New Begining!

She dusted her pants and went on walking. She came across a bookshop and decided to walk in. She loves window shopping. She knew very well that the books inside the bookshop are expensive and she won't be able to buy them.

She was looking through the bookshelves for any new arrivals. When she saw her best romance writers who have worked on some good novels again.

She was excited but sad at the same time that she won't be able to buy them until some three months to come when someone would have gotten rid of them and they will be sold in the streets at a throwaway price.

"Can I help you?" Asked the sales lady who looked at her in dismay. She didn't need to question why she was looking at her like that because she knew why

"I was inquiring about the new novels by this writer?" Asked Dee showing him the novel she had.

The sales lady looked at the book that seemed to be old and had lost its value except for the words inside that had value.

"We are expecting them next week," said the lady while giving her back the book.

"Okay, next week it is," Dee replied joyfully and strolled out.

She hadn't window shopped in these sides of the city so she doesn't know where to go and where not to go. She walked briskly and stood next to a fashion shop that sold newly arrived clothes. She wanted to move in but she saw guards everywhere standing. The people who were moving in and out of the store were dressed expensively and she didn't see any person like her walk in the shop.

She turned and used the other passage to get home.

Arriving at home, her parents were not around and her sister hasn't arrived from her work. 'She probably wouldn't,' she thought to herself knowing her sister every well. She rarely came home and her parents were tired of reprimanding her every day to come home.

The first time she failed to come home was when she was sixteen, she had slept at her boyfriend's house and didn't care about it.

Dee has never slept outside. She always makes sure she comes home every day and helps out. She understands her sister.

Fern has always wanted a lavish life, she started using lipstick when she was ten and had her first boyfriend at eleven. When she was eighteen, she managed to get her first car from a rich boyfriend. She gave the car to her parents when she got a new one.  She is always attending expensive parties and wearing expensive dresses. She was once selected by one of the famous actors to be his date, she has modelled for some companies. She always says she is a free bird and wants to do what she wants. Dee supports her because if she fails she always thinks Dee wants to be in her place.

Dee settled her handbag on the kitchen counter, she fed the cat and the dog before making herself some coffee to accompany her while watching some episodes of 'House Wives.'

She got a text from her father confirming that they won't make it home because they missed the train and would be sleeping at their aunts. She made something small for her supper.

After supper, she picked up her diary that she hadn't picked for quite some time and wrote in it.

"New Beginning For Better!" She looked.
