CHAPTER 9

It has been four months since Kuro found a safe place for her operations. She has been exploring the second floor after settling there.

Her experimentations were going very smoothly. So she can relax once in a while. Of course she has to fight monsters for food. But unlike the first floor, monsters here , didnt ran away after seeing her. Sometimes it was hard for her to fight them when they attacked her in hoards . but all the while it was worth it. Even after exploring for four months, She wasn't able to explor the bse tunnels of te second floor. After all, the second floor is what truly strech all over the middle ocean connecting three continents. The ground floor also covers these three continents, but it is not deep as the underground floors of the labyrinth. The underground labyrinth was also specious. So it is still unknown exactly how large and deep these labyrinth really is. Akumu labyrinth is truly the greatest piece of natural art.

In a wide and specious tunnel, Kuro was walking vigilantly. The reason for her vigilant attitude was because of the newly discovered camouflage leech. These little monsters were not only able to hide themselves in the background but also have a very special poison that not only reduces the pain but also paralyses the body. Although they are very week to fire, but for some reason They are very hard to detect. Without universal perceptions, it was almost impossible to find them. They usually live in a very cold places. And the ground Kuro was walking on was very cold. After walking for a while, she saw a bizzare seen. A hoard of hell hound surrounding a white spider. Hell hounds are rare in the second floor. But this pack of hell hounds was different. Their colour is purple. And the colour of the fur of the alfa is brownish red. She deduced that this perticular group of hell hounds must be poisonous. And true to her doubts, when she attacked them, they attacked her back with poisonous gases. But it was a relatively less toxic poison compared to the other poisonous creatures in the floor. So relaxing a bit, Kuro decided to end the fight soon. She jumped above the hounds and fired a dark attribute magic corrosion orb. This magic was meant to finish the target completely. She has already captured many other monsters for her food. So she has no interest in taking these ugly looking poisonous monsters as her dinner.

The magic was able to wipe out almost all the hounds. Only the alpha remained. It ran towards Kuro with full speed. But for Kuro, it was very slow. She casually dodged the attack. Then with her body strengthening magic, she strengthened her tail, increased it's density and launched a counter attack towards it's nake. As expected, the beast's neck cracked and it died. After finishing her fight, she glanced at the white spider and decided to continue her exploring. Little did she know she made her first friend in this ruthless labyrinth .
