Departing from the shack, Rak made his way towards the Black Root pirates new hideout. Obviously he knew where it was so it wasn't all that hard to find them. "Guys we have new orders from the Captain....." Rak could hear Clive commanding the crew from afar.
'I should probably change my appearance a bit.' Rak thought before taking a quick detour. A few minutes later he reappeared near the base, dressed like what he considered to be a typical pirate. He had a black bandana across the lower half of his face, a white shirt, and some torn up brown trousers.
Approaching the base, Rak kicked the door open. Immediately all of the Black Root pirates drew their weapons gazing at Rak with intense hostility. "Heh, I am Edward Teach your Captain should have mentioned me." He chuckled before strutting about within the base.
"You're Clive right? Come with me." Rak laughed before dragging Clive with him. The crew didn't know what to do, after all Clive had just told them that man by the name of Edward Teach was said to arrive, and he'd have to be respected like Black Root himself. Because of this no one dared to provoke him, so they simply let him drag Clive to another room.
They then entered a small room, before Rak locked the door. "So, do you believe me now?" Rak asked letting go of Clive. "Y-Yes sir." Clive replied before saluting Rak. "Captain Teach is the strongest." Clive declared in a hushed voice.
Although there a modicum of privacy in this room, the sound proofing wasn't exactly the best either. "I am glad you understand, now as you heard from Black Root we need to make contact with the Gold Tooth pirates." Rak said before unlocking the door.
He then exited the room with Clive in tow. And a few minutes later, the group of 80 pirates were making their way towards the Gold Tooth pirates' base. Naturally everyone was scared when they saw this scene.
After all this had become a somewhat common occurrence. Before Polink was a place of crime and evil, but at least their weren't constant pirate wars as there were now. No one wanted to be caught up in something of that scale.
As they made their way towards the remnants of the Gold Tooth pirates, everyone sensed that another battle was approaching. Just as the Black Root pirates arrived at the Gold Tooth pirates' base, around 100 pirates were outside and waiting for them.
"What do you all want?" One of the Gold Tooth pirates asked wearily. "We're here on a business matter, not for a fight." Rak stepped forward placing his hands in the air as a sign of peace. Hearing this the Gold Tooth pirates weren't exactly sure what to do.
"And who are you?" Another asked out of curiosity. "I am Edward Teach." Rak replied succinctly, before continuing to approach the Gold Tooth pirates. Immediately the Gold Tooth pirates were alarmed.
"What are you trying to do?" The pirates questioned in fear, too many odd things had happened recently. "Naturally, I am coming towards you so we can discuss business. Or would you rather my entire crew come inside as well?" Rak smiled as a realisation dawned upon the Gold Tooth pirates.
They then grabbed Rak before taking him inside, naturally before being "abducted" he signaled for the Black Root pirates to stand down. He didn't need to start a battle here, as each and every one of them was a valuable asset.
Entering the base, Rak was somewhat impressed. While they had lost a lot, they were still in much better condition than the Black Root pirates, despite not having a Captain to guide them. 'Seems this will be easier than I thought.'
He was then taken to a room in which 5 men sat. "Who is he?" They questioned the man who had brought Rak to them. "I go by Edward Teach, I am on Captain Black Root's orders to make a deal with your crew." Rak answered before the man had a chance to.
Hearing this, one of the 5 motioned for the man to let Rak go. Doing so the man then left the room, leaving Rak alone with the 5. "So what exactly is this deal?" They questioned, after all a deal had to be profitable for them to take action.
"Revenge." Rak replied. Immediately the temperature of the room seemed to drop, as the 5 men sat their with ugly expressions. "What do you mean revenge?! All we can do now is survive." One of them roared.
"Besides, do you even know who we need to take revenge on. To this day none of us know who orchestrated the whole event." Another of them continued, shaking his head at the idea. Who were they to take revenge on? A ghost?
"Well its pretty simple... which Captain has come out unscathed after all of this. The Grip pirates took the first loss with their Captain eliminated, which led to them to kill more than half of our Black Root pirates. On the other hand you guys were led by the nose almost halving the members of the Ink pirates while your crew lost almost 75% of its members. Tell me, who do you think is the winner here?" Rak explained his reasoning to them.
The group of 5 already had some ideas, but hearing it all explained so concisely they knew what the most likely possibility was. "I see what you're getting at, but what can we do? The Po pirates are 500 men strong, even if we combine forces we're not even 200 men."
"You're forgetting something. What are our specialities? With your funds would it be that hard to bribe a few people. Not to mention in conjunction with our poisons." Rak smiled before taking out a clear liquid.
