"Be careful of people who change their attitudes so suddenly, she might be in for several favors, be careful my dear, I don't want to see you sad..." Mo Shan cautioned her as they strode into the kitchen.

"All right momma, no need to worry..." she nodded her head but still she was happy that Mingyue chatted with her.

They got into the kitchen and Bai Xue fetched some warm drinking water into the glass and gulped down her throat soothing it.

"Mother, I will go upstairs and do my homework, let me know when the food is ready..." she kissed her cheeks before rushing away with her school bag taking the stairs up, but she wasn't feeling hungry, only happiness filled her heart abd tummy.

The atmosphere in the living room was somber and since the family was huge, it took some time for the food to be ready, they didn't dare question Bai Zhou Hua's decisions.

"Mingyue..." she roughly knocked at the door when Gu Yuan also walked over to the door, he had just gotten off work and had several pressing matters that he needed Bai Xue's help for the projects.

"She isn't inside?" he inquired curiously as they banged at the door, Gu Mingyue smirked before getting into the bed and covering herself up, falling asleep and leaving them there banging at the door as long as they wanted.

"She isn't inside? How come she can't hear?" Gu Yuan frowned while gazing at the files in his hands, he was feeling hungry but he knew how serious and urgent the matter was.

"She is inside..." Gu Ting felt like, she was openly ignoring them. How could she not hear their loud bangs.
