Control?

MC POV~

As I open my eyes I find myself in bed.Wondering how I got here and if that meeting was all a fever dream, I still feel warmth near my heart.As I look around my room I see everything crystal clear. My sight has increased by an alarming degree.

As I try to get off the bed I crack the floor boards.That's the least of my problems as I can hear a buzz like a fly is around me and different voices?I feel as if someone is stabbing my head with a scalding rod I shout "STOP" , a blast of energy comes out of my body disrupting and destroying my furniture and everything stills.Finally peace and quiet.

I look around at the destruction with wide eyes not believing just 1 word was needed to destroy my room. I hear a voice "I'm glad you're awake don't bother responding this is a sliver of my power I left behind when freeing your soul.I have things to explain to you young one by now you must have realised you are much much stronger than your previous self.As you might know you aren't entirely human and as such you possess emmense potential and power enough to destroy this plane.I'm here now to give you knowledge on how to control your strength being physical and mental.Once it is over I will disappear as I've fulfilled my goal good luck." I just stand in complete silence pondering the information flooding into my mind.

As the flood of information stopped I almost punched the wall in excitement I'm semi-immortal?Like who wants to not live forever guaranteed you have other powers but that also comes with its cons."I'm glad gramps ain't around or I would've had a lot of explaining to do" I muse to myself while taking a step forward very carefully as to not damage the floor again.Well it seems I would lose control of my powers if I'm not calm?Couldnt I just limit myself and tone down my power ?No bad idea from what I've seen this world isn't the same as the book I read if my guard is down I'll be down sooner or later.I start cleaning my room and throwing out all the broken furniture yea super strength for the win.I have rudimentary control but it will take time to get fine if not perfect control I'm not worried practice makes perfect.

I go take a warm shower then change into some light clothes and go watch Television.

(2 days later)

Ok I thought getting more control of my body would be harder or at least a month but in two days now this is an interesting development.Do I have immense learning capabilities or is that apart of supernatural condition?[1].

After getting my strength control down I start with my mind as tedious as it is I know a strong mind or a flexible mind is key to not getting on their radars this early.Hiding my power is key well in the early stages as to exploring the rest of my abilities.When I have more confidence I can let lose be damned the consequences,plus protection for gramps is needed so much to do and so little time.

As I try to create my mindscape I'm left with a white plane filled with nothingness. I start by making bookshelves organising my memories in different shelves and in alphabetical order it's taking a long time due to my two lives but I'm patient enough to endure.As I'm halfway done I face slap myself for my stupidity instead of making bookshelves what if I use a computer?Store my memories in servers and use a search engine instead of a library?Maybe a combination use the computer as the search engine itself and the books as the servers minor adjustments needed. After I'm done sorting all my memories and the new additions I lock the "room".Now for defences I sink the room and conjour a house above it with a white pickard fence and a dog to guard it.

I make a maze spanning over what looks like infinity when in reality it's ever moving so as to confuse telepaths and invaders.I create stars in the "sky" of my mindscape each capable of firing off dense energy in case of intruders.It still looks plane but simplicity is key as I make a few more knights in armour more like golems this shall do as I close my eyes and wake up I'm drenched in sweat "I guess that took a lot out of me thank expected" I say while getting up to get water.

John POV~

As I park the car and walk into the house I see Conner drinking water I remind him about school tomorrow which is his first day I see him blink at me absentmindedly don't tell me he forgot? He just laughs and speeds to his room. After going to Dicks house Conner has been acting different maybe I should invite Talia over Lord knows I need to see my great grandkids before I pass or maybe I don't want Conner to be left alone.

As I finish make dinner I call Conner downstairs and tell him don't forget school tomorrow.

Talia's POV~

After Conner visited and I talked to grandma as fraustrating as it was she congratulated me on finding my other half as she puts it.She's practically forcing me to see him again. "Hmph I'm totally not afraid to go back yes that's it."

Plus I don't want to involve him in my problems ,ever since the Cullens came back the elders have been strict even Sam has changed I just don't want Conner getting hurt.

(???) POV~

After I arrived today I got my bags and walked to see a police cruiser with Charlie standing outside greeting me.He helped me put the bags in the bag of the car and we went home.We rode in almost complete silence he tried to start a conversation I just replied with "yes and no".

When we got home he showed me to my room it's just as I remember it Charlie said he couldn't bring himself to change anything so he just cleaned and maintained it all the years I was gone.

I go to get supper with Charlie his watching the game we ordered take out. It was late so I went to bed hoping tomorrow will be better.
