The children's voices distracted Alister, who was previously lost in thought. Alister looked around him to find that he was in the courtyard of a large orphanage. It took Alister a moment to realize that he was taking Melisa to visit one of the orphanages after they had been busy spending time with Melisa's family at the royal palace for the past few days.
"Your Highness, please lift me too!"
A five-year-old little girl stretched out her hand to Melisa. Melisa, who had just finished holding another child, smiled. She took the little girl into her arms, then lifted her high as before.
"Yeah!"
