Bribe!

"Megi!" Sakura exclaimed as she pulled him closer and hung herself on his shoulders.

"What happened?" Megumi asked watching the footage from his satellite in orbit around the planet.

"Like we performed the spirit transformation technique, I wondered if we could do other jutsus together."

"You mean combination jutsu?" Megumi asked turning towards Sakura who was resting her chin on his shoulder.

"Un." Sakura agreed with an expressive nod or at least tried to by digging her chin deeper into Megumi's shoulder.

"What combination of jutsus can we even do? You're good in fire and earth manipulation and I'm good in water and lightning manipulation what can we even do together?"

"What if we made something like a mud dragon? Or a steam dragon!?"

"Hmmm….alright, we can try, but I hope we come up with jutsus that are better than making a dragon." Megumi nodded while Sakura's face blossomed with a bright smile.

"I'm sure we'll get some ideas along the way!" Sakura cheered.

While Moving toward the gardens, Sakura asked Megumi, "How are things looking for the attack on Mugen?"

"Not good. There are too many shinobi being trained for the attack." Megumi responded with a solemn look on his face.

"Can't you step in and protect all of them?"

"I could and I will, but we can't depend on me directly since you'll be 'killing' me during the fight.", Megumi responded by explaining his worry.

"I can always just kill you at the end and then escape?"

"No, that won't be possible."

"Why?"

"Since we don't know what Hagoromo's objective will be this time during the fight."

"You mean to say he could leave anytime after he achieves his objective? Like in Konoha?"

"Yes. I'm sure he's gotten the news from Jiraya right now that he couldn't kill the villagers so I don't doubt that he might do something even riskier next time while he attacks our village."

"...Hmmm. I understand why you're worried but I don't think you need to worry so much alone. Especially since Mito baa-san, Queen Seramu and Sara who you trained yourself will all be protecting the village too."

"*sigh* I would be happier if Mito baa san and Hashirama jii-san could use their full strength, but I doubt they will reveal themselves by using their Kekkei Genkai."

"Don't worry about it! I'll help you by killing any shinobi that escapes their grasp!"

"Hehe~ Thank you." Megumi nodded and lightly kissed Sakura's cheek as he petted her head. "You're the best."

"Hmpf! Of course, I'm the best! What did you think of me before now!?"

"Haha~ Let's practice!" Megumi cheered as he and Sakura finally separated as they reached the courtyard of the gardens in the castle.

"Which elements do you want to try first?" Sakura asked Megumi since he was the lesser of the two in terms of skill with chakra.

"Why don't we start with Earth and lightning since the two of us know both of them well?"

"Sure." Sakura nodded and the two began to discuss how they would combine their jutsus.

"What do you want to do first? A simple combination of Earth and Lightning dragon jutsus?"

"Why don't we do a simple Lightning field jutsu first?" Megumi asked.

"Lightning field jutsu? What's that?"

"Something like you create iron rods in the ground and I will apply a lightning field to the area you create so that anything inside it is paralysed?"

"Oh!? That sounds like a good idea, let's start with that." Sakura nodded and Megumi began preparing his chakra by converting it into the lightning element.

"Alright I'll create the iron spikes first and then you perform your jutsu!"

"Fine." Megumi nodded.

Sakura stomped her feet on the ground and caused cracks to develop in the floor of the garden as several iron spikes broke through these cracks and formed meter-long rods that stood firmly in them.

"Your turn!" Sakura shouted excitedly and looked at Megumi who stood with his hands crackling with electricity.

"Alright!" Megumi shouted over the *crackles* of the jutsu he was using.

"On Three! Two! On-"

Suddenly before the crackle of lightning left Megumi's hands they miffed out as Megumi bit his tongue.

"What are you doing!? What happened?" Sakura asked puzzled since Megumi seemed to have cancelled the jutsu for no apparent reason.

"The spirits!" Megumi explained, "Wouldn't the spirits be disturbed because of this!?"

Sakura's eyes widened at Megumi's explanation as she looked at Megumi with shock, "Yes! I forgot to ask them about it! I'll do it right now! Help me use the spirit transformation technique!" Sakura spoke in a hurry.

Sitting on the ground, Sakura and Megumi used the spirit transformation technique to leave their bodies. 

And when they used Universal Sage Mode the two were immediately made aware of the little balls of light that bounced around the iron spikes on the field.

"Would it be a problem if we practised using chakra here?" Sakura asked the fluffy balls closer to herself.

*squeal* *squeal* *squeal*

"I see."

"What happened?" Megumi asked as he played with the same yellow spirit he had seen yesterday.

"They said that they will leave for a while and then return once again when we are done!"

"Oh? Won't the Susanoo bother them?"

"I think it'd be best if we moved it away." Sakura nodded.

"Alright then, I'll send it to our home in Konoha."

Teleporting the seal that contained the Sharingan to their home in Konoha, Megumi watched as the spirits immediately flooded the castle and began to bounce around inside the house.

"Haha~ They're cute little fellows."

"That they are." Megumi nodded.

"Let's continue our practice.", Sakura said as she slipped back into her body as did Megumi.

