In a world of swords and magic, where gods and goddesses roam the land. Where heroes rise and ascend the heavens. A world where the strong eat the weak. The protagonist finds himself reincarnated into a rabbit. Nevertheless, he was able to adapt quickly to his new life trying to survive to live for another day. This is a story of a simple rabbit's rise to power.
Do you know that rabbits get annoyed when there is too much noise in their surroundings? Well, currently I am quite irritated, because of the constant squeaking of these Groundhogs.
Squeak! Squeak! Squeak!
My sensitive ears really do have some cons, sometimes. These annoying overgrown rats just wouldn't shut up it's like I killed their relative or something.
Oh wait, I did! Well, now I know why when I encountered one of them while I was eating, they immediately whistled and called for some reinforcements. Only one Groundhog responded though.
Oi, oi, oi, oi, are you idiots blind or what?
How dare you disturb me when I am eating the finest of Matcha on this wonderful morning!
I got ready to attack them since I know they will not let me go. I used [Bounce] and hopped toward the tree nearest to me. The groundhogs rushed toward me and made a tackling motion.
I used [Kick] on the tree trunk to gain a boost toward one of the groundhogs, then pointed my horn and used [Headbutt] to inflict a huge amount of damage.
[Groundhog]
[HP 13/20]
I pierced the side of the groundhog with my horn and gained back my footing on the ground then evaded the groundhog charging from my right by hopping back.
Since I now know their fighting habits, I made quick work of them and finished them off.

Those rats just charge toward you for either a tackle or a bite, with my small frame and agile body I can easily dodge those what a piece of cake.
Are those claws of yours just for digging your own graves?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, what a bunch of lose—
Thud

Another groundhog unexpectedly came crashing down on me from the back. I've been too careless.

[Greater Groundhog]
[A Greater Groundhog that lives in the forest of the Forgotten Sanctum]
[HP 39/40]
This one seems even chunkier than the one from yesterday.
With him pinning me down, he got into a biting motion with his big razor-sharp incisors, trying to chomp down my head.
I used [Kick] to his belly and was able to get out of my predicament.
[Greater Groundhog]
[HP 35/40]
I used [Bounce] to build up some momentum, I know that simple usage of my skills won't do the job for these big guys. They have stronger bodies than their pre-evolved form.
Besides, I can't take those shots head-on, although my attacks pack quite a punch my defenses are still that of a small bunny, okay?
The groundhog steadied himself, and as expected, charged toward me once again.
I evaded the charge by hopping to my right, but the big guy suddenly did a full stop and jump toward me, planning to munch on me.
I used [Bounce] to jump in his direction, and when the groundhog's body was below me, I used [Kick] to propel myself up.
[Greater Groundhog]
[HP 31/40]
The groundhog then crashed to the ground but was able to get back up quickly then he turned towards me and cast a fireba—
Wait, what? A fireball? How?!
The groundhog cast a fireball and the shot narrowly misses because of the speed of my ascent. I felt the high temperature of the fireball brush past my skin.
I almost turned into a rabbit flambe.
The fireball hit a tree, and its trunk turned black.
How is he able to cast magic?!
I realized that this guy is different from the others.
Are you trying to prove that you're not like other girls?!
My feet finally landed on the bottom of the tree branch, and I used [Kick] to propel myself toward the greater groundhog.
The groundhog, thinking like I am falling, jumped up in a tackling motion to turn me into a volleyball.
I used [Headbutt] to meet him head-on.

[Horned Rabbit]
[HP 15/29]
Due to the recoil and the tackle of the greater groundhog, I crashed into the charred trunk behind me.
The greater groundhog crashed into the ground with a new hole in his back.
I steadied myself and used [Bounce] to speedily hop around the area.
Whistle
I suddenly heard some whistling from the distance, when I looked, I saw 2 groundhogs calling for reinforcements.
Fuck, it seems like there will be more of them.
You're lucky this time you fat rat. You better sleep with one of your eyes open!
I hopped hurriedly away from the scene. Some Groundhogs appeared and then chased after me.
I hopped from tree branch to tree branch and after some time have passed, I think they already gave up in pursuit of me.
When I thought that I already hopped into a safe distance away from them, I dug a burrow beneath a tree and rested for a while.
Then I traveled toward the pond that I found yesterday.
I thought of spending my time practicing my [Appraisal], if I trust what I read from my past life, then this will be a very helpful skill.
While traveling towards the pond I just used [Appraisal] on my surroundings, well we need to be efficient right? Time is money, I mean time is Exp!

When I arrived at the pond, I saw some ducks swimming.

There were two big ducks and 4 smaller ducks swimming in the pond. Must be a family.
When I arrived, the ducks noticed my presence and looked toward me but quickly returned back to chilling on the pond.
I think they didn't even see me as a threat for them to be alarmed.
I dug a temporary burrow beneath a tree beside the pond. This will be my resting spot whenever I come back here in the future.
I saw the ducks peck a frog then that frog suddenly turned purple and died.
The big Mallard quickly swallowed the frog.
It seems that they have venom in their beaks, good thing they just ignored my existence, I don't have a cure for venom.
While observing them, it seems like they are just chilling in a pool and grabbing snacks out of nowhere. Snacks as in those poor frogs.
They don't even know what happened then suddenly their mouth is bubbling.
I continued using [Appraisal] until I ran out of Mana. After feeling the mental exhaustion from mana loss, I took a nap on my temporary burrow,
When I woke up, I felt quite refreshed, and I saw that my Mana points my replenished up to more than half of my total. It seems really does help in replenishing Mana huh?
When I use mana, I felt tired mentally, so when I rest my mind while sleeping, I gain back some.
Does that mean that the limit of my mana is based on what level of stress my mind can take before I collapse?
Well for now, I don't really care about that at all, I just want to improve my skills, and for me to improve my skills I need to use them more often and that needs Mana.
I hopped towards the exit of my burrow and was greeted by the gentle moonlight shining from the moon.
It was already nighttime, and the ducks were also gone from the pond. I guess they live elsewhere.
I hopped back to the riverbanks, and while I was traveling, I encountered some packs of rabbits grazing.
What I am really surprised about is that it seems that there seems to be a structured unit within each rabbit pack.
I saw 1 Greater Rabbit in each pack together with 2-3 Horned Rabbits. They were guarding 5-10 Common Rabbits per pack.
The Greater Rabbits are in the middle of the pack, observing the bunnies eating grass and the Horned Rabbits roaming around the grazing area. I think they serve as a protector while the Greater Rabbits manage the pack.
To my surprise whenever I encountered some packs of rabbits they looked in my direction. Can they recognize rabbits that are not a part of their pack?
Based on what I have observed while traveling, I think that really is the case, there was even one Greater Rabbit that growled at me for looking in their direction.
Oi, oi, oi, you better stop that or I'm gonna put some dirt in your eye.
Quite the territorial bunch I must say. Like some guys screaming to get out of their lawn, you don't own this place stupid.
Well, it seems that the rabbit villagers are active during nighttime.
When I got back to my burrow by the riverbank, I first ate some wild grass and then called it a day. I still feel like the time that I rested earlier wasn't enough for me to fully recover back to full health.
I entered my burrow, found a comfy spot, and hopped off to dreamland.
