[Chapter 133] The Rumors Have Begun

I enter my house as Blossom enters behind me, my shadow soldiers already starting to build the wall. Their purple silhouettes carry rocks of all sorts as they place them down and begin to cut them into bricks before placing them on the edge of the plain.

I walk forward as I enter the living room to see Winter cleaning it up. She has a circular pad on her hand as she runs it over the furniture, a clean spot being made wherever it once was. After the adventurers entered, they were severely wounded so them not causing a mess would be a miracle.

I lean on the doorway as I watch her beautiful figure clean the couch. Her tail and ears move about as she does, her tail wagging happily as she does so. I smiles as I look at her beautiful face, her amber eyes shining in the light as she glances over at me.

Seeing I have her attention, I quickly say, "We're gonna be going back to the kingdom in 10 minutes, that alright with you?"

She nods as she continues to clean the couch, the small circular pad in her hand making a small whirring sound. "It's fine with me, but why? We just got here?"

I look at her with a smile on my face. "I have the academy entrance exams coming up while you have classes, plus, I want to teach a king a lesson."

'I know he was thinking of my future, but what he has done is inexcusable, locking Dreag up in that dungeon. I doubt even I could get out of it without the system.' I think as I imagine what is going to happen as my smile grows slightly bigger.

She nods as an angry look forms in her eyes, "I want to make that king pay for what he did to you, but I know better than declaring war on a kingdom until we get the forces to be equally matched to it. They have a divine beast of their own after all along with an army, and she is higher ranked than you so we shouldn't be rash."

I nod, "I am going to try and continue figuring out my soul ability as it is very confusing." I get up and begin to walk towards the kitchen, but before I can, she runs up and kisses me on the cheek before running back to continue her cleaning.

Me, Blossom, and Slime Winter enter the warehouse as I look at a hologram on the wall named 'Soul Capabilities.' Underneath it, there are lists, equations, different types of equipment, and a diagram of the wisp in the top right corner.

Blossom lays down beside me as she stares up at the board nonchalantly, licking her fur from time to time as her scaled feet flex, their lizard like appearance reminding you that she is no regular cat. Her 6ft tall figure lays down as she reaches my stomach in height, her 8 ft long body sprawling across the floor.

"So from what I have, they can be injected into single piece objects to take in mana, but if it has multiple pieces, then it won't work and the soul will just disperse. It can be used as an energy source but I have yet to find out how to make them into a large energy source. I have tried many things but have come up with nothing, even trying to put them in a mana crystal."

I look at the board while I mess with the kunai in my hand, twirling it around on my finger. I stop as I suddenly speak a few words, "Hi Erika, what do you need?"

No one speaks as the warehouse hums with the life of technology. I sigh as I look over at a shadow, "Don't make me throw my knife at you, because many would miss, but I won't. I can sense you so come out." A few moments later, the shadows shift as a cloaked figure walks out, her short figure and white snout giving her a childlike appearance.

She looks around as she inwardly sighs, "I can never hide from you. You would definitely make a good assassin or bodyguard if you wanted to."

I nod but speak with slight irritation in my voice, "I know, you have been saying that since you first entered, your lucky that I gave you entry permissions or you would of been shredded by my defenses. So what is it that you want?"

She speaks again, her high pitched voice contrasting with her mature attitude, "I just want to let you know the king and queen are thankful for saving their daughter, when she entered she told him about what happened and told me to send this message."

I glance over at her, "So that's why I felt your presence hop on my back before I took off. I said nothing as I knew you were hidden for a reason. Anyway, was that it because me and Winter are heading back to the other realm for a while."

She goes to answer me when she suddenly pulls out a stone from her pocket and holds it up to her ear. While silently listening, she glances at me every now and then with different emotions conflicting in her eyes while her face stays the same. After a moment, she puts it away and looks at me with the still same calm look.

"I originally came here for a weapon seeing I'm one of the only royals that know of your business, the king's request was given while I was coming here. Anyway, apparently there is a Church of Creation goer saying that he had an encounter with the lord, that he is righteous and treated him with kindness. Having the ability to make powerful relics from shadows and souls, what did you do?"

I laugh as I look back at the board, "Just ask him yourself. Anyway, Winter and me are leaving and I have removed your permissions since I won't be here. I'll make you a weapon before I leave but remember, I don't work for free."
