I watched in heart wrenching pity as Anna left the company.
She has no idea that the Chairman has knowledge of everything she is doing.
The feeling of guilt always assaults me anytime I have to give him reports about her but I had no idea it would be this nerve wrecking before I agreed to do this job.
I should have stayed as just his personal assistant. That was safer.
His call came in and I rushed to his office.
His guests left as I got there. He really was in a meeting, Anna should have listened when I told her to wait.
"Where is she?" He asked me with a mild interest.
"She left the company a while ago," I replied.
"To where?" He asked, a frown creasing his brows.
"To meet Mr Bolton"
"Rafe?"
"Yes sir".
"Alright, is that all you have about her?" He asked, waiting in expectation.
"She is paying for the shares today". I replied in difficulty.
