UA Sports Festival Part 2

"Start!"

Everyone exited the stadium as Present Mic started commenting.

"Okay, it's play-by-play! Are you ready to comment, Mummy Man?"

Aizawa's teacher is still wrapped in bandages from the USJ incident.

"You were the one who forced me to come." He answered while complaining.

"Let's start, Mummy Man! What should we pay attention to in the early stages?" Present Mic asked while commenting. "This part is now." Teacher Aizawa replied.

It cuts to the scene where all the students are trapped and crammed in like sardines as they struggle to get out.

Akira wasn't in a rush like the others though, he was convinced Izuku was having a hard time when he was pushed and Mineta being the smallest and shortest was being squashed.

"First screening."

Todoroki glanced at Akira one last time, and took action by freezing most of the students to the ground. He quickly preceded the students who were still trapped.

However, Aoyama whose Quirk was [Navel Laser] was fired, Kirishima broke through, Yaoyorozu got past him by creating a pole to jump over the ice and Bakugo flew by creating a small explosion to propel himself forward.

"Naive Todoroki!" Exclaimed Yaoyorozu.

"I won't let you get away with it! You half-assed bastard!" Bakugo declared as he used his Quirk to propel himself forward again.

Back at the stadium, Present Mic commented on this event.

"As expected of the students in Class 1-A, they outperformed the other students at the start of the competition... Huh? Oh, look at the audience, Nakano Akira, the top student of the first year is still standing! What is going on?"

Present Mic's announcement caught the attention of the audience in the stadium, even the cameraman pointed the camera at Akira.

Realizing their camera was him, Akira waved his hand and said with a smile.

"I gave the other contestants a chance, if I immediately participate, I'm afraid I'll immediately become the champion. Isn't it boring to see competitors running only for second place?"

"Ohhhh! What an arrogant statement! Let's wait and see if Nakano can live up to his words or just talk!"

Not only was Present Mic dumbfounded, the civilians and pro heroes who had come to watch were also shocked by the declaration.

Akira's attitude was clearly one of looking down on all first year students and not placing them in his eyes.

Sure enough, the other students became angry at being looked down upon, and they made every effort to win.

"This is not like the usual Akira."

At the forefront, Todoroki ran while looking back, and he was confused about the drastic change in Akira's attitude. From what he knew, the other party wasn't as arrogant as Bakugo.

Mineta launches his sticky ball across the ice and uses it to cross the ice.

With bulging eyes, he grabbed his grape-shaped hair and was about to throw it at Todoroki, but just as he threw it, he was hit by the robot.

"Mineta!" Izuku exclaimed as Mineta was sent flying through the air.

"First obstacle! Robo Inferno!" Present Mic commented.

Todoroki found himself facing a large robot. When Kaminari arrives and Ojiro is nearby

"Isn't that the Arena Trap from the Entrance Examination that Nakano destroyed?!"

Kaminari exclaimed in surprise that so many people were commenting on Robo Inferno.

"Are you serious? The Hero Department has to fight them?"

"This is what they mean by obstacles?!"

"Too much! I can't pass!"

Students from other Departments complained how difficult the first hurdle was to get through.

"So this is what they use in the general entrance exam?" Todoroki asked himself.

"I wonder where they get the money for that?" Yaoyorozu asked while Ochako and Jirou just stared at the robot.

...

On the starting line.

Even though it's far away, Akira doesn't need to worry about not being able to see the situation of the other participants, because there is a drone that records and shows it on the bee screen.

Watching the wide screen, Akira rubbed his chin and muttered:

"I thought Skadi would dominate, but she's holding herself back."

He didn't stop Skadi from having fun at the UA Sports Festival, and gave her free rein to do as she pleased.

"I don't think she's interested in playing with these kids."

He had forgotten that he was younger than what he would call a kid.

..

"Why are you guys just standing still? If no one wants to come forward, let me do it."

Skadi just came, seeing her classmates thinking of a plan to deal with Robo Inferno, and she walked in front of everyone.

"Skadi-chan, that's dangerous."

Tsuyu stretched out her hand to stop her.

"This scrap metal is nothing."

Writing runes above the robot's head, a giant ice hammer was created and fell onto Robo Inferno.

*BAM*

The ice hammer crushed Robo Inferno like a knife through tofu.

"Me first."

Skadi didn't care about the dumbfounded people around her, and she ran away from them.

"Skadi from class 1-A has managed to advance and defeat Robo Inferno in one strike! Not only is she beautiful and charming, she is also strong. Is there still justice in this world!"

As a commentator, Present Mic has to set a festive mood.

"Oooohhhh!"

The audience in the arena was excited and in awe of Skadi, they had seen it on TV broadcasts and on the internet. She is recognized as the most beautiful woman in the country, and is grateful to be able to see her in person even from afar.

The next student to defeat Robo Inferno is Todoroki, and is trying to catch up with Skadi.

Before Present Mic could say anything, Teacher Aizawa gave his opinion first:

"As expected of someone who entered via recommendation! He has never fought Robo Inferno before, but he can handle it."

He glanced at Akira at the starting line, and found his student doing radio gymnastics.

(That boy... He's not taking this seriously at all.)

Aizawa's teacher was speechless at Akira's odd behavior.

Back to racing.

Because more and more robots of all sizes come forward to students when someone brings up something unexpected.

"Hey! Someone's trapped down there!"

"Wouldn't that kill them?!"

"Are people going to die at the Sports Festival?!"

"HOW COULD I DIE!" Kirishima screamed and emerged alive from the robotic wreckage with a hardened body.

"Just watch out, Todoroki. He timed it on purpose, so it was exactly where they fell! If not me, someone would have died!" Kirishima said annoyed.

By the time he came out, something else had exploded.

"Class A is..." Someone spoke from within the robotic ruins.

"REALLY FILLED WITH A LOT OF BASTARD!"

It was at that moment that Tetsutetsu also detonated himself and he literally glistened like steel.

"Tetsutetsu from Class B is downstairs! That's crazy!" Present Mic commented and in addition.

"If it wasn't me, someone would have died!" Tetsutsu stated.

....

"Still a long time?"

If it wasn't for the rule against bringing in food, Akira would already be sitting casually in a folding chair eating popcorn and drinking cola.

His easy-going and carefree demeanor didn't quite match the competitive atmosphere. Class 1-A was too flashy and eye-catching after all because it was recently attacked by the League of Villains. The other classes feel ostracized and try to beat up Class 1-A's students as proof of their existence.

"Who said that Caster's physical attributes were weak?"

Skadi took the lead at the forefront, leaving Todoroki behind. Thanks to the Physical Strengthening Rune, her physique had increased several times.

"Maybe I should hold back a bit later." Akira muttered under his breath.
