I walked briskly to Dad's office, I cannot wrap my head around what is happening.

It makes no sense and I'm very scared.

There is no way I'm getting married to Rafe Bolton!

Not now and not ever!

"The chairman is in a private meeting, you cannot go in now" His bodyguard stopped me outside the door before I could open the door.

"What do you mean?

I am his daughter, I'm not here to cause a nuisance or anything!" I said in frustration.

"I'm sorry Miss, but the Chairman has given me orders to allow no one in while the meeting was still going on" The Bodyguard replied and bowed slightly.
