Mermaid song

Bian took a piece of the Mad Warrior creature, he roasted it and ate it as a pass time snack.

And with that, Bian had maxed out his sacred geno points. All that was left were his super points which were at 39.

"If the sacred-blood creatures are already so strong, the super creatures might as well be berserk." Bian mused to himself.

"But, what if there is a berserk super creature." Bian shuddered at the thought, he went back from whence he came, along with the Emperor Manticore and Infected Blacktooth.

Roar!

A centaur fell to the ground, blood flowed from the gaping hole where its heart would be. The blood meandered with similar blood leaks and formed a miniature river.

"Eat up" Bian summoned the Holy Angel, she easily ate bodies that were five times her size in a couple of seconds.

Bian, Infected Blacktooth, Tyrant Minotaur and the Emperor Manticore went around hunting sacred-blood creatures while the Holy Angel stuffed her mouth on the hunted beasts.

To Bian's surprise several green spots of light also flowed into the minotaur. It couldn't get much though as several more went to the manticore.

Unlike the Emperor Manticore, the Tyrant Minotaur didn't seen interested in the massive green light orb in the mountain.

Time slowly ticked by as several hours passed and the Holy Angel finally slowed down her eating speed after devouring over a hundred beasts, she was nearing evolution but didn't bother with sacred-blood creatures anymore.

"I guess it's time" Bian wandered closer to the mountain. He went by several sacred-blood beasts as strong as weak super creatures.

*Growl*

A menacing half-gorilla and half-spider ran into combat, its speed only less than that of the Cruel Shrike. It had the upper body of a gorilla and the lower body of a spider.

It wielded a two meter long spear, made of some sort of wood. The spear flashed in an instant and approached Bian.

Bian ducked out of the way, the Tyrant Minotaur caught the spear that was heading towards the Infected Blacktooth.

"Fall back!" Bian commanded Blacktooth. The lightning rune surfaced in his mind, time seemed to slow to a crawl.

With the use of the dongxuan sutra, Bian carefully avoided the gorilla spider attacks while he studied the energy flow.

Luckily for him, it was a second generation super creature. After he had seen enough, the manticore and the minotaur joined the fray.

The Tyrant Minotaur pinned down its spear, while the Emperor Manticore delivered a poisoned sting towards the throat of the gorilla spider.

At the last moment, the gorilla spider dodged to the right. The stinger penetrated its shoulder.

With a hideous roar, the gorilla spider jumped back and switched the spear to its left hand. It's right arm was limp and quickly turning dark purple.

Bian would have loved to join the fight, but he lacked a suitable weapon. He couldn't even collect the mace of Blacktooth, as that would cause too much resistance.

The Tyrant minotaur rushed forward and parried the spear of the gorilla spider with a fist, massive gusts of wind flew out as the spear of the gorilla spider splintered into countless pieces.

Seizing the opportunity, the Emperor Manticore pounced on the gorilla spider like a wild animal.

It clawed, bit and stung the gorilla spider wildly, blood and sinew flew about. The gorilla spider couldn't muster enough strength to get rid of it.

"The Manticore has gotten stronger" Bian narrowed his eye. The manticore had gotten slightly stronger since they first arrived. More and more of the green lights were flooding into its body.

"Stop!" Bian ran towards the gorilla to deliver the final blow, the melody of the Empirical Will wafted into his ears. Much of gorilla's organs had been exposed and a simple fist or two infused with yin energy was enough to finish it off.

"How is this a monkey?" Bian looked at the dead spider monkey it clearly resembled a gorilla.

"Still no weapon" Bian said with a sigh, he probably had the most super beast souls in the entire second god sanctuary yet he didn't have a single weapon.

With the Body Add-on of the Brutal Spider-Monkey, Bian could climb on virtually any terrain with great dexterity.

Bian dug out the grayish life essence, he summoned the Holy Angel to chow down the beast as he stimulated the energy flow of the Brutal Spider-Monkey.

