1.15 The scary couple

Yuxin looked out of the car window with an excited smile. He can't believe he is at Qiping's birthday party. He looked at the hotel and then the red carpet with all the celebrities being photographed. Yuxin checked his clothes to make sure he was perfect and walked out of the car. He walked the red carpet with a smile and posed in front of the photographers. When he was sure they got his best angles he went to the ballroom.

He couldn't stop himself from pulling out his cellphone and taking sneaky pictures of celebrities. He wants everyone to know he was here. He looked around and saw that Qiping hadn't made his entrance yet. He got a drink and looked toward the entry when he heard a commotion. Yuxin decided to go check which celebrity had everyone so excited and went to the entrance.

He looked at the two people who were walking hand in hand in shock. The photographers and some paparazzi who sneaked in kept screaming King. He looked at Cillian who was holding his hand appalled. He doesn't deserve to be at this party let alone with King and have his photo taken. He frowned when he saw that Cillian just wanted to walk in and that King had to ask him to take pictures together.

He doesn't understand what he sees in him it makes no sense. Yuxin looked down thinking if he can be one of those pictures with the two of them people will know he runs in the same circle as King. King is always trending on any type of platform but now that they have him with someone hand in hand it will be everywhere. Yuxin's eyes shone with ambition, he needs to get in a picture with them.

Cillian posed for the photographers. King looked at him and asked:

"Don't you want to be immortalized in pictures with me forever? I've never been seen with someone else you know."

Cillian smiled, he leaned in and gave him a peck. King was stunned, he could tell at first he was uncomfortable so he never thought he would kiss him. He pulled him closer and kissed him tenderly. Cillian kissed him back.

The photographers and paparazzi were having a field day. They never thought they would see King with a partner let alone kissing. Cillian broke the kiss or he knew King would've stayed there kissing forever. When he broke the kiss he felt eyes on him and met Xiang Kai's furious eyes. He walked to Cillian and asked angrily:

"So this is why you wanted us to meet at the party instead of going together as we agreed?"

Cillian moved a little further from King and asked confused:

"Why are you angry?"

Xiang Kai chuckled darkly.

"Why am I angry Cillian is this a fuckin joke? Can't you tell that I love you but here you are kissing him!"

At that point, even the guest had pointed their cellphone at the scene. The press was so excited to see the first scandal of the night.

Cillian looked at Xiang Kai stunned and murmured:

"I didn't know you liked me."

"I don't I love you and I want us to be together."

When Cillian looked at him uncomfortable he asked:

"Do you love him?"

Cillian murmured:

"I do, I'm in love with King."

Knowing that his chance to be with Cillian was ruined Xiang Kai decided that he would at least save his career. He worked too hard to lose everything because of his past. Huang told him to do everything in his power to make sure that King doesn't want to be with Cillian anymore and he will. Everyone knows how cold and unforgiving he is, as soon as he sees him kiss Cillian King will give up on him.

Maybe then Cillian will agree to be with him. Thinking that Xiang Kai's eyes lit up. He pulled Cillian in his embrace and kissed him but just before their lips crashed a hand got in the middle. Cillian pushed him away and wiped his hand away on his pant in disgust.

King's eyes darken and he grabbed Xiang Kai by the neck. His feet were dangling in the air and he was trying to unloosen King's hold but it was impossible. His pheromones were so destructive that even the security hired for the party didn't dare to approach. Cillian stood between him and Xiang Kai and held his face. King was looking toward him but it was like he was looking through him at Xiang Kai.

Cillian said:

"Let him go he isn't worth it."

King didn't move and Cillian could hear Xiang Kai gasping for air. Cillian gave him a small kiss and said:

"My love let him go I can't lose you and I will if he dies."

At that King finally looked at him, he could see Cillian's fear of losing him and he let go. Xiang Kai fell pathetically on the floor gasping for air.

Cillian wrapped his arms around his neck and hugged him. King hugged him back feeling guilty, he doesn't want him to be this worried about losing him. Cillian pulled back and caressed his cheek. They both turned around when they heard police sirens. Everyone believed that the police were there after security called them because of what happened but they were stunned when they arrested Xiang Kai.

They became speechless when the detective arresting him said:

"Xiang Kay you're under arrest for drugging and assaulting seven minors and three other charges including distributing underage pornography."

Xiang Kai who was being handcuffed said in fear:

"No please listen to me this isn't what you think."

Xiang Kai kept screaming for innocence as the officer read him his rights.

As he was pushed into the car he screamed in rage:

"That son of a bitch Huang turned me in didn't he."

The detective said:

"Don't worry you'll have plenty of time to talk with him in prison. He's being arrested as we speak."

