beauty.

I walk out of our room to see Eleanor eating eggs and bacons. Mom will be out for a few hours, so that leaves the two of us alone.

"Morning sis! Did you sleep well?" Eleanor ask before pouring a cup of tea for both of us.

"Pretty much," I answer while going to the kitchen to get eggs and bacons. After that, I came back from the kitchen and sit next to my sister. The room was filled with silence before Eleanor decides to say something.

"So, Joey called me this morning. He told me that he's going to pick us up at 2PM," Eleanor says before taking a sip of her tea.

"What? Pick us up for what?" I ask in shocked. This is so sudden, I didn't remember having any sudden plans on a Saturday.

"Umm..the movies! We promised to watch that new horror movie together today," Eleanor states, before putting her cup of tea down.

"Ahh I completely forgot," I reply to my sister, while having my right hand in my forehead. We've been talking about that movie for days, and I totally forgot! Wow, what's been in my head lately?

1:25PM, Taylor and Eleanor's room....

I'm waiting for Eleanor to finish brushing her hair. While waiting, I decided to look at a few photos of me, Eleanor, and Joey together, on my phone. For today, I'm wearing a black tee shirt, combined with short jeans. I like to keep my look casual, while Eleanor, prefers a cuter yet simple style at the same time.

"Nice photo," Eleanor says from behind me. I didn't notice that she had finished brushing her hair and dressing up. For today, Eleanor's wearing a white t-shirt with a black heart print in front, combined with black pants.

"Yes," I reply while looking at my twin sister. She smiles at me, and then had her eyes back to my phone.

"Honestly...I don't even know what's going on these past few months. But to be honest, Joey has grown to look very fine," Eleanor says, making me look at her with a certain look. Of course it's obvious! Joey's a good looking guy! It wasnt a surprise to hear Eleanor actually admited that he looks fine. Well, he's not really the guy with the "hot bad boy" image, but he's pretty good looking in his own unique way. He's sweet, caring, to top that, he's also smart, fun, has the softest lips ever..wait, what am I thinking?

"Do you like him?" I ask my twin sister, while raising one of my eyebrow. Eleanor smiles at me. She looks down a bit, before looking back at me again.

"You think?" she answers while smiling.

It didn't take long for Joey to arrive at our house to pick us up. We sit on the backseat together, since his father is driving us. On the road, I can feel the awkward moment between us. Joey was trying to look normal in front of us, while I spent most of my time just looking at other directions. Thankfully, we finally arrive at the cinema.

"Well..I bought tickets," Joey says, handing us the tickets, one for each person.

"Let's get some popcorn and drinks before the movie starts!" Joey adds. Me and Eleanor nodded in agreement.

The movie begins with a group of friends talking. Not long after, one of them got attacked by a zombie, and so the others tries to find a way to survive. I felt some scenes were quite disturbing. Eleanor even closed her eyes at some parts, since they were..well, too disturbing. Joey almost chocked on his popcorns, while me...I eventually got bored and fell asleep. Well, maybe because I had a pretty hard time sleeping last night? Because of the accidental kiss between me and Joey. Ugh, why am I even still thinking about that? After about 1 hour and 48 minutes, the movie ends and Joey's dad drives us back home. I can't wait to sleep earlier tonight!

"Thanks for today Joey," Eleanor says to Joey, before giving him a hug.

"No problem, El," he replies as he hugs her back. They finish their embrace and looks at me as if I just forgot something important.

"Um..Tay?" Eleanor calls me while raising one of her eyebrow.

I look at her in confuse and ask back.

"What?"

"You're not gonna say thank you or goodbye to Joey?" she ask with a smirk. Oh great, I must have spaced out again that I forgot to thank our best friend for today. I lean closer to Joey and gave him a hug.

"Thanks Joey! And..bye!" I say to him while closing my eyes. I really didn't want to have any eye contact right now. He hugged me back, before both of us letting go. Eleanor and I watched as he enters his car, and leaves.
