Sitting and waiting for Jack in his office for so long was one thing I disliked.
I looked at my wrist to check the time and I realized that he was already an hour late to work.

All these silly insults were just because of Alex. Assuming he had told me on time that he wasn't interested in me, I would have surely backed out than being convinced that I was going to get married to him soon.
"Abby?" Jack interrupted my thoughts as he pulled me out of his grip which I was actually enjoying.
"I am fine Jack" I lied as I feigned a smile on my face.
"I need to go attend to them now okay. But I won't accept her husband into my company" He asserted clearly without a conviction to accept Kate's husband.
"But why? Did he offend you?" I asked looking confused.
"He didn't Abby but anyone who hurts my woman, hurts me and everyone who is around such person gets hurt too" He mentioned as he grabbed his coat that was on his couch.
"Are you for real?" I gripped his wrist as I tried stopping him for doing such to Felix.

"They deserve it" He sashes out of his office frantically without listening to what I had to say to him.
"if Felix doesn't get accepted into the company, Kate might get furious and would want to revenge" I said out, but it was already late.
Jack wasn't in his office to listen to me anymore.
