Abby's POV.
2 months later...…
"it's a beautiful day to behold" I snuggled with a cup of ginseng tea in my hand as I stood close to my window with my gaze all over the place.
The fact that Jack and I have been together for close to three months without having any arguments or issues was one thing that brought joy into my heart.
I took a sip of tea from the glass cup in my hand and the refreshing feeling I felt after wards was so good that I wished to have more from it.
I heaved a sigh with my gaze still placed outside the window. I was still watching what was happening around me when suddenly, I saw a bus filled with lots of luggage coming into our streets slowly.
"A new neighbor, huh? The kind that wouldn't mind their business I guess" I hissed as I took a gulp from my tea and swallowed it peacefully.
I hated neighbors that would never mind their business. They would always want to come over to your place to act all cool and pretend to be nice, so they could make their way into your heart.
I could recall having an experience with a man called Nathan. He was nice and all sweet.
He brought me cookies and I really enjoyed his company until one day, he came into my house very late at night.
He had kept on panting like someone was chasing him around the place, and it was raining heavily that night.
I wondered and asked him severally what was happening, but he wouldn't respond to me immediately.
He kept his eyes placed all over the place as his cheeks blanched with fear.
I held him tight and tried my best to soothe him, so he wouldn't run into my room like an insane person.
After few minutes, he became calm, and I decided to serve him tea.
I made a hit tea in the kitchen and brought it to him in the sitting room but to my greatest surprise, he was all stacked.
I paused for a minute as I was still gawked at the view of what was before me.
"Are you okay?" I scrutinized still wondering if he had a mental issue before bumping into my house.
"I just want you Abby, you've been on my mind lately, and I can't just seem to take you out of it" He exposed his intentions as he tried coming close to where I was standing.
"Stay still and if you come close to me, I will make sure you won't survive this day" I warned with my hands trembling.
He wouldn't still listen to what I had to say to him. He kept on coming closer than he should, and it made me panic.
He was going to touch me and I just couldn't stand still and watch him take a chance at that either.
"Stay away from me and trust me I wouldn't warn you again!!" blurted out with fear in my heart.
I never knew that he was a stalker and had kept on monitoring me all these while.
"I love you Abby" He stepped forward with his erected dick pointing towards my direction.
He came closer to me and was about placing his hand my shoulder, but I couldn't let him.
I raised the cup of tea in my hand and swung my hand towards the direction of his head and without hesitation, I heard a shattering sound as the glass fell to the ground.
I opened my eyes and saw the young man on the floor with blood dripping from his head and his face all red.
"Nathan? Nathan, are you okay?" I inquired as I used my feet to shake his body.
"He is unconscious??" I asserted as I panted like I was about to be killed.
I couldn't take him to the hospital because it was going to attract silly questions from the cops,, so I bent over and carried him out of my house. I actually dragged him out.
I took him to the front of his door and since it was late, no one had seen me in the act.
The next morning, I was expecting to still see him laid on the front of his door, but he was nowhere to be found.
Days passed, and I still couldn't find him. I was persuaded to go inquire about his whereabouts and to my surprise, he wasn't seen or heard from for so long.
I realized that he moved out the night after the incident happened between us, and it made me wonder if he had actually moved into the neighborhood just because of me.
Since then, whenever I see a new neighbor moving into the neighborhood, I act like they were not humans and I tend to give them a long distance to avoid silly relationships.
I kept on staring at the bus endlessly until it finally passed my door post without stopping.
From the lots of things that was behind the bus, it was obvious that the new neighbor was going to be that way, just like Nathan.
I finally poured the last drop of my tea into my mouth before dropping my cup on the table.
I made my way to the bathroom to go get ready to leave for the school. Kay was in charge, but that didn't mean that I wasn't going to accept fate the way it came to me.
I hurriedly showered as I felt the sweet feeling from the water that had kept on running from my hair to my body.
Soon enough, I was through and ready to leave the house. I got dressed in my Red suit, but this time, it didn't remind me of Alex. It reminded me of Jack since I was putting it on the first day I met him.
"Silly boy, huh?" I chortled when I recalled that very day inside the bus and how he had kept on acting like he was never going to talk to a clumsy lady like me.
I took out the red suit and wore it with a look of friendliness on my face. I was glad that I had met someone like him and not like Alex,, although I missed the good Sex we had back then.
"Ready to leave now!!" I beamed cheerfully as I dashed out of my house without looking back.
I got to the highway and had to stop a vehicle that would take me to the school. I was delighted when I saw one and without delay, I climbed into it.
"The Perusia university" I clarified to the driver and as I was still well seated, he turned on the engines of the vehicle and zoomed out of sight.
After few minutes, I got to the school building. I walked into the hallway and the way students had kept on looking at me, it made me wonder if I was actually at the right school.
They had kept a gaze which made me give coming to school a second thought.
They passed by me acting all weird and had kept on muttering among themselves, so I wouldn't get to hear anything.
For the first time coming to school, I felt darkly and regretful for showing up. I was really excited knowing that I was going to show up in school, but their attitudes kept making me feel cheerless.
I reached for my office door and when I opened it, I was gloomy to even do anything inside the office.
It wasn't just my office but the junior staff's office.
They were all astonished to see me inside the same office with them knowing that I was a senior staff in the school.
"This will not be fun I guess" I asserted as I walked over to my seat.
I sat down there as I stared endlessly at the lot of work or files I had on my desk. They were all handed over to me by Kay and I knew she did it out of a wicked intention.
I couldn't hold my anger in anymore as I saw more files being sent to my desk.
I wasn't through with the ones age gave to me and here she was, sending more files to my desk.
I stood up from my seat and walked frantically to her office or my former office. I wasn't waiting to knock on her door, so I bashed into it as I boiled in anger.
"And what do I owe this visit, Abby? Don't you see that I have countless works to do too?" She said out with a smirk on her face.
"You what? Are you insane ?" I queried as I furiously dropped the files on her desk.
"You have no respect for your seniors, right?" I turned when I suddenly heard a ladies voice from behind.
"Kate?" I mumbled looking astonished.
"Oh, Jack's mistress" She blurted out like she was surprised to see me.
"Don't you dare Call me that?" I warned as I tightened my grip on my dress.
"Or else what, Abby? Seeing you, it's obvious you have no power in this school any more Abby" She clarified with a beaming look on her face.
"You look happy, huh?" I stated and was about walking out when I realized that the argument between us was amounting to something different.
I got to the door and was about leaving before I got stopped by Kay's statement which tore me apart.
"You are fired Abby!" she announced with a compelling and dominant tone which made me wonder how she got such right to fire me.
I turned halfway with my left sided face being exposed to her glare.
"You might have taken away my position Kay, but trust me… I will come back for it" I asserted before I slammed the door behind me.
