Sense of Normalcy
Tianshi Xue could never be more thankful when the sense of normalcy slowly returned to her life. Despite the doctor's orders to stay in bed and rest until fully recovered, Prince Qui returned to his duties. There was a comfort in knowing that he was only in the military base and not out there risking his life.
She found that the food tasted better and ate more than she had for the past month and a half at mealtimes. She slept soundly with Prince Qui's arms around her, feeling his warmth. In just a short span of days, she regained some of her weight and looked healthier.
"You need to gain a little more," said Unis, the royal stylist. "Then I'll make amendments. Okay?"
The dress hung from Tianshi Xue's body with inches to spare. But she was contented. She thought it would look worse with her current frame. "Yeah, I'll get right on eating."
"Alright," smiled Unis at her in the mirror. "You're looking prettier as the day goes by, Princess."
