Someplace New?

I had woken up not realizing what had happened or where I was seconds later I realized I was hit by a car but wasn't wounded... and I was also a child! I looked around the room I woke up in and realized it looked more ancient in some way as there were no technology anywhere or power at the very least. There were only lamp like lights in the room and one window with no glass, I decided to look outside it because I got curious about where I was, then I gasped in confusion because it looked like I was in a history lesson but I was apart of it!

I had ran outside as quick as I can but for some reason when I ran everybody got slower and slower at the second, I stopped running and they started moving at the same normal walking speed again. I asked one of the citizens what was going on and they said "are you alright son you seem to be lost" I looked at him with such confusion, I asked where I was and she replied "we are in the capital of the holy land of course".
