chapter 17 talking with bulma

[ Kaleth P.O.V ]

We walked towards where the old man she said helped her was. Arriving there I immediately knew it was gohan and next to him was ox king, my possible in law in the future if goku still gets with chi chi. Which god I hope he doesn't.

"Hey old man thanks for helping me, i was able to make my wish and now I'm going to head home." Said bulma trying to quickly leave.

"Oh I see I'm happy for you miss bulma, then this means it'll be goodbye." Said gohan with a kind smile.

"Yea thanks old man, now goodbye." Said bulma

"Ready to go, also which direction is your house." I asked

"I live in west city at capsule corp." she said.

"Alright hold on tight." I said with a smile while lifting her up and flying towards capsule corp.

"Wha!!! Aah" bulma yelped in surprise.

"How are you flying." She said holding on for dear life afraid to fall.

We continued flying for about thirty minutes. During this time bulma had started enjoying being in the air. Then we finally arrived at the capsule corp building.

"Alright this is it right." I said while putting her down.

"Yup now let's head inside hurry I'm even more curious about you now." She said even more eager than before.

"Haha alright alright calm down like I said I'll answer your questions no need to rush." I said laughing.

After being rushed inside we went to the garden and sat down. Once we were comfortable she began her questions.

"Ok so back to my last question why do you have a tail." She asked extremely curious.

"Well I have a tail because I'm a saiyan. All saiyans are born with a tail, it's also a source of power for us." I said while moving my tail around.

"Wait what's a saiyan." She asked confused.

"Saiyans are a warrior race or more like we were a warrior race there's not many left of us." I said answering her question truthfully.

"Do you mean to say that your an alien. And what do you mean there aren't many of you left." She asked

"First of all yes I'm an alien I guess and second our race was wiped out leaving only a handful of us." I said

"If your race was a warrior race how was it wiped out." She asked confused.

"Our race was enslaved by the cold army and brought under the rule of king cold. This lasted a long time before he handed us over to his son frieza. Frieza was stronger than any saiyan so no one was able to rebel." I said explaining how the saiyans were wiped out.

"Everything was fine until I was born." I was saying before being cut off.

"What do you mean things changed because you were born." She asked confused to why that mattered.

"Well I was born as the strongest saiyan ever in history. And I only continued to grow stronger. Eventually the other saiyans started saying I was the legend of our people. Those rumors eventually reached frieza and he decided to blow up our planet after making all the saiyans return home." I said as I continued the explanation.

"Knowing he was going to blow up the planet I got my family off the planet and brought them here. Then the planet was blown up. That's how our race was pretty much wiped out." I said finishing the explanation.

"Why was he so afraid of a legend from your race that he'd blow up your whole planet." Bulma asked curious.

"Well the legend of our race was that of the super saiyan, a warrior said to be the strongest in the universe or something like that. He didn't want any threat to his rule of the universe so he eliminated our race before it became a problem." I said

"You said you were the strongest saiyan ever in the history of your people. Could you have killed him if you fought him." She asked curious to know if I could fight against him.

"Yeah I could have killed him and avoided the destruction of our planet but I chose not to." I said to her looking at what her reaction would be.

"Why not, did you not care about your own people." She asked confused as to why I wouldn't to anything.

"Bulma our race is one that isn't big on feelings or caring for others we thrive in battle and battle only. Thats also why we went around conquering planets, killing off all life on them, then selling them to the highest bidder. The only thing that changed was that we were now under someone else's control." I said looking at her before continuing.

"Don't get me wrong I don't hate my own race but I also hold no care for them. Another reason I didn't stop the destruction was because I didn't want to be king of our people. Something that would have happened had I killed frieza then and there.

I didn't want to be responsible for a planet full of saiyans that wouldn't like the changes I'd make which would eventually lead to war." I finished saying waiting for her reaction.

"Wow that's a lot to take in. So your entire race were space pirates and mass killers. Are you also like that." She asked a little wary.

"I have no issues killing anyone who endangers my family but I also don't go around wiping out planets with people who haven't done anything to me." I said not metioning that whole imecka thing. The rest of the planets were already wiped out by the frieza force so it didn't matter. Though I don't know if I should tell her about either.

