UA Sports Festival Part 1

A week later, today was the day of the UA sports festival.

Unlike usual days, where outsiders are prohibited from entering the school environment. At every festival that UA holds, extraordinary people come to visit.

UA High School as the best hero academy in Japan, of course attracts many people, from pro heroes, civilians, to journalists who cover the news.

In the waiting room of class 1-A.

Akira and the other classmates gathered here.

"Everyone, are your preparations complete? We'll be entering the arena in a moment!"

As class president to replace Izuku, Ida has a high sense of responsibility.

Sitting on the chair next to Skadi, Akira was drinking mineral water, when he was disturbed by a teenager with half red and white hair, and a burn scar that was visible on his right eye.

"Nakano."

"Hmm... What's wrong, Todoroki?"

Todoroki Shoto, the son of a pro hero ranked two. With his left hand in his pocket, he said coldly and aloofly.

"Today's Sports Festival, I will defeat you and become the victor."

"Hoo~ Is this a declaration of war? I don't really care about the results of the Sports Festival, anyway, just do your best."

(If everything goes according to plan, after the Sports Festival ends, I will return to my world.) Akira thought in his mind.

Seeing Akira and Todoroki's tense atmosphere, Kirishima came and separated the two of them so they wouldn't fight.

"Why suddenly become so aggressive? The festival just hasn't started yet."

"I didn't come here to make friends. But, whatever."

Todoroki removed Kirishima's hand from his shoulder, and returned to his seat.

"No offense, Nakano, he's just hard to get along with." Kirishima secretly defends Todoroki.

"I know that, Kirishima."

Akira nodded and showed he didn't care.

After that, Kirishima reunited with Bakugo and the others.

Skadi supported her chin with the back of her hand and there was a faint smile on her face.

"What?" Akira asked feeling strange.

"Nothing, I must say that ignorance is bliss. If Todoroki knew your true power, he wouldn't act so arrogantly."

Skadi spoke quietly and only Akira heard her.

"Whoever the opponent is, I must win." Akira said casually.

"En, your victory was one of the important factors in your plan. However, Akira, I must say you are very ruthless to even think of such an evil plan."

Three days before the Sports Festival started, Skadi had been told what they were planning to do.

"I take that as a compliment." Akira said lightly.

"We have been called!" Ida shouted alerting everyone.

All of Class 1-A's students walked towards the arena, and as soon as they walked out the door, they were immediately caught on camera, and appeared on this country's TV.

...

5 minutes before.

"HEY!" From the big screen, Present Mic was present when the audience cheered with joy and the media had prepared cameras and VCRs to record every scene in this event.

"UA Sports Festival!!! Where all the heroes of the world watch our little heroes, who will slaughter each other --- this is our mega annual event!"

Present Mic's sound spread across the entire stadium the size of a football stadium.

"And let me guess, you all came to see them, right? Rookie heroes who have just faced the villains with their souls of steel!"

"Hero Department! Class 1-A, you guys came here to see them, right!!?"

"Oooohhhh!!!"

Infected with Present Mic's spirit, most of the audience in the stadium cheered loudly.

"I don't like this, it's like watching animals in a zoo."

Instead of being happy, Skadi scowled at the large number of viewers.

"There's nothing we can do about this, the UA Sports Festival is very famous in this country. Don't put on a face like everyone owes you, smile. Look over there, don't let down the people who came to support you."

Skadi followed the direction Akira pointed at, the corner of her eye slightly twitched seeing a group of men and women holding cardboard with her name and poster on it.

"You're just like an idol." Akira enjoyed Skadi's expression.

"Skadi-chan was named the most beautiful woman in Japan last week, and her fan club has over 10 million members."

Tsuyu overheard the two of them chatting and joined in.

"Don't say that, Tsuyu, I don't want to hear it." Skadi said helplessly.

Among all the female students in class 1-A, Skadi is the only close friend of Tsuyu.

"And followed by class 1-B, as well as classes 1-C, D and E from the Ministry of Public Education."

Next, Present Mic introduced another class, the whole group was ready for the event as they made their way towards the center of the stadium.

"Why, they don't think about us at all."

The rest of the class students secretly complained and were unhappy about being treated differently than the students in class 1-A.

The crowd cheered for the first year as all gathered in the middle before R-Rated Hero: Midnight, to be the referee for the event. Many male viewers were attracted by her lascivious beauty and hero costume.

Across the line of students, Mineta gave a thumbs up and whispered:

"I heard Midnight is a hero by day and a slut by night!"

Not only Mineta, the male students from other classes were also quietly noisy with each other.

"Hey! I hear she uses her Quirk to put some guys to sleep and she gives them blowjobs!"

"Shut up! My position here is according to my age! Now, the representative participant, Nakano Akira from 1-A."

Midnight then silenced everyone and asked Akira to come on stage.

Akira walked up to the stage maintaining a hypocritical smile on his face.

"Ehhh! The class 1 representative is Nakano?" Izuku's eyes widened, he just found out about this problem.

Even though Akira always gets first place in all subjects, because of his humble attitude and does not show off his achievements. Izuku didn't think he could be a first year student representative.

"Nakano ranked first on the entrance exam, do you remember?"

Lining up next to Izuku, Hanta kindly told him.

Akira said dialogue like let's do it with sportsmanship, and kind words. After he finished his task, he returned to the ranks.

"Okay! That way, we can jump straight into our first event!"

"They call it the preliminary round! Every year, many students cry themselves to suffocate at this event!"

"And fate has decreed that this year's first round is..."

"This!'

Midnight then revealed the first play. Obstacle race. She then explained that all 12 classes would be racing outside the stadium and as long as they stayed on the pitch, yes they could do as they pleased. Looks a bit unexpected. But without further ado, Midnight ordered everyone to take their places.

It cuts to square one as all is ready and waiting. 3 green lights come on and one by one they turn off and after they all turn off....

"Start!"

Midnight announces the Hurdle Race begins!
