The smell of blood rose into the air as another grueling battle finally ended. Two years. It took Prince Raoul two whole years to clear out all the bandits in the border area. During that time, Prince Raoul could no longer count how many lives he had killed with his two hands. The prince was standing in the middle of the destroyed bandit camp. Raoul put his sword back, as he knew their long battle had finally ended.
From behind, the sound of galloping horses was heard until it stopped a few meters from where Prince Raoul was standing. A valiant man in battle armor dismounted from his horse and knelt before the prince. When Prince Raoul finally turned to look at him, Captain Allen immediately addressed the prince.
"Your Highness, we have caught the leader that was trying to escape!"
Prince Raoul nodded in response to Captain Allen's report. "Good job. Where is he? I have something to ask him," Prince Raoul informed.
