Day Four

<p>March 8th,2007<br/>FBI Jet, in the air over Georgia<br/>"There is no trust more sacred than the one the world holds with children. Secretary-General Kofi Annan, Untied Nations<br/><br/>Morgan shifted in his seat and looked around the jet at his fellow agents, before picking up a photo of Zackary Collins.<br/>"Why kids?" He finally said.<br/>"Statistically"Reid spoke up,"kids are some of the easiest targets of violent crime; kids who are considered different from their peers,raise that percentage, even more, they are often loners and most likely to be by themselves... and more likely to gravitate to an adult they can relate to who they feel understands them."<br/>"I was being rhetorical Reid,"Morgan pointed out<br/>"Right, sorry"<br/>"Anyways, I've been pouring over these, one of the kids was in foster care, one was in foster care from six months to a year old and was adopted just before his first birthday, and the other four kids came from stable homes," Prentiss spoke up<br/>"Stable in the sense that they had a place to live,"JJ pointed out"from what friends and relatives have told the police, none of them really came from happy homes, Tim Delgado was the exception to that, but his school life easily countered his protective and well-balanced home life."She paused and laid three photos out on the table,"Tommy Newton was 10,he's the oldest of the victims, according to his father, they had an argument which was a daily occurence and he took off."<br/>"What was the argument about?"<br/>"Sports,"JJ said, "apparently Mr. Newton wanted Tommy to join the soccer team and Tommy took off to avoid the argument and criticism escalating any further."<br/>"He was found partially buried in the forest?" Reid noted looking over the report.<br/>"Laying near a big tree, the hikers didn't even see him until their dog rushed over."JJ said softly<br/>"The other non-foster care victims beside Zackary Collin and Tommy Newton; was 8-year old Michael Jones. No one connected him to the other victims at first," Hotch called across the jet.<br/>"He came from a happy family, with two devoted parents,one younger brother with whom he was very close to,by all appearances a very happy 8-year old." JJ read from the file,<br/>"If he was happy then what, he made a mistake? Snatched the wrong kid?"Morgan asked confused.<br/>"No one could give police anything concrete that put Zackary Collin in the same category as the other victims. It wasn't until they finally talked to the little brother, apparently Michael's school life wasn't as happy and cut and clean as his home life. He was bullied by his classmates and humiliated by them on more than one occasion." Prentiss read from the file.<br/>"Where was the school in all this?" Morgan asked, JJ sighed and shrugged,<br/>"Apparently, they weren't aware of the teasing, Michael never complained to anyone except his brother. So, no one knew there was an issue" She said. Reid shook his head, clearing his thoughts.<br/>"No matter how the educational system changes and grows, one thing will alway stay the same, the constant need of kids to torment each other,"Rossi noted; everyone nodded in agreement.<br/>A few moments of silence passed between the agents, when suddenly, Reid's phone went off, he picked it up and flipped it open.<br/>"Spencer Reid...yes...yes I'll call you when I get there." Reid hung up his phone and looked at everyone, who was staring at him a little confused. Reid could see that Morgan was about to ask him something before JJ's phone went off and it saved him from having to answer Morgan's question,but the bad news was that another child was just reported missing, a ten-year old boy. He was last seen running from the playground of Adams Elementary school, after getting into a fight with his classmates. Morgan,Reid,and Prentiss all exchanged a look, they all looked over at Hotch and Rossi, who looked at one another,JJ, however took a deep breath before continuing,"Guys... this boy is the nephew of Captain Stevenson, the head of detective on the case; who just arrested someone named Severus Prince."Morgan had looked at Reid to see his friend look pale and very worried, he vowed to ask Reid when they were in the car about whether he knew this Severus Prince guy.</p>