"Huh alright well at least I know you'll do anything to protect me." She said absentmindedly before realizing what she had said and getting embarrassed.

"Of course." I said with a teasing smile.

"Ahem anyway, a long time ago I saw a boy with red hair and fur all over his body and had a tail. Was that you." She asked wanting to know if her gut feeling was right.

"Yup that was me." I said with a smile not know she had seen me back then.

"How come you look different now. You have black hair and eyes and no fur at all." She said looking at me closely.

"Well that because I'm in my base form, what you had seen could be considered a transformation however I was born that way." I said to her.

"So could you transform right now." She said excited.

"Sure." I said before quickly transforming into ssj4 and activating ultra instinct.

"Haaa that feels way better." I said feeling a lot more comfortable and relaxed being back in ssj4 with ultra instinct active.

"Wow you look so different. Red hair, brown/red fur, and silver eyes. And you said you were born like this, it's amazing." Bulma exclaimed.

"Yea I was born like this, pretty cool huh. Now how about you tell me about your self." I said

"What do you want to know." She said with a smile.

"I've been living on this planet for years now so I know how big capsule corp is, meaning you could get anything you want without needing to do anything, so why would you go on a dangerous adventure for a wish." I asked wanting to know more about this since it's not fully explained in the anime/manga at least I don't think it is.

"Well I'm extremely rich and beautiful, so everyone who tries to talk to me always has a reason. My supposed friends only use me for money, those who try to date me go for both my body and money. No one ever tries to get to know me for me without any other motives. Everyone just sees me as spoiled brat and an easy target." She said a little sad took a deep breath and continued.

"So when I found the first dragon ball and found out what they could potentially do I took the chance. I figured I could wish for the perfect boyfriend. One who wouldn't care who I am as part of the richest family, or only cares about my beauty. They'd care only for who I am." She said look at me waiting for an answer.

'I guess I'll just be straightforward and honest about myself. I'd be no different if I only lie to her.' I thought then looked at her

"Well I'll be honest and say I'm in no way perfect bulma. I've killed a lot of people and destroyed multiple planets. I also already have a wife, though I am able to have more partners. In regards to how you want to be seen and treated I can say I honestly don't care for your money at all, and though I find you extremely attractive thats not all I care about. Also even though we just met I do want you to be my woman as well." I said to her while never breaking eye contact.

'Might as well be honest instead of making her think I'm some perfect boyfriend, and let her think she's the only one in my life only for her to find out I have a wife and hurt her and betray her trust.' I thought to myself while waiting for her to process what I said.

"Huh..what do you mean you've killed people and destroyed planets. Also what do you mean you have a wife yet your allowed to have more partners." Said bulma confused at the turn of events.

"Well I went on a trip to space with my wife to learn more techniques. While she stayed on a planet where she could learn, while she did that, I went around hunting down friezas army and planets. I then killed them and destroyed some of his planets." I answered honestly.

"As for having a wife and being allowed to have more partners, well when I was five I gave a ring to my sister and years later she wanted to become my partner, according to her I had already married her when I gave her the ring. I then said I wanted to have more wives and she agreed." I said a little anxious at how she would react to that part.

"That's… that's a lot to take in. I don't know what to say." She said confused.

"I know it's a lot to take in, however I do like you and want to be with you. So all I can ask is that you give me a chance. I'll give you time think about it." I said while getting up to walk out.

"Wait, I-I" before she could finish what she was saying I cut her off

"You don't have to force your self to accept this or give an answer right now." I said not wanting to pressure her.

"I'll come see you in a week." I said ready to kai kai back to the planet I was on.

"Where are you going." She asked before I could leave.

"I'm going back to the planet I was staying at." I said

"Can I come with you, I want to see what you do while I think about how I feel about this whole thing. My wish brought you to me, so I at least want to see where this goes." She said with a determined look.

"Alright go grab whatever you'll need I'll wait." I said not rejecting her.

After saying that she rushed to her room and grabbed what she'll need while away. After a few minutes she came back ready to go.

"Alright let's go." I said extending my hand to her.
