chpter 3

as i woke up from the last day's experience got off my bed and walked to the door of my room and opened it. from there i proceeded to walk down the stair to the site of Lilia preparing the table for breakfast. "Lilia sensei", Rin i told you countless times that i am not your teacher. may i get a proper explanation as to why Lilia-sen... Lilia-san.

Rin i am the maid of your parents meaning that you should have more authority in the house than i should, which by default makes it more proper for you to chase your mother as a teacher rather than me. Lilia responded to my question with absolute calmness and a poker face that will take hard work and dedication to get off her. 

Lilia-sensei that is no reason i am willing to accept, i said with a poker face that was wielded through numerous lifetime. it even got Lilia to flinch a little, you are the best in the household at numerous things i will like to learn. so common sense will have me learn from you and not from somebody like Paul.

really?, Lilia got her calmness back, but she was still a little shocked by the tune that made every thing i said sound like undisputable fact. then can you tell me what is it that i am more skilled at than Zenith, Lilia responded.

well let's begin with, i had a foolish grin splattered on my face as i continued to answer Lilia's question. firstly you are better than mommy at cooking, it's not like she is bad, but it's incomparable to your level. second you seem to be more experienced with lady edicates, and also every house chore you make is perfectly done, in comparison to Mommy that is not as much experienced.

and also the most important part- Rin-Sama i think you should stop, what why Lilia looked behind me at a person i didn't notice until this very moment. Rin~ that voice it solely belonged to one person and that person should have not heard the current conversation.

as i looked to my back i saw a terrifying person standing behind me. bad at laundry ha Rin, what are you talking about you most have misheard or something mommy!~. no i think i have heard you perfectly well, Zenith said while raising her hands to the top of her head. 

come here you little brat, you won't catch me i am as fast as lightning. Zenith sama please stop running around the place, don't think you can get away yourself Lilia. wait what!!, Lilia shouted in surprise before Zenith caught her in her ribs and started to tickle her causing Lilia to start laughing hard.

 but all of that was irrelevant since i managed to get away from the terrifying monster that took the skin of my mother. those were the last things i thought of before Zenith reached her hand around my weist and raised me with one of her hands. then she started to tickle me, i couldn't control my laughter and laugh out loud at the top of my lungs

as Zenith was torturing me I saw a line of hope a person that could save me from my anguish. that person was named Rudeus, my useless little brother could finally be productive.

what are you all doing? Rudeus asked with a dead pan face. Ham, Zenith coughed in to her wrist, we aren't doing anything Rudeus call your father we are having breakfast. ok then !? i will call father to come downstairs so we can start eating. great Rudeus i will be internally grateful for the save. 

Zenith's POV:

to be honest i am very grateful that i have such a mindful daughter, i have been noticing that Lilia have been having terrible self estimate issue and always thought of herself as a lesser member of the household. i tried to talk to her more that she will feel more comfortable, but it seems it always doesn't work. and from the interactions that she and Paul were having i guessed that they have had interactions before she moved in as a maid.

Rin always treated Zenith in a weird way that didn't make a hole lot of sense, but since the worst it has ever done was a bit of bother Lilia i didn't pay it much attention. Until this morning when i woke up i heard that Lilia and Rin were talking about something, i walked closer to hear what they were talking about. 

and i noticed that Rin found out i was there, but she didn't say anything about it, i noticed my name being mentioned in the conversation. from what i had gather on the conversation they were talking on the reasons Rin treated Lilia like a teacher / rule model when she was our maid. 

as she talked i got a little ticked off, Rin was using me as a comparison model to improve Lilia's self-esteem. first she insulted my cooking, but then she said that i don't know how to take care of the house, fine then let's see you taking care of a two-story house an adult and two children yes i have help in the form of Lilia, but it's still tasking. Rin seemed to be getting too comfortable with her insults so i had to step in to humble her down to her, with the Almighty weapon of tickles. 

after that embarrassing act i got caught in by my youngest child, i saw that Lilia's situation got overall better. Which got me to think more, am i really that bad that when i get used as a compression tool it improves people's self-esteem

shifting back to Rin's POV

after we ate breakfast Rudeus left to read he's book again and i watch Paul as he trained in the garden. as Paul was training i started to wonder, when will i start training. you see, usually in my loops what i do is train in magic growing my reserves and then at the age of four i will ask Paul to train me in the arts.

but no rudeus is already training and i feel like i am being left behind so i want to start training at a younger age. and also in this loop my reserves are weaker than usual, you see at all the last loops i was a twin to a still born so i got bigger MANA reserves then usual and also i got to grow my reserves from a very young age typically at my first month being alive. but i couldn't do the same in this loop since if i will channel my magic i will both get spotted by Rudeus and by Lilia that is more cautious than in the usual loops due to my brother 

as i looked at Paul out of nowhere a water ball fell on his head, if i didn't see it incorrect it came from the balcony where Rudeus was reading the magic book from the chest he opened. i got a little interested in what he was doing and walked all the way up to the balcony to see what he was doing, and there i saw him sitting down below the window hiding from the view of Paul.

what are you doing in there Rudeus, i asked him a question to make him aware that i was here. who is it, Rudeus asked with great alarm on his face but when he saw but when he noticed that it was just little old me he relaxed his nerves. it's just you, what are you doing here little girl go pester someone else i am not in the mood to entertain you. he said while shooing me away from the balcony, how rude of you i am older than you in two minutes so you have to of respect me at the very least. 

Listen kid i am not in the mood right now so go away or i will have to be physical, he threatened me. you're physically did you not hear me i am older than you, i am biological superior to you at the moment so you better humble yourself fast, or it's going to get dirty. i didn't want to result to it kid, but you leave me with no choice other than that, he said while walking to my way. he reached his had to my weist intending to carry me out of the room by force.

but i didn't intend for it to happen so i used every force in my body to make sure that he didn't move me an inch i even had to use Toki for the first time to make sure that my body doesn't move not even a little. what is this why is a one-year-old child so heavy, Rudeus exhaled i exhaustion. just as rudeus was going to take a small break i grabbed his arm pushed him on the floor and sat on his back to seal any movement that he may have committed.

and as i sat on his back i looked at the face he was making in satisfaction, Rudeus call me your big brother from now on is it understood. yes, yes! just release me, what have i said you should call me. please release me Oni-Chan
