Chapter 4 - Acceptances

Izuku was unable to wrap his head around what had just occurred. He had been in a coma for 2 months and woke up to find that he had acquired a quirk that was topped off by his childhood friend kissing his lips. 

He is unable to utter a word before becoming flustered from the kiss. Izuku has never been clever when it comes to romances and Itsuka's action caught him by surprise. 

"You don't need to answer me now…"

Itsuka only wanted to tell how she feels and not expecting him to immediately accept her. She is willing to wait until he is ready and not make things awkward between the two of them.

Before, she was about to leave and felt her wrist pulled closer to Izuku embracing the young woman feeling the warmth of his body.

"What are you saying? Of course, I accept. I'm sorry for being dumb and letting you worried. I would love to be your boyfriend, Itsu-san."

Izuku lifted her head giving his own kiss that she accepted wholeheartedly, losing in their own world only to be disrupted by someone coming in. 

"Izuku, the doctor you can go home….did I miss something?"

Inko arrives where the two of them blush then notice their position and give a teasing smile pestering the two to tell her what happened.

After a few days in the hospital, Izuku returned home where his Workshop fortunately had not received damage and was the only one struck by the strange lightning. 

"Gideon, are you there?'

A voice and on the screen of his large computer appeared Gideon who had been safe from the incident. He found that his Workshop remained untouched only the damage from the lightning strike had been fixed.

[What is Izuku?]

"How have you been in the past 2 month when I was in a coma?"

[I've taken the time to finish analyzing and successfully created the arc reactor.]

"What? Give me all the reports of the thing you've done while I was away"

Izuku had programmed Gideon to function and continue his research in case he was away. 

To his delight, he successfully created the renewal energy in a compact manner housing an infinite amount of energy.  

"Yes! This is great! Finally with this I could power my project. I have many things that I still need to do."

Before he was struck by the lightning had been developing weapons and suit armor to be used in his hero career. Now that he had a quirk needed to find a way to adjust things.

Izuku took something at the table that was like a bracelet clip wrapping the object around his risk.

"Alright, Gideon please analyze my body to see any abnormalities and please bring me the mark 1 suit."

Moments later the supercomputer uses the bracelet to analyze Izuku's entire body to the cellular level while the workshop changes, opening a new floor where the suite of armor and costume that he was preparing was displayed. 

He had built this robotic armor to enhance his strength and power now only needed to tweak some things would be a great help in his quirk. 

[Analyze complete. There is no sign of any abnormalities, However, an unknown energy seemed to course through your body.]

"Unknown energy? Can you examine what it is?"

[It appears to be similar to kinetic and potential energy.]

"Speed forces huh? Is it possible to make a new type of energy by fusion for arc reactors and particle accelerators?"

[Most likely.]

"I see then there are still many things to discover from this new energy but…..it would be dangerous for people to know of it."

Izuku thought that by spreading the new discovery then the possibility of people misusing it would lead to a disaster. He may be able to help people with the energy but decided it best to only be the one to use it. 

He may be a hero but he is not naive knowing how people would take everything to be in control.

"Gideon please destroy any information about this incident. All files should be stored in Keter Class security."

[It will be done.]

"Good, now then let's begin to finish this armor. Gideon gave me a schematic which provides a high level of heat resistances that have both durability and fast movement."

Izuku spends the entire day building a suit of armor that he calls mark 1. It was one of the main projects being part of the arc reactor. 

Piecing together, he lost himself building the armor until he looked at the time surprised to see that a few minutes had gone and he was already on the verge of finishing the armor.

"Holy shit! With this everything would be quicker! Gideon, how fast was I going?"

[By calculation you had moved 1000x quicker than normal. Brain waves are accelerating at high speed causing perception of time to be slower than normal.]

"That fast huh!? Well I feel I could go faster but I'm getting hungry. Gideon saves all the data and please find the necessary material for mark 2 armor."

Izuku went ahead and grabbed something to eat and found his mother at the kitchen cooking.

"Oh I was about to bring some snacks? Did something happen?"

"Yeah, I still have a hard time controlling my speed force but somehow tap in and finish the Mark 1 armor."

"That project you've been building? Was your arc reactor or something a success?"

"That right, Gideon told me that the arc reactor along with the particle accelerator had been successful giving my workshop its own infinite energy."

"That's great news? Why don't we celebrate?"

"Hahaha it's alright I'm still fixing something. Also I decided to not share the info about it since I'm afraid that if a villain were to gain my arc reactor it would result in many problems."

"Good call, Son! Here eat up! The doctor said that you need a large quantity of nutrients which is why I'm cooking a large meal for you." 

"Thanks mom!"

Izuku looked down at his meal and started to chow down and moved at tremendous speed appearing nothing more than a streak to inko but she smiled happily seeing her son having a quirk. 

"Now that you and Itsuka are together. Remember to give many grandbabies."

This caused him to spat out his water from Inko's remark. He is still trying to find a way to be a boyfriend since he is clueless when it comes to it. 

"Mom!? I said stop joking about that."

"Joking? I have you know that I don't joke around when it comes to this."

"Bleh….how about we move on to another topic!?"

"Nope! I'll be teaching you about how to be a great boyfriend to a woman."

"Hell no I ain't having this."

"Sit down as this would be a long lecture."

Before he could leave his mother force him to stay and listen for over an 3 hours of lecture that was torture as perception time is slower.

The next day, Izuku found himself back at school giving him all the 2 months lecture that he missed but for someone who is a super genius with his newly acquired speed forces helped him finish everything in minutes. 

'Okay I might become the most OP person ever. Not only is my intellect already at a high level, it has been enhanced by my high speed thought processing. If I apply my skills as a fighter then I'll be a force to reckon with.'

He thought to himself sitting down at his desk being met by Bakugou who wasn't even surprised that he recovered.

"I heard you bastard gain a quirk after your coma!?"

"Yeah, it's speed related, I call speed force."

"Tsk. Don't think that you're going to surpass me just because of that! But make sure to not disappoint me."

"I will and I expect the same thing from you."

Izuku and Bakugou fistbump into spending their time at school afterward and meet up with Itsuka who had grown more beautiful than before. 

She did not hesitate to move closer to give him a welcome kiss that annoyed Bakugou and at the same time felt proud for his friend. 

"Good that you two are together! It's been seeing the two of you like a bunch of idiots."

His remark made them blush while Izuku wanted to smash his head for being dense and after the long lecture from his mother learned a bit about women.