The life essence melted into his body, it imbued him with even more strength.

Bian gained nine more super geno points from the Brutal spider monkey. All his geno points were maxed out save for super which was now at 48.

The Holy Angel slurped the last leg of the Spider-Monkey. She returned to Bian's sea of soul and began her evolution.

"That's one more reliable partner on the way!" Bian was excited, with three super creatures slaying all would be a breeze.

The fight had ended and silence reigned again, Bian deactivated the Empirical Will. He immediately heard a beautiful song in the distance.

The voice was low but extremely pleasant, Bian subconsciously walked towards the source of the sound. The Tyrant Minotaur, Emperor Manticore and Infected Blacktooth followed suit.

After walking for a while, Bian finally saw the creature that was singing so beautifully. It looked like a mermaid with fairy wings.

She had the lower body of a fish with deep blue scales and light blue fins. The upper body of a human female with ocean blue hair that covered her naked chest, and finally the light blue wings that resembled those of a fairy.

The wings were extremely pointed, they hardly flapped and yet the mermaid flew and maneuvered in the air as though she was underwater.

It was a beautiful and serene scene, Bian unconsciously unsummoned all his beast souls. He admired the beauty of the mermaid, the lush green grass beneath their feet and the curtain of green light orbs raining from the sky.

With a maleficent smile, the mermaid slowly made her way towards Bian. Her black claws grew to more that two feet.

Clank!

A metallic sound rang out as the Infected Blacktooth blocked the strike of the mermaid. Unlike normal beast souls, a parasite beast soul couldn't be unsummoned.

The mermaid didn't seem to be the physical type, Blacktooth summoned the mace and parried the attacks of the mermaid. With each exchange he would receive a new injury, the injury would immediately clot itself and heal in a couple of minutes.

A myriad of sparks flew into the air as they continued their clash, Bian stood there watching all this happen. Life seemed like a movie right now, although the mermaid was fighting, she never stopped singing.

The mermaid would occasionally bypass Blacktooth and rush to attack Bian, luckily his brain had evolved past that of a normal person. He could still dodge attacks from a super creature even while in a trance.

Time passed by like a blur, Blacktooth had been injured all over. He was barely managing and would soon collapse.

CRACK!

As Bian continued to observe the spectacle, a crack emanated from his sea of soul. This internal turmoil temporarily snapped him out of the trance.

"What in the fuck!" Bian was enraged. He summoned all his pets including the newly evolved Holy Angel.

He activated the aura beast soul and even went as far as activating his Empirical Will to avoid being hypnotized again.

To his surprise, the mesmerizing hymn of the Empirical Will drowned out the mermaids singing. Neither Bian nor any creature for that matter was affected by her song anymore.

"You're so dead!" Bian wasted no time as he and his entourage ganked the mermaid to death, she wasn't even a physical fighter.

SCREEEEECH!!!

With a scream from the mermaid, Bian delivered the final blow. His force penetrated her body and went towards her soft spot.

The Yin energy ruptured her heart.

"Still no weapon" Bian said with a sigh, he was now very close to the mountain. He moved closer while he was in a trance and hadn't noticed how foggy the area was.

A rough outline of the mountain could be spotted, but the gigantic green orb in the center really stood out. Other than that, the environment was shrouded in so much little green orbs, they formed a blanket that limited vision.

These little orbs also greatly reduced the span of the dongxuan sutra. Bian knew his earlier moment of weakness was caused by his carelessness. He left the Empirical Will active and was ready to take on the world.

With less than a hundred meters separating him from the mountain Bian continued to march forwards, the Tyrant Minotaur by his right, Holy Angel by his left, Infected Blacktooth guarded their rear while the Emperor Manticore manned the front.

A wave of green light flooded the Emperor Manticore. On closer inspection, these green light turned out to be countless green light orbs all rushing towards the manticore.
