***** SEVEN YEARS LATER *********
A young man with short white hair could be seeing on his bed while operating a phone seriously .
this young man was no other than astra, this past few years astra had tried his best to live a low key life, it wasn't as easy as it sounds for someone who had a short temper .
Astra and Gina's friendship had grown a lot stronger although Gina didn't have any other friend apart from him, they had always hanged out, but as they grew things got harder for Gina , Astra wasn't limited to only her, he had started to grow into a man so she was afraid of losing him.
He had even become a bit distance because of some issues, ' as a man he needs his own space ' Clara told Gina but that even made matters worse.
Astra was lying on his bed , a bag of potato ships next to him while he engrossed himself in his knew game.
Astra's POV
' after so many weeks I finally got nominated to participate in the guild war ' astra thought in excitement, he always made sure that his morning chores were done before he got to play his game, by chores ( all the house work in the house includes washing , cooking etcetera )
" astra "
he heard his name , he didn't have to look because he knew it was Gina but he didn't know what she wanted, he just ignored her because he was in the middle of an immense battle and he couldn't afford to loose
" astra , oh there you are " Gina said as she saw astra manhandling his phone in distress ' this is his 6th phone this month and he is already getting ready to destroy it ' Gina thought inwardly shaking her head, after all she was the one who introduced him to a mobile phone.
she climbed his bed and lay there waiting for him to win or loose , which ever comes first.
******* five minutes later
astra sighed as he finally won the match without braking his phone, he looked to the side to find Gina lying there also with her phone.
" you want something " he asked as he sat up, if his mother saw the two of them like this, she will start making up weird fantasy's in her head. After all she had hammered the house because of girls, she even broke a girls finger last time.
she got up with stars in her eyes as she said " let's enroll in the twilight academy "
astra 0-0 ?.....
" the academy is for young cultivators to learn how to cultivate well " she said while she dragged him downstairs.
" NO " astra said, he wanted a low key life not a way to boost him, decides what could they possibly teach me, I will just end up teaching them instead.
" come on , please.... " she said using her poppy dog eyes on him.
" even if I wanted to enroll, I don't have that kind of money " ( big lie ) astra had a huge stock of loot in his storage space.
" mom said she would pay for everything " Gina said not giving up at all .
they arrived at the dining table were Clara and Gina's mom were discussing about something.
" mom he does not want to go " Gina said to her mother.
" if I go who will take care of my mother " astra said knowing fully well that he couldn't afford to leave his mother and that was his major trump card. hunter was away in the city with his job while Venus was married with a kid.
" don't worry, she will move in with me " Gina's mom said , she knew he had a major soft spot for his mother .
0-0....!!!! " heh, no way I cant trouble you with my mother " astra said still adamant on his decision, it wasn't the fact of going to school but leaving his mother in someone else's care , that was a big No .
" son it fine, you should go, you don't know if you will have another chance like this " Clara urged .
after sometime, of bickering, it was decided, they were gonna take the entrance exams.