Once back in her body, Megumi began charging up his hands with lightning nature chakra which he touched the iron spikes that had appeared on the ground, causing them all to instantly arc with each other as he supplied more and more chakra.

"This is no good." Megumi said,s houting out loud over all the arcing of electricity that was taking place in the ground in front of him.

"What!?" Sakura shouted over, apparently not having heard him well.

Megumi pulled his hands away from the spikes and explained when everything quietened down in a few moments.

"This is no good!" Megumi shook his head.

"What!? Why!? The electricity was arcing so well already!"

"Instead of going towards the jutsu, most of my lightning nature chakra is being grounded into the earth through the metal spikes!"

"Oh damn! I forgot that the rods acted as ground." Sakura shook her head slightly disappointed in herself.

"Let's leave Lightning and Earth Nature chakra for now. Let's do something with water and earth or something else like that."

"*sigh* alright." Sakura nodded and began to think about what sort of jutsu Megumi could accomplish with her helping him.

Meanwhile, Tsunade was pacing around their house in Konoha while she waited and watched the street leading up to their door with eagerness occasionally.

"When will it come!" Tsunade wondered out loud, frustrated while she clenched her hands tighter and stared at the street leading up to the door with a bit of anger.

But that anger was displaced immediately as soon as she found a cart man moving towards their house with a large package on the back of his cart that he was dragging by attaching it to a bicycle.

"Hehe~! It's here!" Tsunade exclaimed loudly enough for even the cart man on the other side of the street to hear her shout.

The cart man came to a slow stop at the end of the street as he disembarked from his bicycle and looked at Tsunade with a bit of reverence.

"Tsunade-sama, I have a delivery for you." the cart man spoke with humility.

"Quick! Give it to me!" Tsunade exclaimed as she pushed through the cart man and effortlessly carried the large package on the cart.

"Haha! I finally have it!" Tsunade exclaimed as she left the cartman with a few Ryo for his hard work, walked into the house and shut the door behind her with a kick.

Entering the house, Tsunade braced herself for teleporting to the castle as she held tightly to the package worried that something might happen to it while she was whisked away.

Arriving in front of the main gate, Tsunade pushed it open slightly and peeked inside the castle to see if anyone was watching and tip-toed towards the first floor of the castle where her room was.

Finally, inside her room, Tsunade relaxed on the bed as she placed the package safely and slowly on it.

Walking to the door, Tsunade peered into the corridor as she spotted a maid cleaning the castle walls with a feather brush that was a little dirty from the continuous dusting of the walls.

"Could you tell Megumi not to disturb me for the next few minutes!?" Tsunade asked the maid who paused in her cleaning, turned to Tsunade nodded politely and began to walk towards the grounds where Megumi and Sakura were training their combination jutsu.

"Phew, that's one worry taken care of. At least now he won't know what I received!"

Tsunade walked back into her room and looked at the package she had placed on the bed with bright shining eyes.

She pulled out a kunai from her back pocket and sliced open the package cleanly like she'd done this a million times before.

The cardboard of the packaging dropped to the sides and revealed the contents that had been sealed inside.

"Tsuna-nee! How could you do this to me!" Megumi said pouting as he looked at Tsunade with mock anger.

Tsunade's head snapped in Megumi's direction as she immediately placed herself between the box and Megumi while speaking in a not so polite tone, "I asked you to leave me alone for a few minutes." Tsunade whispered in anger.

"And leave getting my share of the rewards!?"

"Your share!? You didn't even do anything!"

"It was because of my spying that you got anything in the first place!" Megumi argued.

"Hmpf. That doesn't count as much of anything since even I could've figured that out!"

"Then why didn't you figure it out on your own in the first place!"

Megumi and Tsunade glared at each other for a minute before Tsunade sighed and moved away from the box.

"Fine. Just because you're my brother-in-law, I'll be lenient on your this once."

"You better be!" Megumi said excited as he moved toward the contents of the box.

"No more than two per cent!" Tsunade argued suddenly.

"No! I want twenty per cent!"

"Twenty per cent my foot! Two per cent and not a single per cent more!"

"Please! Fifteen per cent!"

"Five per cent!"

"Ten per cent!"

"Seven and that's final!"

"Fine then neither yours nor mine, let's go with eight and a half per cent!"

"What are the two of you arguing about!?" Sakura suddenly appeared at the door of the room and looked inside.

"What!!?" Sakura asked startled before anyone could reply.

"No way! We're not giving you a single per cent of all this!" Megumi said pointing at the contents of the box that Tsunade had placed on the bed.

"*sigh* and what makes you think I even want it." Sakura shrugged and scolded Megumi, "Now that you've agreed on a price, come back to practice!"

"Hehe~ Fine!" Megumi nodded and moved towards the stack of cash in the box that Tsunade had received from the Minster himself, a personal bribe to keep her mouth shut before the masses.

"I still think eight point five per cent is too much!"

"Don't be stingy! I can see at least a few million Ryos in here. I'm only taking one part of it!"

"Hmpf! Do what ever you want!" Tsunade conceded defeat allowing Megumi to smile in triumph as he pulled out a storage seal and began to store the exact amount of money into it.
