This Was Our Place First
Of course, as much as Tianshi Xue loathed the idea of acting like a genie, she did like the thought of granting people their wishes.
"At least one of us is getting our wishes to come true," she said and closed the folder.
She was reading the brief—basically a list of do's and don'ts while interacting with people. Manager told her that she should take that document like the bible (as The Old World used to say). It was going to be her guide to everything, and once she perfected that, she was going to be a model that people would follow.
It has been a few days since Manager gave her that guide, and she made it a habit to read it in the morning and once more before she fell asleep (actually, the practice was also suggested by the PR person, 'Repetition is key,' he said.) If Tianshi Xue was going to evaluate her life from another person's POV, it was like she was turning to stone. She barely did anything.
But that was just her opinion.
