Dropping And Beginning The Operation

Allana was speechless, to say the least. It did make sense. How else was one supposed to react after seeing their creations brought to life? Then a wave of displeasure washed over her. Maybe if she had wished for this before, she would be much happier.

"Hi, Allana! Why'd you finally consider summoning me?" Allegra asked enthusiastically, unaware of Allana's plight.

"You're real?" Allana blurted out, shocked.

"Of course, I am! All your creations are very much real."

"That's impossible, though. Fictional characters can't come to life!"

"But you're the heir of Starfallen because you have this special ability of achieving anything with your creation," Allegra added, dementing Allana even more.

"Hold on. What!?" Allana screeched, earning shouts from her lovely parents to shut up.

"I should be saying that! How do you not know any of this?"

"What do you mean!? How was I supposed to know?"

"Your foster parents were supposed to tell you, but they didn't, so I will. You're the heir of Starfallen, and a descendant of Genesis, which gives you the ability to create whatever you wish, and not just in the form of writing," Allegra explained, though Allana could sense a bit of anger in her tone.

"Oh, uh, okay." Allana nodded, not wanting to upset Allegra even more. "So who were my real parents?"

"No one could figure that out, yet. I'm sorry." Allegra cast her a sympathetic look. "Are you okay?"

"As fine as I could be after hearing my ancestors are one of the greatest mages." Allana shrugged, and Allegra smiled faintly, still concerned.

Allana heard a soft gasp, and looked up. It was a thin and pretty redhead with green eyes as prepossessing as emeralds themselves. She was freckled and sophisticated as well.

It was the one and only Freya: Allegra's best friend.

"I was wondering if you had forgotten about us, Allana!" Freya exclaimed, grinning. "What do you need us for?"

"Wait," Allana countered, furrowing her brows. "I never asked how you already know me."

Allegra nodded, and Freya seemed befuddled. "You're right," Allegra agreed, before continuing. "All creations have a connection-- a lifelong bond with their creator. While we've never met, we know each and every detail about you. It's as if we've been friends since childhood."

Allana paused, before grunting in acknowledgement of Allegra's statement.

"To answer your question, Freya, I have a request. Should I continue?" They two of them nodded, and Allana carried on. "Could you take me somewhere? Like, out of Zaira?"

Freya beamed and happily replied, "Of course! How about we take you to Starfallen?"

It wasn't long before Allana matched Freya's excitement. "Sure! I'll go ask my parents." Allana left the room and went to her father, who grimaced when he caught sight of her. Allana didn't notice because she was trying not to bounce off the walls.

"Can I go to Starfallen?"

"No."

"Why?" Allana questioned, eye twitching.

"BECAUSE I AM YOUR FATHER, AND I DECIDE WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU! NOW, GO BACK TO YOUR ROOM!" he yelled at the top of his lungs.

Well, he didn't need to tell her twice. Allana turned around to go back, trying not to let her tears fall. Once she went back, she took note of Allegra and Freya's worried faces.

"Are you okay? We heard what happened, and-" Freya was cut off by Allana, who saw right through them.

"We're going to Starfallen now."
