Theo had almost absorbed all useful powers, and no one had noticed. While Theo still couldn't defeat Superman, he could at least cause significant damage. Forget Superman for now; he's not the enemy, but he's still quite important. After all, this isn't the Superman from the movies but the one from the comics. Theo hoped this wasn't the Silver Superman.
All the powers had been digested, and Theo quickly adapted to them. He knew Batman was probably watching him—likely monitoring him from the Batcave. He could almost swear Batman was watching him through the monitors. But Theo didn't care. The most important thing now was to steal Reverse Flash's power before he escaped. Theo, as usual, was finishing his meal and knew it was time to execute the plan he'd been thinking about for days.
Theo looked at the man in front of him. In prison, his nickname was Big D, and the man was black, which justified his nickname. Theo had befriended Big D, whose power was energy absorption, though Theo didn't need it, as he had stronger abilities in his inventory. Theo leaned closer to Big D and whispered something in his ear.
After hearing Theo's words, Big D stood up and gathered his men.
Theo had told him: "See that guy in the corner? When I talked to him earlier, he said some nasty things about you. He said that because you're black, this place is your natural habitat, and even if you weren't here, you should still be out picking cotton. And he said that your mother was a prostitute. If I were you, I'd beat him up."
Theo's words were true. The guy was a racist, and he was also someone respected in the prison. His power was controlling sand, but because of the leash, he couldn't use his power. Big D got up stood in front of the man, and the guards were already nervous. Suddenly, Big D grabbed the guy's head and slammed it into the table.
Big D: "Everyone, beat them up!"
The entire cafeteria turned into chaos, and the reason was simple:
Rule #1 in prison: Don't talk about anyone's mother.
The guards came rushing in, flooding the cafeteria. Theo got up from the table, grabbed his iron food tray, and struck a guard in the head, knocking him out. The other inmates began attacking the guards as well. Theo put on the guard's uniform, took his radio, and immediately made his way to Reverse Flash's location, which was guarded by four men. Acting like the leader of the guards, Theo's voice changed, and the collar on him vanished.
Theo: "Everyone, head to the cafeteria. I'll handle this guy. We need more men, hurry up!"
Guards: "Yes, sir!"
Then Theo looked at Reverse Flash, who stared back at him.
Reverse Flash: "What are you looking at? Do you want me to gouge out your eyes?"
Theo: "Yo, yo, chill man. Even if you wanted to, you can't. You've got that leash on, so shut up."
Reverse Flash: "Try me, man. Even with this leash, I could still beat you easily."
Theo opened the door, ready for the battle. The leash fell off Reverse Flash—it seemed like it could have come off a long time ago. Theo closed the door behind them.
One of them had to die.
Reverse Flash: "Open the door, and I'll spare your life."
Theo looked at him with a smile and then stood silently in front of Reverse Flash. Reverse Flash used the Speed Force and tried to rip out Theo's heart, but unexpectedly, his hand couldn't penetrate Theo's body. A strange coldness emanated from Theo, and Reverse Flash was about to use all his power to slam into the door.
But the cold from Theo engulfed everything. Suddenly, Theo spoke: "Absolute Zero."
Everyone froze, turning into icy statues, including Reverse Flash. As he was about to escape using the Speed Force, Theo slowly placed his hand on Reverse Flash's shoulder, absorbing the Speed Force.
Theo: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Theo laughed like the Joker because, with the Speed Force, he was now invincible—unless Zeus showed up. Theo calmly walked out of the prison, leaving everything frozen, including space and time itself. After he left, he whispered "unfreeze" in the middle of the city, and the prison returned to normal. Everyone was in shock, but the guards were standing while the inmates collapsed to the floor. Theo didn't kill Reverse Flash; he just stole his power because he had promised Batman he wouldn't kill anyone. He kept his word.
Then, Theo used the Speed Force to find LexCorp's building.
He merged with the Speed Force, freezing time again. Nothing moved. Theo entered LexCorp and found Kryptonite. He took a small piece, unnoticed—a negligible amount since Kryptonite was abundant on Earth.
Lex had tons of it, but Theo only took 1 kg, not enough to be noticed. He quickly left. For anyone outside, Theo hadn't moved at all, just standing there, staring at the LexCorp building.
Who would've thought a man could rob a place in a nanosecond?
Theo then ducked into an alley and absorbed the Kryptonite, enabling him to transform his entire body into Kryptonite.
Superman is fucked now.
As Theo was about to leave, Superman appeared in front of him.
Theo: "Wow, Superman, you're even more handsome up close."
Superman: "Tatsuya, you're supposed to be in prison. Why are you out?"
Theo: "Wow, did Batman tell you to keep an eye on me? It's no big deal, Superman. I didn't commit any crimes, and I've spent enough time in prison, don't you think?"
Superman: "That's not for me to decide. I don't know all the reasons you were sent to prison. After all, Batman likes to keep things hidden."
Theo: "You're very informed, Superman, but I need to be somewhere. May I go now?"
Theo took a step forward, but Superman stood in front of him.
Superman: "You're not going anywhere."
Theo didn't say anything. He used the Speed Force. Superman wasn't expecting that; he only knew Theo had spider-like powers.
Theo turned his hand into Kryptonite and punched Superman in the stomach.
Superman clutched his stomach and started coughing. Theo held Superman in a princess-carry position, his hands still Kryptonite, preventing Superman from escaping. Using the Speed Force, Theo took some of Superman's blood, absorbing it. Now, Theo possessed Kryptonian powers. His body began evolving to process them. This transformation would take about a month, and when it was complete, Theo would have the power of Silver Superman.
Suddenly, they appeared in the Batcave. It was night in Gotham. When Batman saw Theo, his eyes widened, and he sighed.
Batman: "I didn't expect you to get out this soon."
Theo: "Your voice doesn't sound like you've missed me. After all, I did so many favors for you."
Batman: "What did you do to the prison? I couldn't access the cameras for 10 minutes, but I saw from the satellite that everything froze and then suddenly returned to normal. What are you, a freak?"
Theo: "Your words hurt me. Anyway, I could explain my power, Batman, but why would I? Even if I told you, it wouldn't change anything. After all, I was just defending myself. I didn't kill anyone—except the ninjas chasing me. And I kept my promise in the prison, didn't I? Don't you trust me?"
Batman: "It's not that easy. If it wasn't useful to you, you wouldn't have gone to that prison. And don't think I didn't notice how much you touched and interacted with everyone. Very strange."
Theo: "It doesn't matter. Look, I gave you a heads-up. Superman thought he could beat me."
Theo let go of Superman, who stood up.
Superman: "Was that necessary? Your hands are Kryptonite now, aren't they? How did you do it?"
Theo: "Oh, so you're not going to let this go. Fine, my power is absorption."
Theo explained his power.
Superman: "Now it makes sense—this much speed and Kryptonite. It's a ridiculous power."
Theo: "Says the god. Anyway, Superman, I'm free now. I'll be going live soon, so see you around."
And Theo vanished, leaving lightning in his wake.
