CHAPTER 23 - Waking Up and meeting Clan leader

Sen POV

After I woke up I found myself in a familiar room on an unfamiliar bed.

As I checked myself and my surroundings I felt my senses being sharper than before and as I controlled the chakra moving around my body I felt the process being easier than before.

I got off the bed but stopped as I saw the needle piercing my stomach.

And then I heard the sound of footsteps, looks like me moving around alerted someone.

As I waited the door to the room opened and Aunt Asahi came in.

She looked a lot older than I last saw her.

"You are awake."(Asahi)

"Yes, Aunt Asahi or should I call you Grandma Asahi now?"(Sen)

"Do you have the balls? If you do try it?"(Asahi)

"I am young, I don't understand what you mean."(Sen)

'Yes, that's right! I am not afraid, I just don't understand complicated words.'

"Sure you don't, let's go out, you have a lot to catch up on."(Asahi)

"Not yet."(Sen)

I said pointing at the needle in my stomach.

When she saw that she got the needle out and healed my wound with medical jutsu.

"You know medical ninjutsu?"(Sen)

"Yes, a little."(Asahi)

"How?"(Sen)

"I am a Master-level in sealing arts-"(Asahi)

"So you have the chakra control needed for medical ninjutsu."(Sen)

"And I learned only those that don't need theory lessons."(Asahi)

"Sure you did."(Sen)

"Now, let's go."(Asahi)

As we walked out I asked

"How long was I asleep?"(Sen)

"About 9 years."(Asahi)

"What!?"(Sen)

'That's much longer than the last time.'

"You sure slept a long time."(Asahi)

"Then how did I survive?"(Sen)

"What do you mean?"(Asahi)

"The casket only had enough vitality for about 12 years when I came to the clan."(Sen)

"About that, let's meet your grandfather first and then we will tell you everything that happened in the last 9 years."(Asahi)

As we made our way to Grandfather's courtyard I tried to use my senses to see what changed in my body, but the only thing I felt was a slight improvement in chakre control and enhancement to my senses.

When we reached the door Aunt Asahi knocked on the door and Grandfather's voice came from inside.

"Come in."(Ashina)

"Good afternoon, Uncle."(Asahi)

"Good afternoon Grandpa."(Sen)

As Granndpa turned to look at us, I saw his aged face he looked like he aged a lot.

He looked at me for a while and finally spoke

"You finally decided to wake up brat, I was almost about to hit you to wake you up."(Ashina)

As I looked at his reddening eyes, I felt guilty inside and spoke

"I am sorry for worrying you, Grandpa."(Sen)

"As long as you are fine."(Ashina)

"Asahi, go call Bakugo and Akio."(Ashina)

"Yes~"(Asahi)

"Now tell me what happened to you?"(Ashina)

"I don't know honestly, the last time I slept for 5 years my chakra network developed, but this time all I felt was a slight enhancement to my senses and a slight improvement in chakra control."(Sen)

"I see, maybe you just didn't find the changes yet, we will try to see them later."

"I think so too."(Sen)

"Why did you call Clan Leader too?"(Sen)

"That's Uncle to you, and because he already knows about you."(Ashina)

"How?"(Sen)

"I told him, I was worried about the vitality in your casket running out so I decided to enlist his help."(Ashina)

"I see, looks like you succeed."(Sen)

"Yes, a girl in the clan helped you at the cost of three years of her lifespan she gave 12 years to you."(Ashina)

"Then I will need to thank her in person."(Sen)

And we waited for others to arrive.

As they entered the room I heard a voice

"Look who decided to wake up, if it isn't the useless brat."(Bakugo)

"And I thought who it was, if it isn't 'just Third' Elder."(Sen)

"You wanna fight brat?"(Bakugo)

"Try your worst old man."(Sen)

"Enough, you two. Can't you not fight for once."(Ashina)

"Are they always like this?"(Akio)

"Every time."(Asahi)

"At least they are lively."(Akio)

"That's one way to put it."(Asahi)

"Now that you are all here let's talk about what happened in the last 9 years."(Ashina)

"I will tell him."(Asahi)

"No, Akio you tell him about the major events."(Ashina)

"Fine. First, let's talk about our clan. After your suggestion of training the clan was put into action, and two years later we were involved in the war at the call of Konoha."(Akio)

"Because of our preparations when the shinobi villages put tailed beasts on the battlefield, we made quick work of them."(Akio)

"And for the first time, the world knew how a prepared sealing squad of Uzumaki can manhandle tailed beasts."(Akio)

"Because of our stellar performance, I asked our people to withdraw to avoid being targeted after greeting Second Hokage."(Akio)

"Towards the end of the war, the second Hokage and Raikage died at the hands of the cloud shinobi squad led by Ginkaku and Kinkaku though he caused them serious losses."(Akio)

"They too died later in the war, probably planned by third Raikage."(Akio)

"Sarutobi Hiruzen succeeded Lord Second and became the third Hokage and the war ended about a year ago."(Akio)

"That means our time is running out."(Sen)

"What does that mean?"(Akio)

"You didn't tell him?"(Sen)

'Looks like he wasn't told everything.'

Ashina Uzumaki told him about the predicted demise of Uzumaki, Sen's plan and their preparations.

"So that-(Akio)

"Someone just looked at me."(Sen)

"What did you mean?"

"I felt someone look at me."(Sen)

"Where?"

"There." I said as I pointed towards a direction at the wall.

"I will go check it out."(Akio)

As Uncle Akio went out we waited in silence, He came back with a person following him.

"Yes, it's him."(Sen)

'He gives me the same feeling I felt just now.'

"Did you spy on us?"(Ashina)

"No, Clan Leader I was in my position guarding the premises."(Guard)

"Where?"(Ashina)

"In the direction Sen pointed."(Akio)

"Did you do something while guarding?"(Ashina)

"No all I did was use sensing techniques while monitoring."(Guard)

"Did you search the room too?"(Ashina)

"Yes, when I felt an unfamiliar chakra in the room." He said looking towards me.

And everyone in the room turned towards me.
