8 CHAPTER 9 : MY FIRST FRIEND IS A NOBLE ?

Astra watched as the girl knelt down , like she was tired or something.

Suddenly a two head snake sprang out of no were targeting the purple haired girl.

" is she crazy , she trying to commit suicide " 0-0.... ' okay mine was different, I am not crazy just desperate '

" well it's her funeral " ( A/N look I just want to clear something up, astra ( Alaric ) is not the most caring person in the whole world, he doesn't have a heart of gold or anything like that, he was the kind of person that minds his business, and also if you hit him , he will hit you × ten )

Astra suddenly noticed something " heh ! this beast is at the ninth stage of body refinement, if I collect it's core, mom would be able to sell it and use the money on her self, If she ask were i got it , I will just say , I stumbled upon a dead high stage beast , seems believable " he said then flew down towards the snake.

the girl was bruised badly and was unable to fight so she just waited for her painful death when she saw a white haired boy land in front of her.

' hmm, I don't want the beast core to get destroyed so I have to reduce my strength, but at which level , the last time I used 1% I nearly destroyed a mountain,

so..... 0% I guess ' .

the two headed snake immediately attacked him but was met with a concrete fist, it was sent flying several meters back and destroyed a bunch of trees on the way .

Astra - 0-0...

" heh !!!!!!!!, ahhhh no , no ,no the core Astra screamed and ran over to wear the snake had landed, he immediately started digging and searching in the snakes body for the core.

The girl was surprised because even if she wasn't in this state she was, she couldn't really handle the snake, she stood up and walked slowly towards the boy and bowed " thank you so much for saving my life " the girl said truly grateful to him.

" huh ? , I didn't save your life , I just wanted something from this weak thing " he said almost diving into the snake's head , he was short so he couldn't really reach what he wanted .

0-0... " um... well anyway I am still grateful to you, I will find a way to repay you " the girl said with yet another bow .

" would you stop bowing , we are the same age "

( technically )

" if you really want to help, give me a hand with this , as you can see am not exactly tall " he said almost falling inside the opened snake.

10 minutes later

Astra and the purple haired girl were completely covered in blood.

" so what are you planning on doing with that " the purple haired girl said pointing at the red core of the magical beast, her face was a little red, not from the blood but from the constant burning blush , luckily thanks to the blood it wasn't that visible.

" well, weird purple haired girl I am planning on giving it to my mother " he said looking at the clear sky .

" you know I have a name right ? " she asked with tight lips .

" no, and I really don't care " he said thinking she was like the others.

" well, it's Gina " she said facing him. although he didn't reply .

" you wanna be friends " Gina suddenly asked.

Astra looked at her with suspicious eyes before saying " why do you wanna be friends with me "

" well for starters your the only one who doesn't know who I am, and you treat me as an equal, and I can sense that you are a good person " she said with a smile on her face.

" come to think of it , I haven't seen you before " he said wondering who she could possible be to say that.

" well I am Gina the first child of lord Bryan luck-well "

she said not too boldly though.

" so your a noble , what the heck are you doing here ".

Astra asked a bit shocked that this girl was actually in this common village.

" well my parents got divorced, and my mom wants to start over again, peaceful so we moved here " Gina said while smiling, but only a fool would could believe that smile was sincere, she was sad .

" oh , then I guess we can be friends " astra said and smiled " we Better head back this place is more dangerous at night.

the took kids stood up and started their journey home, while they made little chats.

turns out Gina was a lightning user , a super rare element, she also just turned 10 .

'what am I thinking, my new friend is a noble ? , well I guess I just have to suck it up '

surprisingly Gina and her mom were their new neighbor , and what was even more surprising was that Clara knew Gina's mom.

AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER
