Team Up

Naruto asked Shikamaru to start an investigation into the infiltration and Sasuke left to find the person that infiltrated the village. Naruto turns around to ask Merlin to wait in the office but when he looked back she was gone. Naruto ran out of the room and headed to the streets to find Merlin.

Meanwhile, Merlin was walking around the streets exploring the Hidden Leaf. She saw kids laughing and playing and people talking, working, and walking.

Merlin:"This world is a surprisingly beautiful place."

She kept on exploring and after a few minutes, she saw a shadow of 3 people jumping on the roofs of the buildings.

Merlin:"Looks like I found you."

She follows them to one of the rooftops of the buildings where they stopped. She teleports behind them and touched one of the person's shoulders.

Merlin:"I didn't think I would catch you so quickly."

The guy was surprised and jumped back and fell to the ground.

???:"Oww. Who the hell are you?!"

Merlin was surprised when she saw they were children. She walked forward to help the boy up when suddenly two snakes slithered in front of the boy and a boy with pale skin and blue hair appeared.

???:"Don't come closer without answering the question."

???:"Mitsuki relax. This woman might not be a threat."

Mitsuki:"It's okay to be cautious Boruto."

Merlin:(Boruto?)" I see. So you're the leader's son?"

Boruto:"Yeah. What's it to you?"

Mitsuki:(I can't sense any chakra coming from this woman. There's no way she doesn't have it otherwise how else could she have gotten to us.) "Be careful Boruto. She might be dangerous."

Merlin smiled

Merlin:"I see one of you have quite the mind. You're correct I am dangerous but I'm not the one you should be against. Let's start from the beginning. My name is Merlin."

Mitsuki:"I've never seen you here before. Where are you from?"

Merlin:"That's a long story which unfortunately I don't have time to answer as there is a bit of a problem at the moment."

Boruto:"Why? What happened?"

Merlin:"Someone has infiltrated this place and I'm currently looking for them."

Both Boruto and Mitsuki looked shocked.

Boruto:"What do you mean someone infiltrated the village?"

Merlin:"Earlier on I was with the leader of this place and two others. Their names were Naruto, Sasuke, and Shikamaru."

Boruto:"Dad?"

Merlin:"Yes, you look just like him so I'm not surprised he's your father anyway while we were discussing a man ran in screaming "The village was infiltrated before his head blew up right in front of our eyes. Now there's an investigation as to the whereabouts of these infiltrators."

Mitsuki took his snakes back.

Mitsuki:"I see but then why did you come to us?"

Merlin:"While I was walking I saw three shadows on the rooftops so I assumed it was the people who infiltrated the village."

Boruto:"I see."

Merlin:"Though where is the third one I saw?"

Boruto:"Oh that was Shikadai. He had to leave so he went a different direction."

Merlin:"I see but how did you kids get up here? It's very high yet you all seem to not find it difficult to climb up here."

Boruto:"We just used our chakra to climb the walls."

Merlin:"Chakra?"

Boruto:"It's the energy inside us or something. It lets us use our jutsu."

Merlin remembers her fight with Sasuke and understood what he meant.

Merlin:"I see s-"

Before Merlin spoke Mitsuki interrupted.

Mitsuki:"Now that we're on the topic of chakra I must ask if you yourself have chakra as I can't sense any from you."

Merlin was silent for a few seconds before she smiled

Merlin:"What do you want me to do to prove it?"

Mitsuki:"Let's try something simple. Try to walk on the wall."

Merlin:"Walk on the wall?"

Boruto:"Yeah. Like this."

Boruto started walking on the side of the large building.

Merlin:"Oh I see."

Merlin stood on the edge before placing her foot on the side and she was standing on the side of the wall.

Boruto:"See Mitsuki. She does have Chakra."

Merlin was using her ability of flight to make it seem she was standing on the wall.

Mitsuki:(I still can't sense anything. Something's off.)"Alright. I believe you."

Merlin:"Would you two like to help out with my investigation as I'm not very familiar with this place."

Boruto:"Sure."

Mitsuki:"If Boruto is helping then I'll join in as well."

Boruto:"Let's go find these infiltrators!"

Merlin:(Looks like that boy still doesn't trust me. Compared to the Hokage's son he seems to be smarter compared to Boruto. Looks like I need to be careful with what I do from here on. I don't need to take more attention than necessary.)
