I woke up in a daze, surrounded by trees. It seemed that the man who granted my wishes hadn't specified where I would be dropped off. I took a deep breath to calm myself down and looked around, hoping to catch a glimpse of the wall, but all I could see were trees stretching in every direction.
Noticing my small hands, I remarked, "Well, at least I'm not a baby. That would have been annoying."
I walked up to a tree and with a gust of wind, I propelled myself up, reaching the treetop quickly. "Guess air is my starting element. I thought it would have been earth, but hey," I shrugged, taking in the view. There was nothing but trees around me, with a few distant giant naked figures that I assumed to be Titans, but they were far enough to not be an immediate concern.
"Air is a pretty good element to start with. If I had gotten earth, I could have patched the hole in the wall by bending the earth around me and fixing it," I contemplated the possibilities of different elements.
"I wonder which time period I landed in. Well, it's time to mess up the timeline of Attack on Titan," I said with a mischievous grin.
Closing my eyes, I meditated atop the tree, feeling the air around me, appreciating its freedom and unpredictability. It couldn't be fully controlled, but it was a formidable force if harnessed correctly.
Standing up, I opened my eyes and punched the air, creating a gust that extended about 25 feet away before dissipating. If I could master the basics of air, I might progress to the next element. There was only one way to find out, but for now, my priority was finding food and water.
"I need to move around silently, or the Titans will notice me," I reminded myself before jumping from tree to tree, utilizing airbending to boost my movements.
After about 30 minutes, I finally came across a boar drinking from a river. "This needs to be silent," I thought, focusing my energy on my hand and staring at the boar. Realizing that everything needs air to breathe, I formed an air-sucker, a projectile that would take all the air out of the boar's lungs, ensuring a quick and noiseless death.
I descended from the trees, using air to slow my fall until there was no sound upon landing. Approaching the boar, I checked to confirm its demise.
Satisfied, I gathered dry sticks and began rubbing them together to start a fire. With patience and friction, a flame emerged, which I nurtured with air to make it larger and last longer.
Using long sticks, I propped the boar's mouth open, ensuring that the aroma of the cooking meat wouldn't travel beyond a 25-meter radius, thanks to my air manipulation. I cooked the boar slowly over the fire, maintaining a low temperature to prevent overcooking and drying out the lean meat.
Once the meat was cooked to my satisfaction, I devoured it, despite its less than desirable taste. "This is good, too bad I don't have any spices to enhance the flavor," I remarked while eating.
"Let's hope I find the wall soon because I don't plan to stay here forever," I declared, finishing the last of the boar meat.
Realizing the importance of protein, I ensured that no part of the boar went to waste. Content with my meal, I drifted off to sleep, hopeful for the future.
In the middle of the night, however, I woke up feeling incredibly sick. I ended up vomiting everything I had eaten, feeling the discomfort deep in my bones. Exhausted, I managed to fall asleep once more
, hoping for a better day ahead.
