" i was enjoying my cafe on one of the roof tops in a big city named 'Winterton ',this city is one of the front line cities, although there are, monster hideouts inside cities, they are low on number,and most those hide out do not contain high number of people . most of the monsters are out side the human territory,which is why the human kind hasn't fallen .

there was blue pet like creature, it was a pet that was created hundred years ago in order to have higher chance to stop monster,they are the hopes of humanity, the pets are just a intimidation of us monsters, those little pests transform and cover your body in order to protect you . they are incapable to transform and use their powers efficiently, so they need a host , the hosts skill, and their compatibility with those pest's determine their strength .

some people have them as pet, some as a partner, some take the for protection and strength, of course people can't have what ever they want , they should have the affinity for it . the people who use them in order to protect humanities are called 'knights order' .

fun fact ! the reason these creatures are in existence , was because of the seventh king, don't misunderstanding he didn't create his in order to help humans, he was trapped in a facility and he created his own pets in order to bring someone to save him . then after a while , scientists were able to re-create them , and making these fakers .

hmm ? while i was enjoying my cafe i noticed a boy, he had black hair and a black eyes, nothing especial about his appearance, but that boy , his partner is a red one with black in the gap of its hard skin, it had a black wing, so it's partner is the kind which represents my kind, moreover its a original, the one who the king himself created it is a lot stronger than others, but i could feel it, the boy couldn't bring out the real power of 'IT', should i kill him before he becomes a problem for me ? no i'm not here to kill people, so i should not care about him. i will have to remember his face, he can be a real threat to me.

the boy which Lucy just took interest in, suddenly turned his head towards the place Lucy was... except there was no one there, his partner turned towards him asked him using telepathy .

After looking at that kid, i got into the street and,i'm currently walking besides the humans in the street, they don't even know that a terrible monster is walking besides them, i came here in order to find a clue, about the mastermind, if i remember correctly, there is a underground research facility in this city, well normally a monster won't be able to walk around normally, since humans have developed a technology that can detect monsters, but since i'm a 'Nightmarian' and we did not show our selves to outside world, they had no way of detecting me, but that is temporary, since the 'Nightmarians' are slowly acting up in this war too ,it wont take long before, the make detectors, able to sense us .

oh I've reached my destination, i stood in front of a run-down building, i checked to make sure no one was following me before pushing the door open .

As i entered the building, i transformed into my monster form, my skin turned black, my pupils slowly faded away, and the whiteness of my eyes slowly glowed , my tooth turned as sharp as a blade, and inside my mouth glowed, my fingers turned into claws that seemed like it can cut anything, making me seem like a demon that i am .

i took a look around, the place looked smaller compared to when you looked from outside, this place seems like it used to be a bar .

I deployed my <Domain> and searched for a place where it could be a hidden entrance, and Bingo, found it .

i walked towards one of the walls and taped on it, THUD ! it sounds like its empty inside, I called back my <Domain> and used my <Shadow movement> to pass the wall.

when i'm inside the shadow, i can not see how the world looks like, all i can see is the walls and ground, so i peeked a look, no one was there, so i came out of the shadow, i was in a hall that was made from iron, it really did seem like a research facility, i walked down the hall with cautious, are you surprised that i'm being cautious ? don't be since this is a pretty important, i can't afford to mess it up,

after walking down the hall a bit i reached yet another door but this time there seems to be knights, from the color of their armor , i could guess that they were, fire and lightning users, using my <Shadow movement> i went up to the roof and went behind them, they were talking about some novel, as much as i am interested in hearing about their discussion, i can not stay in the shadow for ever , i have the maximum amount of 16 second to use, the level of the skill was five, and every level it doubled the amount of time, at least for now, i did have time , but the longer i was in the shadow, the more i lose energy, we 'Nightmarians' live only on energy, if our energy runs out we die .

i came out out the shadow readied my scythe to slash down at him .

swoosh ! i swinged and with a loud THUD! the head fell down, i turned towards the other person, who was dumbfounded, as soon as he tried to shout, i used the handle of my scythe and pinned his neck to the wall, chocking him .

using a spike i pierced his head, i let go of him and he dropped like a puppet who's strings was cut off .

after their death those little pest emerged from their body, shivering in fear of their lives, annoyed i absorbed their energy and there was nothing left behind of those pests, yes they are pure energy, they can't live with out a host .

i passed the door and after walking for a while i saw a window, curious i looked over the window, there was big capsules holding different creatures some , with out limbs, some didn't even have skin .

this scene made me feel anger, no it wasn't my anger, it felt like there was someone else inside me, and i was feeling their emotions.

suddenly two unfamiliar voices shouted in my head

[THOSE PIECESES OF SHIT DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE ! ]

[ it seems they still at it , even after a hundred years]

while these two voice were talking i could hear a weak voice
