Ra.One Prelude Part 1

Year 2025....

The world what we have come to know for many years after inhabiting and roaming here and there has gone.

The world which has been cultivated and developed by humans using high rise buildings, factories, vehicles and many more things have perished by the very same weapons and technologies which the humans have created.

And the one and only being who singlehandedly led the destruction of the world and much of the human populations is not even a human but a mere game villain who doesn't have it's own face called RA. ONE.

Many countries that once stood tall and proud about their power and grasp on the world fall on the feet of Ra.One like they are nothing.

Those who opposed Ra.One got immediate death and those who surrendered to his rule gained his benevolence and surivived.

Let's go to the beginning of the point from when it all began to take shape and form in it's own course or according to Ra.One.

Several Years Ago...

Barron Industries, UK

Shekhar Subramanyam the lead game designer of Barron Industries is holding a meeting with his team for the grand launch of their new game Ra.One which is a sure shot victory and diabolical entry in the gaming world.

The main reason behind this confidence of Shekhar on his game is because of the Villain which they have created for the game.

The most advanced and powerful villain or in gaming terminology last boss to be ever created in the gaming Industry, Ra.One who boosts a remarkable set of powers along with the self learning AI.

Shekhar: "Guys think about some cool idea which we can use to show our game to the world."

Jenny: "This game is a sure shot game changer for ages."

Shekhar: "I know Jenny but we need some idea to present that game to the world."

As all of the team including Shekhar and Jenny are brainstorming for ideas to present their game to the world, Akashi one Shekhar's colleague has an idea.

Akashi: "Why don't we do a live demo of our game ?" 

Shekhar: "What do you mean Akashi ?"

Akashi: "Everyone think about it. Whenever a game is launched, it always get two types of things. One is the cinematic cut scene trailer and then a 7 to 10 minutes of gameplay preview. But we can do something else. We will show the world the live demo of our game and Ra.One. This will mark a sharp presence of the game in the minds of all gamers and people."

The elaborated explanation by Akashi made everyone present in that meeting to think about his idea very carefully with great considerations.

And soon within a few moments, Shekhar immediately came towards Akashi and seeing Shekhar coming, Akashi got up from his seat and as Shekhar reached near Akashi, Shekhar immediately hugged him with a very big smile on his face.

After this gesture of Shekhar the other teammates began to clap and cheer for Akashi and seeing this Akashi also smiled.

Shekhar: "Very great idea Akashi. Now I want you to be the player to play the game live for our audience."

Akashi: "It will be done Shekhar."

Shekhar: "Great. Now everyone get ready to make our game the most popular and fascinating game of the century."

Other Teammates: "Yeah..."

With their plan completely ready, everyone began the process to execute the plan and among all of them Shekhar was the most excited and happy person.

Because he created this game and Ra.One after getting inspired from his son who at the age of 12 is a big tech savvy person who is a big time gamer and wanted to play a game where the villain is more powerful than the hero.

And he shared this dream of his with Shekhar and thus started the process of creating Ra.One, the game or to be specific the character which will change the world forever.

Everyone at Barron Industries quicken their part of preparation for the game for the launching of the game and eventually after one week the fateful night of game launch arrived.

Many guests from the tech world, gaming Industries, gaming news reports, gamers and the family members of Barron Industries employees all came together for the mega launch of the new game Ra.One.

Shekhar also brought his wife Sonia and Prateek for the game and he was super excited for Prateek to witness the game.

After having drinks and some snacks the time has finally came to unveil the game to the world and as decided Akashi wearing the motion sensor jacket, glasses and gloves went onto the stage.

On the stage a big screen was placed on which the game begin and on the other hand Shekhar began to tell his son about the game while Akashi began to play the game.

Shekhar: "Prateek this is our new game which have the most powerful and dangerous villain till date. This game has a special device called The H.A.R.T which both the hero and villain use. This H.A.R.T is both the weakness and power source of both of them. The villain of this game has many different powers but the most unique power of this villain is that it can transform into any human. With each attack on it, the villain can learn the move of its opponent and the villain is able to create new moves all by itself. And it all thanks to the self learning AI that powers it. This game has three levels and every player has to clear the first two levels to reach the final level where Ra.One will be present. In that level, the players will get only one chance, only one bullet that can be fired from a special gun to kill Ra.One only when it's H.A.R.T is connected to it otherwise it can't be killed."

While listening to the explanation of the game from his father and simultaneously seeing Akashi playing the game piqued the interest of Prateek to the highest level.

On the other hand Akashi has easily cleared the first two levels thanks to his chinese origin and martial arts training and then the final round begin where Akashi got engaged with Ra.One in hand to hand combat.

Due to the self learning AI, Ra.One counters each and every move of Akashi which made Prateek to love this game more and at one final point Ra.One hits the game character of Akashi in the chest which for some reasons Akashi felt the pain of that attack which made him put one hand on his chest and cough for few times.

Akashi was really shocked by this incident but then his attention got diverted as all the audience began to give a big standing ovation with loud clapping of cheering. 

Soon Prateek began to demand to play the game to Shekhar but Shekhar was not allowing him and at that time Akashi who has returned took Prateek to play the game.

Akashi logged Prateek under his alias of Lucifer in the game and Prateek began to play the game and Akashi returned to the main party.

After this launch everyone got in the mood and began to dance on the dance floor while Shekhar opened a bottle of champagne ans began to drink.

While this was going on Prateek kept improving in the game and cleaning the levels as he has cleared the two levels with only one remaining.

But then the game got paused by Akashi who told Prateek,

Akashi: "Okay Lucifer it's time to go now."

Prateek: "I am almost that level 3 Akashi. I will clear this game. Please let me play."

Akashi: "It's already enough for today. Now come on."

But then...

Ra.One: "You can't go like this Lucifer. You have to play the game."

Prateek: "I will kick your ass another time."

Ra.One: "You can't go like this Lucifer. I will kill you after coming into your world."

Prateel: "Yeah yeah. We will see about that when you will come here."

Saying these words Prateek left that room while Ra.One became infuriated for not being able to finish the game.

Meanwhile Akashi began to close the mainframe of the game but the mainframe began to malfunction.

No matter how much Akashi tried to stop the game but it just couldn't be stopped while Ra.One has determined his goal.

Ra.One: "Lucifer Has To Die."

Soon Akashi went out to look for Shekhar and he found him with his family and Jenny and after finding him, Akashi told Shekhar that there is some problem with the mainframe of the game and he has to stay.

Shekhar being drunk agreed to stay back and told his wife,

Shekhar: "Sonia I am really sorry. But I have to stay back there is some issue with the game."

Hearing his words Sonia just gave him a smile and both Shekhar and Akashi then began to leave but then Prateek called Shekhar from behind and told him,

"Appa(it means father or dad) thank you so much for the game and here it is from me to you and Ra.One." Saying these words Prateek threw a rose towards Shekhar which he caught.

At that moment receiving the rose from Prateek made Shakhar very emotional as he got a little bit teary eyed because for the first time Prateek had thanked his father.

Then Sonia, Prateek and Jenny left the Barron Industries and Shekhar and Akashi also went to sort the issue of the game not knowing the threat which is about to come.
