Perhaps she did not need to watch him at all? She sighed again. It was rather exhausting to hide things from her daughter and husband. 

At the thought of her husband, de fished her phone out of her purse and dialled his number. 

"Hey,"

"Hey, wifey. To what do I owe this pleasant call?" Braxton's deep voice echoed through the receiver. She sighed softly, relishing in the calmness that washed over her at the sound of his voice. 

"You're late for dinner." She murmured. 

"I am? I thought dinner was eight?" He sounded majorly confused and she laughed. 

"It's a few minutes to nine honey"

"It's... Oh shit. It's late. I'm sorry Dora, I hadn't realized it was quite late. There's this file-"

"I had to deal with another of Cleo's episodes alone. It's rather exhausting Braxton." 

She knew he winced on the other side.
