DAY TWO: Apologize with something she loves

Edith arrives ad the dinner earlier to prepare everything before other people arrive. To her surprise, the dinner was already opened. She panicked when she saw the door swinging. She thought that many someones had gotten in and thought of robbing the furniture and maybe some cooking equipment, he won't get money because she always takes the money with her home and deposits them in the morning when she comes to her dinner.

She carefully walked and got in through the back door. Too bad, the back four wasn't open yet, "fuck!" She muttered and went to the front door. She tried as quickly as she can to open the door but the bell at the door dinged and it betrayed her.

Peeping inside, all the seats were at their place just the way she left them yesterday. She got inside and was surprised to see that the tables were neatly wiped and coffee was ready and some few early birds were sitting at their booths drinking plain coffees.

She wondered to herself asking who had come in early today and decided to serve the customers without a leading her. Checking around, she spotted Dee at the booth near the washroom taking an order.

"It will be ready sir," said Dee and walked away.

"Edith," she called once she saw her friend at the counter standing amazed.

"You came in early today Dee, why didn't you tell me?" Asked Edith surprised by how she was dressed today.

She had worn, a man in jeans denim pants, a mustard sweatshirt and black converse and red lipstick on her lips. To say she looked amazing was an understatement. She looked absolutely beautiful and stunning. Her curly buns were tied into a neat burn. Edith had never seen her look that way. She often wore shakily and never cared about her looks, but today she looked different.

"Edith, is everything okay?" Asked Dee waving the table clothe in front of her.

"You look Amazing Dee, did something happen?" Asked Edith.

"No, I just decided to concentrate on myself little," said Dee.

Edith doubted this, she knew that Dee overheard the conversation between her and the four gentlemen and that might be the reason why she changed today.  She hopes that she has changed for good and she won't go back suckling about her situation.

"If that's so Dee, let's get to work. Is Marcos around?" Asked Edith.

"Yeah, he is preparing meals for the customers." Said Dee as she went to the kitchen.

Customers started popping in and Dee was enthusiastic and fast as never before. She hasn't complained of being tired. She worked today diligently making Edith happy about her change.

She took her break and went to read her novel that she was only remaining with four chapters. She wondered what she would do when waiting for the other three months so that she can get the new novels from the classics. Then she got an idea, "it won't be wrong to write some reviews about the hooks I have read," she thoughts to herself.
