Chapter 25 - The Plan besides The plan

After I informed Grandpa about my new discovery of hiding from sensing techniques, he asked me to practice and perfect that and we will test it once I am proficient.

During the next three days, I spent most of my time mastering my counter-to-sensing techniques and confirming the location of the 'Hiraishin' seals.

The one on the move stopped moving after the fourth day.

And I mastered using natural energy to render sensing techniques useless.

After a few tests with others and Aunt Asahi, I learned it only works on techniques that are based on sending out a wave of chakra, meaning no hiding from Kagura's eyes or Byakugan or a few other sensing techniques.

Grandpa also said since I could manipulate natural energies now, I met one of the requirements needed for learning Senjutsu Chakra or Sage mode.

But I still don't have the ability to actually practice it.

On the fifth day, in the presence of the Three Elders and Uncle Akio, I used the 'Hiraishin' seal in the afternoon and appeared in a sealed room with a table containing two scrolls.

One with my 'Hiraishin' seal and another one that showed a few maps when I opened it, I took it and teleported out of the room.

As I returned, my grandfather asked

"Did you meet Mito?"

"No."

I relayed to him what happened, and he spoke

"Mito made a wise choice, with that isolation seal, she reduced the chance of anyone finding out about your arrival to nothing."(Ashina)

"I think so too."(Akio)

"Can you teleport people, Sen?"(Ashina)

"Yes, but only one person and just twice, before I exhaust myself and need a break."(Sen)

"Then Asahi, Sen will put a 'Hiraishin' seal on you and you will travel to the location on the map, we have already sent one of Sen's seals to the borders of river country and Land of Wind."(Ashina)

"Yes!"(Asahi)

After Aunt Asahi made a copy of the map, I dropped her to the river country and returned to the clan, all that was left now was to wait.

I spent the next two months transporting materials and elders back and forth to the new village.

But during the end of the third month, my body started showing signs of unconsciousness again, so I suppressed the feeling until a permanent guiding seal was made in the desert using Chakra metals.

We planned to use that on one end and disposable seals to teleport us from the village which will burst after one use.

This way after we leave even if someone finds a trace of the seals all they have will be a broken and useless seal, with unknown usage. Leaving them with no way to follow us.

And after everything for evacuation was ready, I finally gave in and fell unconscious.

AKIO POV

As I looked at unconscious Sen I couldn't help but say

"You didn't tell him after all, did you?"(Akio)

"What?"(Bakugo)

"The changes we made to his plan."(Ashina)

"I see."(Bakugo)

"Why?"(Asahi)

"It is not his burden to bear, no matter what he is still a child."(Ashina)

"What happens when he learns about it?"(Asahi)

"He will understand, he isn't stupid, he probably found those flaws but is just unwilling to acknowledge it."(Ashina)

"What's the problem with his plan?"(Bakugo)

"With his plan, there will be no deaths in the Uzumaki clan, which can't happen."(Asahi)

"Some must stay behind and bodies of some important faces must be found among the dead to avoid suspicion."(Ashina)

"I discussed it with uncle when Sen never mentioned it, but I realize now it was just his unwillingness to face it, sometimes I forget he is a child after all."(Akio)

"Now, it is time to decide who will lead the clan."(Ashina)

"You should do it, Uncle. You have the most experience."(Akio)

"I will stay behind, I only know how to fight and that is what I will do."(Bakugo)

"I will need to stay behind too as my sensing ability will be needed to control the overall situation."(Asahi)

"I too will stay behind, I only have a couple of years left, no point spending them in a sickbed."(Ashina)

"Akio you will lead the clan away."(Ashina)

"But I am the clan leader, I can't just run away!"(Akio)

"That is why, you will be the one who will 'destroy' the clan."(Ashina)

"What do you plan Uncle?"(Akio)

"I plan to gather all the people in one room, send them away and detonate the place with already present dead bodies inside it, so it will look like you killed everyone to prevent them from being captured."(Ashina)

"Very well." I acknowledged his orders with a heavy heart.

"Meanwhile, send some trustworthy people disguised as merchants to buy some plots of land in various Nations we should leave a foundation for the merchant group before we go into hiding, and prepare someone to accompany Sen to the Land of Wind ahead of time." said Uncle being as exhaustive in his planning as usual.

-----Senju Sen POV----

I woke up to find myself lying down on a bed made by joining my old one with some new pieces put together

Looks like it was needed at some point during my sleep to sustain me.

As I woke up and moved about I suddenly felt a familiar feeling of being spied on, and a moment later Uzumaki (I-am-invisible) Shin appeared in the room.

Before I could greet him, he went down on one knee and said

"Uzumaki Shin greets the sage."

And I kept opening and closing my mouth trying to find proper words to respond.
