Bonten is formed. They're not Japan's worst criminal organization yet, but they're climbing to the top quick. Bonten's number two in command, Haruchiyo Sanzu, is set on bringing them to the top by any means necessary. However, his world is rocked once he meets you. Can he really split himself in half and be a better man for you? Can he give someone else all of his humanity and remain ruthless? Can he conquer his anxieties and doubts? Or will he ruin you in the process?
The first thing the senses pick up when entering Club Zero is the heat. With a large dancefloor being the center attraction of the night club, warm bodies crowded it rubbing, grinding, and moving to the music. Its dark aura had overhead moving lights rotating across the mass. Colorful beams of light and lasers spread out in all directions. To the far left of the entrance was the illuminated bar equipped with three bartenders on busy nights like this and liquor to satisfy every customers preference. Conveniently the rest rooms were set on either side of the bar, hidden champagne colored lights made its exterior glow. Bordering the remaining perimeter of the establishment were table sections for groups to rent. These sections were two tiered; both tiers where separated with three rowed obsidian metal railings.
The first tier being three steps up from the dance floor had smaller plastic tables and comfortable black couches. The first tier was the cheaper option; mostly rented by college students or large working-class friend groups on a night out. The second tier was five steps up from the first tier. It was well-appointed with large, cushioned booths and glass tables. It also came with its own wait staff; those sitting in the second tier didn't have to leave their section to buy drinks.
The spacious setting was enough to dance, drink, and be merry in a more intimate setting. Separated from the crowded floor, it felt like a completely different space. The second tier was mostly reserved for businessmen and occasionally by the criminal group Bonten. Club Zero's owners and local patrons understood that because of the establishment's location in Roppongi the Haitani brothers held control of the speakeasy. This in turn meant that Bonten itself controlled the institution. Therefore, anytime the men entered the building they were warmly met and brought to a second-tier section immediately.
A bright limelight shone across Y/n face upon entering the club, illuminating a face comparable to a child being told they had free reign of a candy store. She felt goosebumps start to spread their way up her arms. Every little hair standing at attention, she felt alert and vivacious. A great deal of students at school were aware of the party girl's weekend habits however she was not shunned or disliked for it. Y/n was the life of the party in all aspects. Her ability to balance mountains of college prep schoolwork, friends, and social outings was something to pay homage too.
She turned to Senju and Nami, leaning in and raising her voice slightly to be heard over the music and its loud bass, "Find Aya, she texted me saying they all pitched in and got a first tier section." Nami gasped, "Shit we're going legit tonight huh? What're you doing?"
"I'm going to the bar, drinks on me tonight!" Y/n kissed both friends on the cheek quick before departing to the bar or hearing Senju's protest that drinks on Y/n meant they were in for trouble. She smiled to herself, one bottle split by at least four or five girls most certainly didn't mean that much trouble.
Takeomi had been slipping Y/n money whenever he visited the Akashi family home. It was given on the premise that Senju's grades had significantly improved since their friendship started so "consider it a tutor's fee" he'd say before handing her 10,000 yen. Drinks are on Omi tonight, Y/n thought when finally reaching the bar.
"What can I get you gorgeous?" the overworked bartender leaned over the countertop to hear what Y/n had to order. Her smile cracked open on her face; eyes flickered with something naughty underneath "A bottle of Hennessy and a bottle of pineapple juice and let me get them with the pouring nozzles in them." The bartender nodded to this with a small shake of the head. "How many cups you need?" "No cups," Y/n replied with a snicker, she couldn't wait to see Senju's face, "we're driving the boat tonight."
As the executives began to settle into their section, Koko clapped down on Akashi's shoulder teasing "Don't you worry man, I'll help you find them." He was referring to the girls and not the targets. As soon as the men had entered Club Zero, Akashi had been scanning the crowd from the entrance to the booth.
"Oh yeah all of us will keep an eye out. Won't be too hard to find that's for sure." The taller Haitani brother said playfully. He was smoothing his black button up down as he took his seat. It was the younger brother that then spoke up. His usual bored tone replaced with same energy as his counterpart, "They're over there." He jutted out his chin to the right, and just as he said Senju and Nami were in fact in the first-tier section diagonal to where Bonten was seated. Cruel fate had Takeomi witness his sister standing on a chair, cheering and swaying to the music surrounded by girls he recognized from her school. Now where the fuck is Y/n?
Sanzu scanned each girls' face quickly, trying to locate his personal goal. He felt himself get anxious at the thought that she wasn't among them. Had she already been claimed? Wrapped up in some college douchebags arms grinding on the dancefloor? His uneasiness had him scratch the back of his neck, still standing, surveying the area with fleeting eyes. The fuck is this feeling? There's a room full of bitches, who cares? The voice in his head reminded him. Shaking off his anxiousness he slid in the booth claiming the outside seat, next to Rindou and across from Bonten's advisor. Despite what the devil on his shoulder had whispered in his ear, he couldn't help that his gaze hovered the vicinity of the girls table.
"What's it take for a guy to get a drink around here?" Haruchiyo loudly stated in a dramatic showing, slamming both hands on the table eyebrows ticked in annoyance. "Calm down bud we're not really here to have a good time remember?" Koko couldn't help but bask in the second in command's state of irritation. Seeing Haruchiyo wound up was always great entertainment in his eyes. "Exactly. We're here for a reason, despite whoever else is around us. We have a job to do so Stop. Getting. Distracted." It was Kakucho who spoke up sternly; he understood that the presence of Akashi's sister and her friends threw a wrench in their plans. Nonetheless, they were in a time crunch. If they did not kidnap Kimura and Mori tonight the chances of them going into hiding rose significantly. No one could disagree with that, all nods and shrugged shoulders. They were all on the same page until the night's biggest distraction came back into the picture.
"I GOT THE JUICE!"
Y/n cheered as she exited the crowded floor and began to climb up the steps to the first-tier section. With both purchases in a hand each her arms once again stretched out in a grand gesture. Senju jumped down from her chair, rubbing her temples to attempt to look concerned. The look on her face betraying her instantly – her bright blue eyes displayed nothing but amusement. "Open up" Y/n flipped both bottles gripping their necks. Pouring the liquids into Senju's mouth created a sort of mixed drink, shot hybrid that was guaranteed to get the ladies at the table feeling great. Senju smacked her lips and tried her best not to make a face; Y/n's drink combinations were always tasty, but the hard liquor still left a sting. Nami, Aya, and two other third year girls lined up for their turn to drink Y/n's potion. After pouring the girls' drinks one mouth after the other Y/n handed both bottles to Senju, "You know what to do my friend." Her expression rebellious as Senju climbed back up onto a chair. Standing straight in front of Senju, Y/n opened her mouth.
