The thornheart stalkers were very hard monsters to kill in the first season. In the past, they were not even considered a farmable monster until the last month of the first season. This is because no one was strong enough to kill them until later.
The thornheart stalkers never fought alone, which was a problem when trying to hunt them. You could think of them as soldier ants. Whenever you fought one of them, you were more than likely going to encounter dozens of them. They were also very well armored, so it was hard to kill them if you didn't deal enough damage. Of course, their joints were vulnerable, but these monsters were very good at protecting that weakness.
Fortunately for me, right now, these monsters were not protecting any of their weaknesses. The thornheart stalkers in front of me were nothing but motionless bags of experience. There were probably about 50 or more of them just standing around, which was more than enough to get me to level 10.
I stepped towards the thornheart experience farm that was created so graciously by the doctor and began to kill every last one. The experience points were rolling in faster than I could imagine. I had earned so many experience points that it made me think differently about the Alorae soldiers that I had just killed. I was reminded of something Punisher told me in my past life. He said that a tiger grown in the wild is always stronger than a tiger fed in captivity.
If those soldiers had Punisher's mindset, they would have been prepared for an ambush. They would have fought back, or at least been ready to fight sooner. I had been fighting for the last five years, so earning experience like this wouldn't make me weaker or change the way that I fight, so I could enjoy the feast of experience points to my heart's content.

After three dozen kills, I had finally reached level 10. There were still around 20 remaining thornheart stalkers, but I decided to ignore them until after I had selected my class. I only had 15 minutes to spare before every player knew where I was. I took a look at the class options and was surprised to find that there were a few that I had never seen before or even heard of in my past life. From the number of legendary and epic class options available, it appeared that the system had determined my potential to be incredibly high.
There was also a rarity that I had never seen before. I knew about every rarity between common and legendary, but a unique rarity had never been seen before in my past life. What was even more interesting was that the unique class option was blocked out but selectable. There was also no information option to review what I was getting into if I were to select it. All the other class options had an information tab attached to them so that I could view them.
The legendary options looked incredible just by name alone. Two of the three options were ones that did not show up in my last life, or perhaps they did, and the owners ended up dying because of the disease that spread across the first season. I navigated to view the information available for the three legendary classes.
Herald of the Apocalypse
Legendary Class [Limited: 1]
Description: The Heralds of the Apocalypse are not harbingers of doom, but masters of its manipulation. Wielding calamitous magic in calculated bursts, they unleash waves of destructive energy that engulf entire battlefields, shattering enemy formations and leaving scorched earth in their wake. Yet, amidst the carnage, they offer salvation. With a touch, they empower up to four allies, granting them boons of resilience and righteous fury, turning the tide of battle and etching the Herald's legend not as a harbinger of destruction, but as a shepherd of scorched-earth salvation.

Apostle of Judgment
Legendary Class [Limited: 1]
Description: Apostles of Judgment are not mere warriors, but instruments of divine wrath. Cloaked in an aura of righteous fury, they stalk the land, their senses attuned to the whispers of malevolent magic. When an evil presence is near, their eyes blaze with celestial fire, and their blades hum with anticipation. In combat, they are whirlwinds of holy steel, unleashing devastating strikes that cripple and weaken even the mightiest fiends. But their true terror lies in their ability to drag hidden shadows into the light. With a whispered prayer, they bind the wicked to their presence, forcing them to face their reckoning, leaving no villain with the luxury of anonymity or escape. These are not simply slayers, but judges, jury, and executioners rolled into one, their presence a chilling promise - no evil shall escape the Apostle's gaze, and when they find it, judgment is swift and absolute.