Hearing that Xiang Kai felt at least a little better. He almost died doing his dirty work but he still turned him in. He'll do everything in his power to implicate him.

Everyone had heard what the detective had said and Yuxin ran to his car and his driver sped home. When he arrived his heart stopped when he saw the police cars. He ran inside and saw his father on his knees with handcuffs. He ran to his mother who was crying and asked:

"What's going on?"

Huang looked at his son and smiled reassuringly.

"Don't worry it's nothing they are just searching the house but there's nothing to found."

Just as he finished saying that an officer said as he enter the living room:

"I found a computer with underage pornography in it. It seemed like the suspect Xiang Kai sent videos of all his misdeeds and he kept them. I didn't go through it all but there are more than five videos in here."

The detective ordered:

"Bag the evidence and take him away."

Yuxin burst into tears and Shuyi cried:

"What do I do Huang?"

He yelled as he was taken away:

"Call the lawyer and withdraw bail money."

Shuyi nodded and ran to grab his cellphone.

Huang sat in the back of the police car wondering how he could have ended up with so many videos. He was sure Xiang Kai had only sent. Since he'll only be charged with having underage porn he'll have a bond and he'll be able to leave today. He has one of the best lawyers and he'll get him out. he can't miss tomorrow's board meeting.

Cillian walked to the bar holding King's hand with a smile. King looked at him with an amused smile. Once they both got a drink he asked:

"Was this your doing?"

Cillian shook his head.

"It was their doing I just made sure they would get caught."

King chuckled."

They both looked at the stairs when Qiping finally made his entrance. Everyone clapped for him excitedly. Although they felt like it was boring compared to what had happened at the entrance. Qiping walked the room saying hello and walked to King when he saw him from afar. He smiled at him and said:

"Hey, how are you?"

King smiled and said:

"I'm good. Happy birthday."

Qiping smiled wider.

"Thanks man."

He looked at the omega who had his back to him and asked:

"Who's your friend?"

He heard from people that King came with someone and that he almost killed Xiang Kai for him so, of course, he is curious.

He was surprised when Cillian turned and said with a knowing smile.

"We've already met."

He looked between them and said:

"King I didn't know you were friends with Cillian."

King said proudly:

"We're not friends he's my fiance."

Qiping was stunned. King looked at Cillian who was looking at his hands searching for something. He asked:

"What are you looking for?"

Cillian raised an eyebrow:

"My ring. Aren't we engaged?"

King chuckled and kissed him. He loves this person so much, that he doesn't understand how he survived without Cillian.

Qiping coughed uncomfortably and said with a smile:

"Cillian thank you for coming."

Cillian looked at Qiping and said with a smirk:

"Thank you for inviting me even if it was just so you could manipulate me into selling you more shares before you let Yuxin and Huang deal with me for good."

When King's eyes darken Qiping's smile disappeared. He had no idea Cillian knew all of this, all the people who know what Huang is up to believe he is in the dark but they can't be more wrong. Seems like Cillian is smarter than he lets on. He immediately said:

"Cillian this isn't..."

Before he finished Cillian cut him.

"I don't need to hear lies. I only came here to tell you that you better sell me your shares and never set foot in my company again or I'll share what happened when you were 18 on route 34 with the entire world."

Qiping gaped at Cillian, how does he know? He had to leave the country when he was 18 until his father dealt with his vehicular manslaughter.

He was young and foolish and he made the mistake of driving drunk. His father compensated the family generously for losing their daughter and the case was closed thanks to his father's connection. If it spreads then his career will be over and he can't have that. He said desperately:

"I'll do as you say I promise please don't spread what happened."

Cillian felt King hug him from behind, he wrapped his hands around his waist and put his head on his shoulder. Cillian said with a gentle smile:

"Good, then we have a deal. Oh, and you better not say a word to your little crush Yuxin or I'll burn your entire life to the ground."

Qiping felt a chill hearing Cillian's threat. His tone was so sweet and his smile so beautiful but the words coming out of it were bone-chilling.

He looked at King and saw that he had a smile on his face, he couldn't look more in love if he tried. No wonder he is in love with Cillian, they're both scary. He looked at Cillian again and promised:

"I won't say anything."

Cillian nodded and said with a friendly smile:

"I'll send you the contract, don't worry I have your e-mail."

Qiping swallowed with difficulty and nodded. Of course, he has his mail he knows everything about him.

Cillian asked:

"My love do you want to stay longer?"

King let go of Cillian and looked at him.

"No, let's go home I'm bored."

Hearing that Cillian felt complicated for some reason. He nodded and they both left hand in hand.

Qiping looked at the scary couple leave. He better stay on their good side unless he wants to end up dead.
