DISCLAIMER : THIS IS A FANFICTION. So obviously I don't own any of the characters that appear in the novel. Honestly do I even own the 'OCs' that are in here? The great pirates era. It was a time when pirates were anywhere and everywhere. Two boys from a corner of the East blue are about to set out and turn the world upside down.

Manipulation is fun

Zumo looked at the little human who was standing across from him and started to creep out, a feeling which only intensified after the boy started drooling.

When he was thinking of throwing this kid to someone else, he felt his captain glaring at him. So, with renewed courage, which was mostly fueled by fear, Zumo ran at his opponent.

Jerry looked at the fish-man and wiped his drool and got ready. When the fish-man had gotten close enough, Jerry swung his batons right at the fish-man's chest, only for them to get blocked by the spikes that came out of the fish-man's body.

Watching the human widen his eyes at his amazing ability, Zumo smirked and tried to wrap his arms around Jerry to skewer him.

Watching the spiky arms coming, Jerry ducked and rolled away. As he watched the spikes go back into the fish-man's body, he noticed that they had left holes all over, which made the fish-man look hideous.

Zumo was rather smug as he watched Jerry run away, but it did not last when he watched the human staring at him, eyes widened.

Following his eyes, Zumo looked down and noticed his clothes were ripped apart by his own spikes, showing his body, which was filled with holes for everyone to see. Thinking that the human boy was ridiculing him somehow, Zumo started bubbling with anger.

Jerry tilted his head as the fish-man started shaking after he put his head down. When Zumo finally raised his head back up, Jerry noticed it being filled with extreme anger and hatred.

"You bastard!"

"???"

Wondering why he had suddenly got so angry, Jerry dodged the fish-man's blow and kept evading while blocking when he needed while observing the spikes that were coming out and going back in.

Zumo's face soon became red with anger as he watched the human stare at his body, which was mostly bare now that his clothes were torn apart by his own spikes. Gritting his teeth, he clasped his hands together and brought them down on Jerry's head.

Jerry managed to cross his batons and bring them up just in time to block the blow. Jerry smirked at Zumo, only to see the fish-man glaring at him with steam coming out of his ears.

Pushing Zumo's hands away, Jerry jumped back and declared while raising his batons at Zumo.

"I've figured out how to beat you. You're dead meat now!"

Zumo did not have much time after he heard that, as Jerry started rushing at him. Blocking the blows that were aimed at his thighs, he tried to kick the human away.

Jumping up to avoid the kick, Jerry started swinging his batons mid air aiming at Zumo's head, leaving the fish-man unable to do anything other than crossing his arms above his head to block the onslaught.

As he was thinking if he should try and jump away before engaging the human again, he felt something rip his cross guard wide open.

Zumo looked in surprise at the batons the human held, which had started to look like crowbars now, with one end bent, which was probably used to open up his guard.

Seeing those crowbars coming straight at his head, Zumo knew he had only one option, as he could not lift his arms back up in time.

An option which he did not want to take, as he started to remember the ridicule that he had faced because of how his body looked. Not wanting his face to become the same way, Zumo gritted his teeth and decided to tank the blow.

'How hard can a puny human's attack hit anyway?'

He soon started doubting the choice he made as the crowbars crashed into the sides of his head. With his ears ringing, his eyesight getting blurry, Zumo wobbled for a moment before shaking his head and searching for his foe.

When Zumo finally found him, he sae the human was swinging a big hammer with an evil smile.

Seeing where the hammer would crash into, Zumo became pale. It was another place he did not use his ability on, his pride as a man not allowing it.

Jerry looked at the fish-man whose face had become extremely pale and his smile grew bigger. Putting all his strength into the swing, he swung his hammer, aiming right between Zumo's legs.

[Nut cracker]

"NOOOOOOO!"

Letting out a shriek that would put banshees to shame, Zumo collapsed onto the ground clutching his jewels.

Jerry looked at the fish-man who had collapsed while crying and asked.

"Why didn't you try and use your spiky thing?"

With tears streaming down his face, Zumo looked at the human and said.

"I.. always got bullied because of the holes that they left. So I did not want it to become even worse."

"Ohh.."

"And you know, I'm still single! How can I impress a cute mermaid if I look bad!?"

"You know old man fish, true beauty lies inside."

Zumo looked at the little human who said that with the purest smile he had ever seen. He could not believe such words came out of a human, a race that he considered well beneath him.

Letting out a wry chuckle, Zumo wiped his tears and said.

"Thank you boy, you have opened my eyes. If only I had heard that earlier in my life.."

Shaking his head, Zumo decided to let go and did something he had never done before, protruding spikes from his face.

Closing his eyes, he reveled in the feeling he got from letting go of his inner demons. Letting them go back inside, Zumo looked at his benefactor, wanting to ask his name.

"Gah, so ugly."

"...."

Zumo's inner being shattered after hearing that and looking at the disgusted look the human had on his face. He was so out of it that he did not even notice the hammer, which had crushed his manhood, heading straight for his head.

Jerry jumped on top of the unconscious body of the fish-man and pumped his hammer into the air.

"Nihihihi, I won! It's so easy to fool idiots!"

**********

Sanji hurried out of the water after seeing that Luffy's head had been dragged out and his life was not in immediate danger.

"Sanji!"

Looking at Zoro, who was looking worried, Sanji said while gasping for breath.

"Don't worry.. he's alright."

"He's alright?"

"Well, half of him is."

"..Half?"

"I'll explain later."

Turning towards the water, Sanji shouted for the fish-man to come out and face him, which the fish-man was more than happy to do.

Making quick work of him, Sanji sent flying into a wall, right next to Arlong. Something which the leader of the fish-men did not take too kindly as he glared at the humans who had beaten his officers with bloodshot eyes.
